TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Disillusioned, upright, highly-principled cop turns his back on humanity due to his experiences in Ryslig and embraces monstrosity + The Fog.
WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Descending further into Hell.
SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Two things! I want negative CR in the form of Fourth Followers that Javert can smoke out and punish. This will come with wild repercussions, and I understand this. This will also mean that we'll likely have an adversarial relationship. I can offer you a tier-up with a kill/revenge kill in return for a really juicy god conflict CR!

Second, Javert desperately needs good friends and possibly a trusted lover. This can be a good or a bad influence, though full disclosure is that I have him on a track to hit the Fog priesthood before the end of 2020. In any case, he lost his friend and therapist and no longer has anyone to speak to about his darkest, most horrific and dishonorable thoughts. I want a depth of CR where he reaches a point of near-tenderness and trust with another person, platonic or passionate.

CHARACTERS: Dr. Robotnik
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: A very antisocial genius mad scientist who likes machines a million times better than humans. He's a faerie now, but while he's very happy with the usefulness of his changes, he still needs to get back home so he can Get That Hedgehog. Temporarily a very friendly person who loves people!!!

NAME: Naem
CHARACTERS: Marco Evangelisti (peccatore) and Vinegar Doppio (epitaffio)
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Marco is the resident computer nerd and Fourth priest with good intentions and a never-ending guilt complex. He has some brain problems he's been doing his best to manage, but he refuses to leave the Fourth God despite the fact that it would be undeniably positive for him - this is because he's grown too attached to someone he sees as a boy who never had the loving father any boy deserves to have. He's joined up with the Haze, though, because all in all, he still wants to do what he can to help others.

Doppio is an unassuming young man - older than he looks, in truth - who was once the most trusted subordinate of a mafia gang's powerful Don. Now he does odd jobs at the Crowe Clinic, lost and full of ennui. He also experiences blackouts sometimes. During those blackouts, which tend to happen every few fogs, a monster with the same weird hairstyle as him goes around feeding, being reclusive, and denying any relation he might have to Doppio. It's probably nothing.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Marco needs to do Fourthie things, although I'm not quite sure what yet! As much as he still believes he's doing the right thing, he's extremely averse to conflict, and fundamentally, he's still afraid he might go off the deep end again. Which is on him and not on Elias, of course. He's excited about recent new followers, though, and I'm hoping the next month or so will give me a little more insight on what Marco could get up to next.

Doppio isn't quite there yet, but in November, it'll be a year since he arrived in Ryslig. Woohoo! He still hates it and is very lonely and despondent. There is a whole museum exhibit out there with compromising information about him, though, and lord knows what else he'll confess to during the current event, so... Slowly but surely, more tools to break through his walls are emerging. Or maybe it'll all just make him back down even harder? HOPEFULLY NOT.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: LORD UHHH. Let me mostly copy and paste these from the last CR meme! Again!

On Marco's end, there's his helpful nature, his fear of committing missteps or even just slipping in a way that clues people in to what's wrong with him (did I mention he has tons of internalized ableism? Honestly, he could probably use some friends with similar brain problems) and his stubborn refusal to wash his hands off of god matters despite being unwilling to engage in violence or anything exceedingly assertive. His behavior can certainly get on people's nerves, even loved ones, as it can sometimes feel like he refuses to stop being paralyzed - the dreamscapes back in June helped a little, but unfortunately he is very stubborn. Like I said, though, the talented new "friends" in the Arcade have him feeling optimistic.

And on Doppio's end, there's still so much I want to explore! He's still very attached to his life before Ryslig, not to mention clueless as to anything that may currently be or ever have been wrong with him - although all the pushback when he says he hasn't fed on people yet, as well as Javert's insistence that he attacked him, sure made him uncomfortable. He's genuinely good-natured, but at the same time, he can have violent mood swings caused by certain specific triggers that easily lead to turbulent situations. His growing distaste for the gods is sure to help with that, too. ALSO, crime friends might be nice? He still needs to admit he has... any friends whatsoever, but he's found himself feeling a sort of camaraderie with Majima!

ANYTHING ELSE: I joined another game recently, and while it's so chill that it's not actually cutting into my Ryslig time, it's probably contributed to my jitters a little bit, haha. I say this a lot, but thank you all so much for your patience! One day I'll figure out the balance between tagging at an engaging pace and not curling up into a little ball of anxiety every other week (although lbr, the fact that I haven't had therapy in half a year probably isn't helping either).

