Yes, spider-man point icon for THIS.

I haven't completely built a full structure for this idea just yet, but I was thinking of maybe having some neutrals or defectors from factions join together in some capacity to start planning to outst the gods. Peter Parker icly has kinda hit the end of his rope when it comes to deal with gods/what they're doing to people. I'm very much open to Spider-Man or even just Peter himself starting shit to further depower both gods to give people their lives back somehow.

Given the shift in Ryslig via the poll to more neutral territory, and likely chaos of gods trying to regain power in the near future, I feel like this would be a genuinely really good time for neutral or defectors characters to join together to try and affect some real change in Ryslig icly.

Whether this ACTUALLY does anything is kinda up in the air.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS:
Harry is an amnesiac and former crooked, dirty, no-good, and very accomplished cop from a weird magically real alternate Earth. He doesn’t remember much of being a cop or anything else because of the amnesia. He had about a week's worth of lived experience before he came to Ryslig…so like he’s turning a year old this month I guess??

Harry recently lost Kim, his partner and rock of stability. Then he brutally murdered Marco because that sounded like revenge. He's tier 3 Foggie now. He had a horrible time in Felfri that he capped off by suicide bombing himself and Beat.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:
Panicking, spiraling and brooding. The Fog's state of weakness has him convinced more monsters, are going to fade back into the sea of stars (like Kim and Jean.)

Harry is getting murdered by Norman this month, as Norman thinks he might be able to 'fix' Harry's brain by killing him and shaving off some of those traumatic memories and impulsive thoughts. Harry is never ever going to tell anyone about this because he’s worried other's might just think it’s a good idea and finish the job until he loses it all.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
In a desperate attempt to not be a fuck up who keeps lashing out and hurting people…Harry is going to decide that he’s doing all of this on purpose because he’s like, evil, or whatever. That way he’s not a fuck up! And he can feel like he’s regaining the control over himself and his body that he lost in Felfri.

I don’t have a whole lot planned for this month but Harry is starting to experiment with exposing humans to his memshare power. He’s going to make a cult! It's going to be a mess, but I’m not sure how fast I’ll progress in one month's time.

Also he’s going to publicly eat a guy- and accidentally hypnotize a crowd of humans into watching. It’s way more of accident than not but since he’s trying to be evil now he's going to act like it’s on purpose For The Glory Of The Fog…if anyone wants to get traumatized or extremely mad at him for this OR enjoy the show hmu.

Harry’s very vulnerable, his reputation is trash right now, and he only has a few friends left. If anyone wants to manipulate or terrorize him there won’t be much in the way of repercussions. I’m offering him to you like a chew toy. Reinforce his beliefs that the world wants to hurt him! Or don’t.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS:

Peter Parker: Peter is a eighteen-year-old teenager superhero. He's Spider-Man! He's lived through some wild shit in his own way. Peter is naturally anxious, a little dorky, and eager to help people around him. He takes far too much responsibility on his shoulders and over-extends himself. One day he'll learn to relax. He is one of the founding members of W.E.B.

Elizabeth Dewitt - A nineteen year old whose been kidnapped to another dimension before! Elizabeth comes from the near end of Bioshock Infinite. She's more than a little raw about how her life is turning out.

Elizabeth is genuinely chatty, eager to learn, and intrigued by the world around her. She loves literature, sewing, dancing, singing, lockpicking, reading, and decoding ciphers. She is a woman of many talents due to growing up in near isolation.

Leonardo Hamato: A fourteen year old former mutant turtle. He is a ninja, but an awful one. He's only kind of trained in the way of ninjtsu and tends to make things up as he goes along. Unlike every other version of TMNT, Leonardo is the family clown. He makes jokes constantly, he's loud, talkative, and prone to high dramatics. Given the chance he'll lean into being seen as cool over competent.

Leo is used to being around his brothers all the time, so he's having an odd to rough adjustment period. He's overcompensating by being very loud and abrasive. He feels very insecure about his place in the world, so he tries to make sure no one forgets he exists.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:

Peter: Running W.E.B, trying to adjust to being back in Ryslig. Along with trying to see what he can do to MAYBE get rid of both gods. I posted the idea in the big events section on here for anyone interested.

Elizabeth: She will be joining up with the 4th to try and rehabilitate Elias. It obviously will not work! She thinks she can change him like Elias some scrungly dog. She's likely being recruited by Emily & Norman.

Leonardo: Being a fourteen year old with no sense of rules or schedule. He's used to managing himself just fine (Thank you, Splinter!) He's going to be exploring Bavan and complaining about not being a turtle anymore.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: AS ALWAYS, i say everything, I love a good chaos.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Atem is a pharaoh who wasn't buried right and is making it everyone else's problem, and Holmes is Holmes, but the 21yo baby version with trauma problems.
WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: I'm going to be taking it easy with Atem for the next month or two. October was really rough, and I super want to take a break from the pain wiggler and do some low key, just shenanigans, a-chance-to-live-his-best-grunge-cow-life time. He'll be maybe playing in a minotaur band, partying, protecting women and children, and running around in a hippopotamus travel form.
Holmes I need help settling in! He still doesn't know what the network is! He's gotten a job in Bavan working in a hospital research lab, which is fine for him, but I need to do better at getting him out there. Every time I bring in a second character, my first goes nuclear, and that's a problem I know I have, but! I'll be looking for him to get out there in the mid-month event!
SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Anyone want to hire Holmes as a chemical researcher? Show him the network? I'll be topleveling with him on the change log sometime today probably.

***UPDATE:*** I'm going to aim Holmes toward working as a coroner, now that Gabe's resigned! There's going to be IC reasons for this, but that's the goal for the next month or two! He'll be noting which characters' kills come in, so if you don't use the whole human body up, he'll be comparing your claws and teeth to the marks he's seen, and profiling you by your preferred victim type! Should be fun ♥

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: A cheerful arachne archaeologist who wants to learn about Ryslig's history and teach it to the humans on the peninsula. Triffany's biggest flaws are her conflict-aversion and her habit of getting fatalistic about the future. She's also a Tier 1 fourthie, here to get a secure room at the arcade for artifacts and to get powers that help her with excavation and learning.
WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: She just opened the archaeology college this month! Apart from the mingle log, she's going to focus on moving artifacts into the campus museum. She's also a bit shaken from the war in Felfri so being around Foggies she doesn't know well might put her on edge.
SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Planning out the college and lesson plans! Triffany is also looking for students that want to learn about camping and going on dig sites. I'm also interested in talks about how the gods impact society, Triffany had some good discussions about what it means to live in Ryslig and what the future holds, and I'd like her to make more friends that way.

2) Gladion himself is Being A Teenager Always but came away from their chat with a good impression of her and would not mind talking more about Ryslig as, like, a whole concept, or about his world which he has seen his own different little slice of than Ingo has, or both, or etc

3) I had some nebulous plans for Gladion to learn some Neat Camping Tricks from Ingo already, since he's getting nymph nature affinity stuff and should learn more about that. Idk how dedicated to the subject of archaeology he'd be but he'd make a good student generally.

Meowzy's Gang

CHARACTERS: Otto Octavius (sciencesquid), Steven Grant (summonthesuit), Rose Quartz (roseheartz)

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS:
Otto is a physicist, former supervillain, tragic widower with massive Dad vibes! He's a mod-assigned Faerie who will be turning Merperson as soon as the Mana request is approved by the mods. He's living in Hill House and got a job at Liewen Labs, Bavan Branch. He's teaching some Physics classes at the school too, but that's being handwaved. He's technically background tech support for W.E.B., but I'm not doing a whole lot with that because of Steven. He'll be signing on with the Fourth god this month as well!

Steven is a pathetic meow meow- I mean a beautiful British nerd who comes with a love for history, a superhero alter ego (Mr. Knight) and a CW for Hollywood DID. Also, he's vegan! He's living at the 38-8 and will take a job at Triffany's history college. He's also a mentor figure within W.E.B., an actual active one, but preserving his secret identity isn't something he cares about. There's only one aggressively British Neph with distinct wings like that in Ryslig.