CHARACTERS: Shuichi Saihara
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Shuichi Saihara is a shy, bookish doormat and the former Ultimate Detective. Which basically just means that he was the very best high school level detective in his Japan. Though Shuichi himself would be the first to tell you he doesn't deserve that title. Assuming he even tells you about it at all because I actually don't think he's mentioned it to a single person in Ryslig? Former detective, yes, Ultimate Detective...not so much. It's kind of a sore spot for a lot of reasons. Anyway, he's pretty easy to get along with, mostly because he puts up with just about any treatment and he's a people-pleaser. Boy is just an endless fountain of patience and desire to help.
WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Next month he will be swapping permanently from shade to demon! He wanted to be a vampire, but you know how these Mana quests go. Sometimes she tells you to set yourself on fire and you do it but you still don't get what you want. He has to wait for a full moon, so I was planning on doing it on the first but google tells me that the 31st is ALSO a full moon so I might wait until that one instead? It's just going to depend (I'm in the middle of major repair work being done to my house right now and it's super stressing me out so my rp drive is just all out of whack so we'll see how long that lasts and if I need to delay swapping him.) He's also going to be attending the first aid classes at the school. Other than that, I have no real plans for him. He works with Jiro's hero agency as well and he may start working for the Lucky 38 Casino as well? I'm still on the fence about whether I want to have him make that switch or not. (Mostly because he's dating Kokichi and Kokichi is the manager)
SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: In general, he just needs more friends? Friends who are more outgoing than himself and will force him to go out and do things other than work or go to the library. ESPECIALLY people who can help him try/teach him something new. Without going too much into spoiler territory: Shuichi's been trying to discover more about himself ever since he came to Ryslig. So, to that end, he's been trying to branch out and learn/do new things whenever the opportunity presents itself. (Case and point: he's been cooking for Kokichi since basically day one and doing lots of research/skill honing to become better at that). I'd also kind of like to do some stuff with his shade powers before he loses them? But I won't be upset if that doesn't happen since there really isn't much time left before I swap him. Once I finally get to the event log, he's definitely going to be trying to short circuit at least one of those machines. If anyone has monster changes planned this month and would like Shuichi to do some pain theft, hit me up. Or if...you for any other reason have need of an intangible person before the month is over, also hit me up. I'm down for just about anything.
ANYTHING ELSE: I'm CST but I work from home so my tagging schedule is just kind of all over the place. I try to do at least one round a day, but lately it's been slower than that. Like I said, I'm right in the middle of home repair stuff and I have been trying to get that dealt with for TWO MONTHS now so like...yeah. I've been stressed so I've been slow. I'm sorry about that but hopefully things will be going back to normal soon. I also tend to get a little slower the last week or so of the month because that's when work gets really busy for me.

CHARACTERS: Ash Williams (kissmygrits) and Clint Barton (coffeepots)

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS:
Ashley J. Williams (yes, that is his full name) was just an ordinary retail worker before he decided to take a trip with his friends to a cabin in the woods. There, they found the research of the previous inhabitant recorded on a tape and an ancient tome--the Necronomicon ex Mortis, or the Book of the Dead. After playing the tape, an evil force awoke and possessed Ash's friends one by one, forcing him to kill them. Evil also managed to take over his hand, but he lopped it off at the wrist before it could spread. And then he took a trip to 14th Century England for a little bit so he could fight his evil undead double.

...Yeah, the Evil Dead franchise gets weird. But what's important to know is that Ash is a smarmy, sarcastic bastard with no thoughts bouncing around in that thick skull of his. He's impulsive and crude, and only cares about a few things in life--sex, drugs, and thrills. Because if he stops and slows down for even a second, he'll be forced to think about how truly fucked up the cabin incident was, and that's no good!

Clint Barton, on the other hand, is...a guy. He's Hawkeye! From the Avengers? He's the guy who shoots arrows at people. Some people might treat him as a joke, but you don't become an Avenger by being good--you have to be the best. And it just so happens that Clint is one of the best archers in the world, matched only by his mentee, Kate Bishop. He's an all around good guy who tries his damn best to Do Good, even if he has to resort to some underhanded tactics to do so.

Also, he's deaf. He currently wears hearing aids, but he's also fluent in ASL. He can lipread, too, but lipreading only has, like, a 20% accuracy rate in real life and half of the monsters in this place don't even have lips.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:
Ash is busy figuring out his own Shade changes, but he's also been hit by the truthsayer serum. I'll be putting up a network post later today where he apologizes profusely for his previous terrible actions and his actions at the cabin. Oops! It's gonna be one hell of a thing to recover from. Beyond that, he'll probably be throwing parties and doing all sorts of impulsive things in a way to distract himself.