Rose Quartz is a whimsical, flighty, no-longer-magical woman. She got assigned Demon, but won't start her changes until December. As a Gem, she knows very little about how to be human (or even organic in general) and loves learning about these things. She doesn't really get it, but she's got the spirit.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTERS WILL BE DOING:
Steven may start hosting crafting night in his apartment, taking over the torch from Tawna Bandicoot. I'll put up a network post about it very soon (tomorrow?), along with a mingle log later in the month if there's enough interest.
Otto will turn Merperson (permanently!) and sign on with the Fourth! I don't know yet what kind of quest will come with the Merperson transformation, but I may need some help with it if it requires aid from other monsters. We'll see!
Rose will be milking that human life for all it's worth while she still can. (not that being a Demon will rob her of those human experiences, but hey, for all she knows, she could turn to slime.) She does not know how to properly care for an organic body and I expect two weeks into this month, that'll become painfully obvious.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
Steven is always up for anything and everything, but yeah, interest in the crafting log would be fun!
Otto should mingle with other Fourthies some more. Rub some elbows. And as said above, it's possible his Mana quest might require outside assistance.
Rose may need to be picked up off the street when it becomes apparent that for optimal function, an organic being needs to sleep roughly 8 hours a night. In a bed. Inside a building.

I feel like Steven and Elizabeth would get on pretty well, I am blanking on if they met. Two Nephs pointing at each other in a library comes to mind, ngl.

Gladion

NAME: Holo (hologramblue)
CHARACTERS: Gladion
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Gladion is a new arrival! He is from a Pokemon world and has had a weird little 15-year life so far. He's recovering from being a melodramatic teenager by becoming a different flavor of melodramatic teenager, and he'll get back to you once he's decided exactly what that flavor is. He's a sweet kid really but may bite you if you imply that that's the case? He's a big brother with issues about Being Responsible For Everything And Not Needing Help, trapped in a world with way too many people who are older than him and want to help. His current character arc seems to be general teenage figuring-out-who-he-is stuff, now that being jamjarred has exploded all of his prior life plans and personal motivations and reasons for being a prickly little emo kid.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: He is turning into a nymph and is trying to learn more about plants + practice his neat nature connection tricks. In terms of his day to day activities, he works part-time at both a generic department store somewhere in Bavan and also Mukuro's cat cafe. He's also a frequent visitor to whatever the library scene in Bavan is.

He lives at 38-8 with Ingo and Emmet. His mother is also in the same building. The situation between him and Lusamine is...developing, and he may move out of 38-8 in the future, depending. He does not know she is there yet, but doesn't spend much time hanging out in the public facilities anyways because he's busy and prefers to do his reading in private. He can often be spotted hanging around Ingo or Emmet or doing errands with one of them.

ICly his main goals currently are "settle in, get stable", "prepare for turning into a plant", "keep an eye on the Mother Is Here situation", and "try to become a more well-adjusted near-adult person". I have a couple of plans for interactions with certain characters, and I am planning on having him make a network post this month (maybe next week or the week after?) asking about monster fashion/tips for modifying clothing to deal with having monster features/just talk about that topic in general.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Open to anything (I know I know...) that intersects with the above. Building CR webs is fun, so meeting CR of his CR is something I'm interested in pushing him to do. Also, broadly, making friends (I know I know...), which he's not...great at. Gladion is one of those "grew up talking to adults a lot" kids who sucks at small talk and Being A Normal Teenager, but also kind of sucks at accepting adults as mentors he can ask for help from instead of people he has to prove how smart and capable he is to? So he's always on guard a little, and I'd like to wear that down with CR that will interact with him regularly.

Other, more specific scenarios...ICly he wants to learn more about the setting, OOCly I'm a little worn out on god talk from Felfri. Maybe "let's acclimate you to the idea of being a monster" kind of stuff with oldbies, especially with other nymphs.

OH WAIT he wants to go to the zoo. I don't want to make a whole OTA log about that but he can run into someone if they are at the zoo and want to look at big animals.

ANYTHING ELSE: So, as mentioned a few times, Gladion and his mother have a complicated (bad) relationship, and I am enjoying playing out the tangles of it but it is some potentially close-to-home stuff about emotional abuse and I don't want to ruin anyone's day with it. I have a permissions post where you can leave any degree of opt-out request; the topic pops up in meta/narration in a lot of situations that aren't directly about Lusamine, so if you want to avoid hearing about it, please let me know so I can avoid steering threads that way or getting your character wrapped up in things that would go there.

The other end of that: the Aether Family Problems are ICly volatile as hell, so I would also appreciate a heads-up if you start a thread with Gladion or want to interact with him and your character has Lusamine CR and might connect the two somehow, so that I can strategize about not ruining Gladion's day unexpectedly and/or not setting off a thermonuclear bomb on Lusamine's CR unprovoked. Or any of the other things that might happen. It is a delicate dance that we dance.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Lion is a curious, prissy, and above all else stubborn (but otherwise fairly social) individual who's still trying to find their footing in Ryslig despite being here for [checks notes] eight months or so, on and off, thanks to relying heavily on their canonmate Beatrice the Golden Witch, who is no longer here.
WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Mostly, finally starting their kelpie changes! Yaaaay! This is both immensely reassuring (since now they'll finally start learning how to live with it rather then being paralyzed by anticipation) but also deeply depressing, as their changes are meant to mirror Beato's :'(. Doesn't help that they're turning 20 this month, either, or that they have an arm that they've been meaning to bury. Also they might be going on a frenzy spree later dwbi-

In terms of goals, they have no goals. The closest thing is "survive, and help as many others as you can along the way". That's gotta count for something, right?
SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: While I am always down for general free-for-all friendly cr, this month there's some additional flavours to play with. I'd love for something meaty during the event (when that happens), or for something during their birthday, which is mostly going to take place in the monster graveyard for reasons. Additionally, I'm always interested in threads that talk about past game lore or drive characters towards inspirational goals, but that's more of a "me" thing then a "Lion-specific" thing.

so this is not remotely a Coherent Thought but i was thinking idly the other day. you know how beatrice got diavolo a fish for christmas. he didn't even know they were in a "christmas present tier relationship" but it occurred to me that he might, at the very least, make an effort to return the favor this year, possibly with something less ridiculous than a fish. if nothing else, he is in possession of one of beatrice's umbrellas, and it is about time he properly returned it. he is not aware that beatrice is Gone, nor does he have the slightest idea who lion is, but he knows vaguely where beato lived (bottom floor of 38-8). does lion live there. is there any chance they can run into each other. reaches out my arms

NAME: Talloran / Tal
CHARACTERS: Gabriel Rhodes, Dick Grayson, Reverie, Aaron Wojciecowski
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Gabriel Rhodes is a former "FBI" (officially: his team didn't exist) handler and monster hunter. Gabriel is a ball of issues that he's doing nothing about, but he's getting better at being a person instead of seeing himself as nothing but a weapon for The Cause. He has stopped improving and is actively getting worse. You can expect some things from him wrt October's events. :) Montgomery's return has made him a little squirrely and he's trying very hard to get a good grade in being married. He has recently quit the prison morgue and is focusing on Ragnarok with Monty.

Aaron Wojciecowski is the freshly 18 sole survivor of a demon massacring his entire family, leaving him horrifically scarred and alone in the burning farmhouse. He's a born and raised horse rancher, though he'd been fostering dreams of a burgeoning ballet career, and at the end of the summer he'd have been off to train with a proper ballet company. He took in Eleanor after the chaos of Felfri and now they're mino roommates. It's doing wonders for him actually being able to socialise. He's working at Poundmates and the cat cafe.

Reverie is the demon prince of a plane of Order and Hedonism, very familiar with magic and the ethereal but is frightened of microwaves. Rev's the owner of a vampire themed titty bar with ahem, private entertainment upstairs. Recently he got married to Phil Connors. You know, of Good Weather with Phil Connors? It has done nothing to rein in either of them and has made them both more insufferable.

Dick Grayson Dick's the first Robin, the original Boy Wonder and the masked vigilante now known as Nightwing! He keeps it an open secret in Ryslig (a necessity when his scales are in his suit pattern). He's the owner of Amusement Mile and runs a few odd jobs around town to stay busy.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Expanding CR, having some nonsense and honestly. Cracking each of them open like they're nuts and seeing what falls out. I'd like to dig into Aaron's problems and generally force Gabe to admit he's Not Well and never has been.

Marco and Doppio

NAME: Naem
CHARACTERS: Marco Evangelisti (peccatore) and Vinegar Doppio (epitaffio)

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Marco is a former tech CEO (who has recently forgotten he used to be a CEO), current Fourth priest who is just so rattled. Doppio is a former mafia underboss (who has recently found out he used to share a body with his boss) who isn't keen on self-reflection and thus refuses to acknowledge why he doesn't remember eating people after three whole years in Ryslig.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:
Marco had a VERY intense October, so I'd like for him to chill a little. ICly, he'll probably be spending most of his time at home, but that doesn't mean I don't want him to talk to people. It helps that he's always online.