Meanwhile, Clint is trying to adjust to being in a new world by seeking out more information on the Fog/Fourth gods and doing Vigilante Stuff...in a limited capacity, because all he's got right now is a bow and quiver he IOU'd from a weapons store. He'll be scouring the town for any evil-doing or shenanigans, so if you'd like to run into him that way, feel free to do so! Next month, he'll be turning into a werewolf. Perfect for a dog person like him.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
I'm interested in both negative and positive CR for my boys! Ash tends to be a bit annoying and antagonistic towards...well, everyone, so it's more likely to be negative with him, but he does appreciate people who know how to party. Clint would appreciate a buddy who can come shoot arrows with him and chat, but if you wanna learn ASL from your friendly neighborhood Hawkeye, Clint's your guy. I'm open to anything else, as well!

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Eridanus is a morally grey villain that (is becoming) a lot less morally grey. His typical cool and level-headed demeanor has changed one of irritability and quick anger, where his serious nature can easily coin flip into bloodthirsty hostility.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Eridanus will be settling into his new job at the Devil's Nest in Djavulenstad as resident bookkeeper and financial director. He is also becoming a lot more fog-leaning in his views and might be more susceptible to any manipulative conversations that may push him further into that direction. Besides that, he is also going to be adjusting to... separated... life?

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Like I said, Eridanus is starting to become more fog leaning in his views. He is also becoming rather bloodthirsty in his sadomasochism. I am interested in scenarios that either further push him into his mental breaking, or if any do-gooders would like to take a crack at trying to stop all the wanton murdering Eridanus has been doing (tho not sure how much people care about humans).

ANYTHING ELSE: I don't have any triggers personally, but I understand if you do. I have more information about possible triggering subjects in my opt-out for Eridanus. Ultimately, I would like to branch out and get more CR. I have been keeping to my bubble and I'm hoping to put my old man out there a bit more. TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS:
Hawkeye is Ryslig's resident doctor and constantly reigniting trash fire. He runs the clinic in Bavan, and is the consulting physician there (he also offers psychiatry and psychotherapy despite being openly self-taught, make an appointment if you need!), and he's also taking the lead, along with Walter Strickler, on the new monster school, where he will be teaching biology and medicine, including first-aid classes for all comers. He's a traumatised alcoholic who largely copes through denial and humour, and also through playing up his easygoing playboy vibes.

Regulus is a Fog follower with a chip on his shoulder about how the Fog cult is run. He's also the owner of the Kit-TEA-Kat Café (they're hiring!). He's a very uptight, emotionally repressed, extremely English kind of guy, and has a lot of guilt about past mistakes, especially right now. He was a wizard fascist for his whole life but he's starting to move past that!

Bethan is an angry ball of trauma and neuroses who deals with all her problems by punching them. She's also a committed anarcho-libertarian and hates all forms of authority. This, along with the fact that what she values most is her family's wellbeing (and she knows they will miss her) means her prime driver in Ryslig is a. punch the Fog God somehow, b. destroy the authoritarian god state, and c. get the fuck out of here. She's also a mechanic and can be seen around Bavan on a modded-up motorcycle that makes way too much noise, or cannibalising wrecks for parts. she no longer sleeps on a rooftop but she kinda wishes she did.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:
Hawkeye is currently in the middle of a protracted breakdown about having killed a bunch of people while he was a demon. He's working every hour he can (also not sleeping, and regularly drinking at work for the first time because he went cold turkey a couple of months back and hated it so let's not do that again), and will pretty much only be found in one or other of his places of work. This does mean he's very available for plotting related to the clinic, or to the school. He's also on the outs with a lot of his friends thanks to his erratic behaviour over the past couple of months, so he may be looking to fill that void with casual hookups and drinking buddies.

Regulus is currently struggling a lot with not one, but TWO of his complicated family entanglements showing up. He's going to be trying to be secretive about some stuff he wasn't secretive about before - especially how he died, which he really doesn't want either Bellatrix or Sirius to know. I also want to ramp up his Fog activity, and he'll be trying to find a way to tier up again, as well as connecting with other Foggies who are not down with the Amanda and AM way of doing things. He'll be continuing to try and recruit new Fog followers, too, and expect a post about that on the network some time in the next few weeks! Also, Bellatrix is living in his Dyster apartment, so he'll be spending more time in Dyster for non-religious reasons. He's also at the café every night, working as both a manager and a waiter, so if you want to meet him that's always a good bet.

Bethan is working with Jiang Cheng to try and solidify some plans against the Fog God. Part of this will be about finding other people who are committed to taking the Fog down (and, again, I'm planning a network post once the event is over), but part of it will also be trying to hunt down people who've been here a long time and pump them for information. I'm also thinking she might set up her own chop shop/mechanic garage, because she doesn't actually have a job and is largely living off scraps.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
For Hawkeye, I'd love to challenge him with people who will call him out on his unhealthy and dangerous behaviour. I'd also really like him to pick up some girlfriends/one-night stands, because I feel like I've been underplaying how horny on main this asshole is. he has a literal magic penis if that helps.

Regulus is going to be very openly about the Fog, and I would really like to play with that, either with conflict from Fourth/neutral characters, or with people who might be interested in the Fog themselves. He's also likely to backslide on a lot of his character development with Sirius and Bella around, so characters either facilitating or working against that would be great.

Bethan... honestly, I just want her to have some positive CR. Which is hard, because she's dreadful, but I would love sympathetic friends and people she might actually listen to. I am also always down for people who hate her and/or people she hates. Bethan's constantly ready to throw down, so if you want your character to get beaten up or to win a fight and possibly do a murder, that can be arranged!

ANYTHING ELSE: All my characters have opt-out posts on their journals - please feel free to use them, especially with Bethan as she's basically a walking trigger warning for self-destructive tendencies and various mental illness related things. Hawkeye's alcoholism is also ramping up again, past "80s sitcom" level and into "psychological and physiological addiction with serious side effects" level, so please tell me if you don't want to deal with that in your RP.

CHARACTERS: AM godofthemachine
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: A genocidal supercomputer who hates humanity to unfathomable degrees. Is incredibly sadistic and likes to torture people. (Temporarily is the opposite due to the Truthsayer event in that he loves everyone SO MUCH.) Currently is a Fog priest and lives in a scary castle.
WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: ??? Existing I guess. His goal is ultimately to take over the planet, or at the very least the peninsula, and make it his playground. He is the Punitive Director of the prison, as well as the director of the second branch of Liewen Labs so he is very busy with both of these things.
SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Definitely want more positive CR. I love my negative CR with AM a lot, and obviously even the "positive" CR will still have negativity due to his hatred. But he does need more positive relationships or people he can commiserate with. Whether that be fellow villains or nice people he can pretend to be nice to, that's fine!

More people to torture and antagonize as well!

And idk like even though he is already a fog priest, maybe some kind of scenario that can further his goal of taking over the peninsula? I am so bad at coming up with these things lmfao

NAME: Nix
CHARACTERS: Angelica (decarded) & Lucius the Eternal (chemoscion)
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS:
Angelica is a young woman with a damaged soul—literally. Some years before her canon point, she died, and when her soul was damaged by the process of transferring it to an artificial body. As a result, her emotional affect is severely limited! There are a lot of other fun things in her backstory, like magic and an unbelievably oppressive home life and the Earth itself beginning to die, but in Ryslig, she's just a demon and a Foggy who wants to serve by helping her fellow monsters with their new lives.

Lucius is an immortal warlord over ten-thousand years old, and also one of the worst people you could possibly meet! Seriously, just no redeeming qualities whatsoever. He believes in absolute freedom and lives his life by just doing whatever he feels like, whenever he feels like it. He's also obsessed with the idea of becoming the perfect swordsman, so "whatever he feels like" very often means "challenging anyone with a sword to a duel"! In Ryslig, he is a manticore, and quite frankly you should all just be happy he's living in an apartment instead of roaming around as a literal murderhobo.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:
Angelica is mostly looking to get back into helping newbies, etc, now that she's here again! With that said, her psychological changes as a demon are also beginning to influence her more; she'll be more inclined to indulge in physical vice, as a way to fill in the space left by her broken emotions. She has also discovered that feeding gives her a more normal emotional range for a short time afterwards, so she'll also be doing that more than she absolutely needs to!

Additionally, for the duration, Angelica is very bubbly and also very open about her history and mindset, so if anyone wants to hear her talk way too freely about her terrible background, let me know!

Lucius has no particular plans, because that's just how he is. Mostly, he's been spending his time trying to push others toward living a more "free" lifestyle, as he sees it, and will continue to do exactly that for the foreseeable future. In the fallout of the event, he'll also be dealing with the unfortunate circumstance of his source of easy income being taken away. How awful for him :(

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
I'm mostly looking for more CR with Angelica, in general! She's a very stoic character and a bit hard to get to know; as such, I'm particularly looking for other characters she'll be able to relate to regarding loss of personhood, terrible family dynamics, etc, and characters who are just... a big contrast to her serious attitude. She didn't have a lot of significant CR when I dropped her last, so I just want to focus on getting her anchored within the game for now.

Lucius has had a lot of GREAT interactions on the network, and I'm really hoping I'll be able to bring those into face-to-face CR as well! I am always looking for more people for him to push, and for more people he can actually... engage with about Real Shit. He actually has a lot of very real thoughts on morality, even though his opinions boil down to morals being fake, and I think that's fun to explore!

Some other, lighter stuff I'd love to do with Lucius includes him learning the lingo that is hip with the kids these days, and also for him to have a stupid discussion with someone about the fake, ungrammatical Latin in WH40k's setting. (It's fine; it's ~High Gothic~.)

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Still a relatively new to being a human with his own heart, Roxas is learning all about emotions and other things people do. Once a Nobody, he's used to being a non-human, so this whole turning into a monster thing isn't as scary as it would be for others. He's a tiny tank, extremely loyal, has a bad temper if pushed. Loves fun but can be more of an observer at times if he's learning something new about someone.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Being a were-woof. Making new friends and running around a lot.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Roxas is going to remain firmly neutral in regards to the Fog God and the Fourth, but will listen to people ramble about why he should join. And still not join. Werewolf things would be fun to do as well. He's about done with his changes and trying very hard to avoid eating people even after being here a few months... CHARACTERS: Fiddleford McGucket terribibble & Faith Less buttplugin

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Fiddleford has been in Ryslig for four years. He's been through a ton of development in that time, evolving from an anxious and paranoid man to an anxious and paranoid man who's learned to weaponize his fear and make it work for him. Turns out dying a ton of times really changes your perspective on what's worth being bothered about. He's more or less completely naturalized and no longer thinks of himself as human, and he's happier that way because he knows his canon future and it sucks ass. His hobbies include playing the banjo, designing robots, gardening, and using phrases like "hang me up and call me laundry". Back in his universe he would have been celebrated as a tech genius if he hadn't started a cult and destroyed his brain.
Faith is a new arrival who hasn't even started changing yet. She was previously the shadowy genius puppetmaster behind global tech company Prune, who now has nothing to her name and no one who knows her except Larry Laffer. So, oops. She's severe, vengeful, a textbook workaholic, and was ready to do a murder way before Ryslig. She also basically invented smartphones, even if she never got the credit for it (and is still salty years later).
Essentially I have apped Steve Jobs but with a TWIST, twice.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Fiddleford has his finger in a lot of pies. Primarily he runs McGucket Labs, a workshop that started out doing appliance repair and which now has expanded into making games. He is also signed up to teach math, physics and home ec at Hawkeye's monster school. Finally, he co-runs the Haze with Lust and is responsible for pulling together the monthly newbie care packages and helping to distribute them.
Faith is settling in and getting ready to figure out what she's going to be turning into. She is currently pretty directionless after at least a decade of one consistent goal, so her schedule is wide open!

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Fiddleford has a lot to choose from, but I'm particularly interested in doing stuff with his monster home ec class! If your character would go please let me know and tell me if they'd need to come during the day or at night, since there will be classes during both times. I also want to do more Haze-organized gatherings like dinners, parties, movie nights, etc. The current ideas are a Halloween-adjacent movie night, and possibly a potluck around Thanksgiving. Let me know if you're interested in either of those. Faye and I want to get the Haze out there more in ways that aren't just the same bog-standard welcome post every month, which is boring for everyone.
Faith, like I said, has a wide-open schedule. I know once changes start I'm going to want the usual fun stuff like the 'what am I' guessing game, which will probably be a network post. She has never had many friends and isn't good at making them, so I'm interested especially in scenarios where she'll be forced to be around other people and interact with/work together with them.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Cassandra is the former lady-in-waiting to disney princess, Rapunzel, even though she didn't actually like being a LIW, or most people, she learned to love Raps. Intelligent, sarcastic, and adventurous all fit her to a T. Between helping her princess, Cass spent her time trying to prove she was more than what people thought she was. Either by joining the royal guard or more... spoilery actions later in the series. She's ok. Ok. She's been canon updated to the series finale and she's ok.

Now as a werebear, Cassandra's lived in Ryslig for over a year and a half, building a new life as a Private Investigator at Juno Steel's agency... and finding love with another disney royal. She still loves a good fight, hates the entire Fog/Fourth business, and struggles on occasion with retaining her human identity.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Currently in the process of taking over as the boss/owner of Juno Steel Investigations, plus taking whatever cases come to her. Besides sticking her head in her work to try and ignore all the truths she blabbed about, Cass loves to spend time at Solsikke castle, usually in the training yard.
SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: makes a vague sweeping motion with my hand

Positive CR!! Other monsters that come to her with cases to investigate, neutral parties she can talk to about the whole god nonsense. Heck, she might raise the idea on the network of teaching people how to properly sword fight in the future.

And negative CR too, of course. Cass is a good person, but she can also be hotheaded and competitive. It's not out of the question that she'll end up arguing with you over something, or acting in a way that may lead to a fight if she's in a bad mood. To that end, she'll probably apologize for how she acted, eventually.

She went to an illustrious high school in Japan, became a terrorist and war criminal, survived a rehabilitation program that became a murdergame, and now feels bad about all the awful shit she did. Alice is/was a half-elf who became a key member of a terrorist resistance group (really sensing a terrorist trend here), though she was really just in it for the standing and the power she wielded rather than the ideals they stood for (which is a whole thing in of itself but isn't relevant). She's notorious for being a sadist, but her cute appearance and sugar sweet voice makes her a popular person, one way or another.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Living the dream!

I keep saying this month will be the month, but probably after the event/next month Sonia'll be picking up the Soup Kitchen again! Other than that, she's trying not to think about all the awful shit she did, and is trying to help out where she can.

Alice will be living her best life as best as she can! She ended up picking up a job with Mirage for all of three seconds, but she'll be kind of at a loss for what to do next after that more or less implodes. She's also gonna be interested in being more of a presence as far as Fog God stuff is concerned.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: The description says to not say "anything," as both need more CR (Alice in particular) but honestly... I'm down for whatever! Here are some suggestions/jumping off points:

With Sonia, there's definitely opportunity to engage with her, particularly when I get off my ass and do soup kitchen things again. Volunteering, donating, shooting the shit, you name it! Positive CR is easiest with her (one-sided or otherwise), since she's pretty good-natured overall and easy to get along with. But negative is always a plus, too! It's not often that Sonia legitimately despises anyone, so that could be fun. At some point she'll need to reconcile with what she did as a member of SHSL Despair back home, also, but... one thing at a time!

Like I said, Alice definitely is in need of more CR as a whole! Negative CR is infinitely easier with her due to how abrasive and her tendency to Cause Problems On Purpose, or positive CR with not-so-great people! I'm absolutely good with actual positive CR, as well, but she may not take it well initially. She's got a lot of trust issues and [John Mulaney voice] we don't have the time to unpack all that! Definitely interested in connecting with more Fog followers/plotting shit, or having fun trolling any Fourthies!

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
- Five's #1 priority is getting home. Info gathering will be a continuing theme, especially in regard to the following: time travel, quantum mechanics, The Fog God, and Mirage.
- Eventually I want him to ally with the Fourth God, so anyone willing to help clue him in on Fourth's existance would be great ... he's only heard of Fog so far.
- He's staying at the Lucky's apartments and has a bartending job (yes, thank Kokuichi) there, too, so it's an easy place to find him for casual CR.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: he was once the equivalent of a wandering priest in ancient china, but that basically fell to shit and he died and now he's here. now he's a mess in his own head, but also trying to stick to the core values that have driven him all along (protecting those weaker than the self, putting good into the world without asking in return), most of which fundamentally goes against the entire concept of being a monster. he's also like, learning again how to properly be a person and to make friends instead of allies and to joke and tease with other human beings, because for as much effort as he dedicates to being independent and never imposing, a boy's kinda lonely.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: getting accustomed to his werefox night form, moving his few belongings from his temp bavan apartment to his new mana-granted place in the woods, and generally kind of... looking for his niche through which to do some good, somehow. jiang cheng also has him starting to write down all of the shit the pair of them have collectively learned about the place, the gods, etc., since it's becoming A Lot, which jc has icly mentioned making available to allies in some form but idk how that's gonna work yet.

CHARACTERS: Jongdae Lee ( itsjiaheng ), Traejan Lightrend ( auriphrygiate ), and Wei Wuxian ( yuanqi )
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS:
Jongdae Lee is an annoying kid who communicates best in memes but unfortunately he has none of those here. He is a harpy and a cockatoo-based harpy to be specific, so he adds loud bird to the mix. He knows basically nothing about his world or this one ( on account of spending most of his time in a lab ) and has all sort of fun traumas to go with but lives in a state of denial, such as insisting that he has never eaten a people! He has, but doesn't have waking knowledge of this since he does all of that unaware / in something of a fugue state.

Traejan Lightrend is an absurdly tall elf who thinks he's better than you. The tallness and the arrogance has only been compounded by the fact that he is a gargoyle now. He has joined the Fog although he has not been super vocal about his allegiance as of yet. He also used to be undead and did plenty of killing and people eating before he got here, so he is thriving! He also likes booze and explosives.

Wei Wuxian is a cultivator, so if you are familiar with Jiang Cheng or Xiao Xingchen in game Wei Wuxian is from... almost the same world as they are. He comes from a different version of their world where he was one who created Demonic Cultivation which is for all intents and purposes fancy necromancy. He died kind of a nasty death there and has been brought here in the last cycle and pasted back together by Fog Mom.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:
Jongdae has started a courier service for delivering old-fashioned snail mail letters and packages to people as well as offered to tutor people in Basic Internet 101 for all those Olds who suck at using the network. Feel free to say he's delivered something for your characters in tags! Unless of course the recipient intends to kill the messenger in which case let me know if you wanna do something. ;) He is also moving in with Peace and is just going to be dealing with life where he has to live with and around other people more than he's used to. He may also continue to collect parental types and is quietly on the look out for cute guys around his own age.

Traejan will likely be seeking ways to get more involved with things here, especially with other Fog followers. My eventual plan is to see him shift his goals from "I want to get home and all my dedication and power seeking is to get home" to being more focused on what he can do and attain in Ryslig. Which.. will be a process but he will need ways to get him invested in what's going on because for the most part he's been able to coast by without too many ill effects thus far.

Wei Wuxian is new so he doesn't really have friends or goals ( or enemies ) yet! So far he's mostly been dealing with his own drama ( see: Jiang Cheng haha ) but he is a very outgoing dude and will probably be sticking his nose into everything. He has not yet ventured onto the network yet but... Soon™.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
Jongdae could always use more friends, moms, dads, potential boyfriends, etc. lmao. He does have a trusted friend in Peace but they only very recently have gotten to the point where they have talked about their respective histories but it was awkward and he didn't want to go into any details. It might be nice for him to eventually have someone else he could grow to trust enough to get to that point.

Traejan also needs friends! But also negative CR is good! He is shitty and loves murder and destruction and he's greedy but even worse because he's a gargoyle so his greed is turned up even more. Please fight him! Or be his friend and enjoy murder times or be his friend and actually have nice times — it is possible! I am open to a lot because as I mentioned I am trying to have his focus shift to Ryslig-centric things rather than his old life. The Fog is not his first time playing for questionably cult-y teams and he was extremely ride or die then so there is a strong possibility there to see that happen again~

Wei Wuxian is still brand new so he has a lot to learn ( and accept really poorly haha ) about Ryslig. He's not very happy with the Fog God as a concept right now but he has way more questions than he does grievances considering how he got here but in terms of CR I am very open to anything!

ANYTHING ELSE: All three of them have potential content warnings for backstory things ( murder, suicide, abuse, etc. ) and all of them have opt-out and permissions posts on their journals. If there is anything you'd prefer to avoid, let me know!

I am also doing better lately with my tagging than I have in previous months since as of writing this I am about 7-10 days behind only because I have been swamped with work since we came back from the holiday ( like 12+ hour days tryna troubleshoot code bugs ) and thankfully not as a result of bad brain weasel situations. TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS:Tarkin is, in short, a lawful evil menace with an absolutely beastly philosophy on maintaining law and order through fear. In a world with evil space wizards, he’s responsible for some truly awful things. And he’s not even a space wizard! (That being said he did count the evil space wizards among his friends and coworkers.)
WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: So, due to some current shenanigans he’s gonna be missing an arm and will be extra grumpy for a wee bit. He’ll also have some stuff to deal with after getting hit hard by that personality flip and the torture. And by ‘deal with’ I mean he’s going to completely repress everything because he’s not really interested in (or capable of) positive growth. He’s very secure as a galactic dumpster fire. If anything that whole thing just reiterated his ‘live like a beast’ philosophy. Because he felt AWFUL for a whole week and then he was tortured! Having emotions? Disgusting. Never again.

• Aaand he’ll be going through his first round of monster puberty next month! It’s going to get nasty. If my plans work out, he’s going to start getting the munchies for people. And his mouth is gonna get a little weird.

He’s here! He’s not necessarily charismatic, just good at appealing to the worst in people. This includes making people want to kick his ass.
I know he’s going to end up Fog aligned sooner than later but if any Fourth followers (or otherwise) want to help build his belief that the Fog is the way of the natural world and that the Fourth is an abomination, hmu. I’m at Stanwick If anything about this awful old man catches your eye.
ANYTHING ELSE: No triggers on my end but I gotta say Tarkin is nasty and his TWs involve child abuse, torture, genocide, and the general evils of fascist bureaucracy. (In space.)

On a personal note I’m dealing with some wack side effects from a tick attack. So I’m more or less stuck on my ipad at the moment, which is a huge pain. Side effects include Hand Problems that can delay tags but braces and splits are helping a lot. I don’t have much of a consistent schedule because sometimes my body just decides it’s time for sleep.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: She was in a Star War. TL;DR she's just barely a Jedi and is Palpatine's granddaughter, and used to be part of a Force-dyad with Kylo Ren, but now she doesn't have the Force and she's a minotaur just trying to get the hang of doing minotaur things. She's trying her best to hold onto her ideals and her sense of hope.
WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Finding her place in Ryslig. Trying to cope with turning into someone who has to eat people. Apparently gathering a bunch of Nephilim friends. Doing some Jedi-training with Obi-Wan.
SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Just more and deeper CR, more connections to people in the community. I'm always up for throwing her into some heart-wrenching awful stuff if the opportunity arises. Conflict is great! Right now she's in a super weird place where she could be pushed more firmly toward the light or deeper into the dark. I want her tested!
ANYTHING ELSE: My tagging speed is all over the place; some days I can boomerang, but I've got two small kids that make a schedule pretty hard to pin down. I'm on EST and tend to go to sleep around midnight but I can tag kind of whenever I get a chance. No major triggers, but I'd appreciate a heads-up for child or infant death mentions bc those kinds of things stick with me and I don't want to be blindsided by it.

Once Tarkin finds out who she is he'll definitely be curious. Sheev was a friend of his (which is absolutely wild) and he comes from a lineage and culture completely obsessed with generational teaching so he might want to poke around and test her to see if she’s worth his time.

Also he’s going to be feeling VERY petty about Obi Wan and will be happy to wedge himself between him and a student again, even if he’s not offering Jedi teaching and is more in the business of bastard training.

REIRA - Small child comes to monster land and grows into brattier, poorly moraled child; to be precise she's gone from a non-verbal 7 year old to a pretty bouncy 12 year old! Heart's in the right place, just also has some messy ideas about what's alright thanks to where the setting is. One of the 4th God's Priests. Goblin.

NOA - Dead kid gets preserved in a computer, becomes omnicidal brat. Get's better though. Came to Ryslig 5 years ago as well, and since his entire arc in his show focused on the fact that 8 years in a computer does not an adult make, he's treated as going from 10 to 15 (he turned 15 this month!), rather than being older than that- though he might bring up the 8 CPU years as a reasoning for the uncanny intellect. Or just as his reason for hating the 4th God who...is basically him during that time but with More Power. Yikes! Runs Bavan's Liewen Lab Branch, the Newbie Tables, and is a Priest to the Fog God. Manticore.

JONATHAN - Extremely gold-hearted victorian has to punch his vampiric adopted brother in the face with sunlight power; he failed, whoops! Jonathan came to Ryslig just about a year ago, and is currently a demon; he's neutral (and will very much stay that way), and over all tends to be just a Bit Too Trusting of the good in people, which...can be an issue, but given he can also haul five guys across a rugby field at normal strength, he makes it work. Currently staying with his wife (a weregooswolf), and also now a soon to be slime child, in Bavan!

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: I need to do tag-outs on the event, and actually openly invite people to ask for me to do so here if they want- or even for me to write them a custom top, as for reasons I'm putting down under 'anything else', I am Prrrrrrobably not going to be making top levels this event whoops!

That said after the event, Reira will be making a post about Halloween Costume ideas. Neat! Jonathan will be meanwhile trying to fix up the other room in his apartment, and uhhhh Noa will probably be hiding in his desk. For a year! (not really)

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Currently I'd love to branch out into some new CR- negative CR with Jonathan could absolutely be interesting, but I hesitate to ask specifically for it with the other two since their alliances and attitudes kinda make that happen naturally with plenty of ease Anyway. On a separate note, there's negative CR and then there's Awkward CR, like the kind that gleefully tells you to try climbing a deep fryer... (Which is to say, I love that kind of CR, and openly invite it)

ANYTHING ELSE: OKAY SO as people have likely noticed, my tags slow up real big during my current work week; and this is something that's always been the case for me on days surrounding long shifts, it's just, now I have a series of long shifts and also...my schedule doesn't line up with too many people for boomeranging. So if folks could just be aware that for about four days of the week, top levels are a crapshoot and tags are one-per-day-at-best whether I have 5 threads or 50 going, I'd super appreciate that!

Basically it's evenings EST from friday through sunday night where I'll be tagging back more repeatedly. (Plotting is easier then too, but plotting can happen at any time really. Feel free to add me at plurk on that note! usagisquared)