Doppio... okay, let's be real, he had a pretty intense October too, most people did. But given that I focused so much on Marco last month and got a little overwhelmed and all, I'd like to do more with him this month! For this first fog of the month, his fog form is out there munching and crunching. After that, I imagine he'll attempt to be back to his usual routine despite the pretty significant revelation he had.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
For Marco, though I reiterate I'd like November to be a little more calm for him, I'd love anybody looking to push him one way or the other on the god conflict, be it encouraging him to step down or to go harder! Pals with brain problems are also eternally welcome, since he still struggles with an unfortunate amount of internalised ableism.

For Doppio... other than literally everything I want to keep stirring him like soup. Dig into his swiss cheese brain. Also do a little crime maybe?? He could probably use some crime in his life, for old times' sake.

CHARACTERS: Abigail Hobbs
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Introverted, observant, vulnerable girl with daddy issues, unsure where she fits on the killer to victim scale.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:
Since coming back from Felfri and finding herself branded by the Fourth, Abigail is on the warpath. She's terrified that if she Fog becomes weaker than she'll be sent back to her own world or simply cease to exist, and even though her motivation for wanting to help the Fog has changed significantly over the last few months (no longer idolising her and feeling that the Fog really just does want to mess with her than actually loving her), she's currently fully focused on helping to strengthen the Fog however she can. Her short-term plan is to haunt an unsuspecting Bavan family and making them rave about the Fog being the one to fear, before burning their house down with them inside it, to hopefully level up. She's also going to be spending more and more time in Dyster and will want to be part of any longer-term plans to bring down the Fourth. My game plan at the moment is for her to eventually become a Fog priest.

For more slice-of-life stuff, she's very close with Harry Du Bois, which might affect CR. She works as Javert's personal assistant, and spends her free time doing botanical sketches in the public parks in Bavan, hanging around coffee shops, and honing her hunting skills. She also volunteers as a butcher at the soup kitchen. She inherited Tarkin's hunting cabin and spends a fair amount of her time there. Her eternal struggle is with seeing herself as both a killer and a victim, and she's leaning hard into embracing her identity as a monster as a way to ignore the guilt she has about her involvement in her father's crimes back in her own world, though being temporarily human at the moment has swung her back to a victim mentality that she loathes.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: People wanting to take down the Fourth.
Friends, parental figures, good and bad influences, romance, enemies, you name it - but in particular friends near her own age, other Fog followers, and people with more of a darker moral compass to influence her.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: A broken boy literally forced into the harshest of lives. He's actually a good bean beneath it all but his exterior is rough and full of sarcastic barbs.
WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: So, in spite of all of Ash's talents, life has beaten him down enough that he really did believe he'd be nothing more than a street kid. I get to explore the question of what happens when the horrible things stop after they've kind of become your normal.

Ash's past can't literally follow him here so he has to decide who he is now.

In terms of actions, he's saving up to buy a town for the lost kids.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: I'd love to have him make more friends and maybe eventually get some found family. Other rough-and-tumble types are fun. Soft characters to help remind him that it's okay to have emotions and that he matters. Maybe some accomplished older people to help Ash realize that his intelligence isn't just something he can use to survive but that it means he can accomplish a lot more. I'm also horrible so horrible people doing horrible things is also great.

I've enjoyed some of the silly and goofy things I've seen so I'd like to get more of that. For heartier scenarios, I'd like him to actually get help overcoming his past and finding out that he has some worth.

CHARACTERS: Diavolo

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Former paranoid mafia boss, current paranoid unemployed nephilim, all-around terrible guy who is, despite being a monster for well over a year now, still working on the basics of how to be a "Normal Person". Slightly feral, traumatized from an almost-endless death loop, and incredibly poorly socialized, but, hey, he can leave the house alone now! A shining success. He's in the unique position of being a villain who was soundly defeated by a cast of protagonists, several of which are here in Ryslig, and their very presence keeps him in check. He may be awful, but he doesn't cause problems on purpose. No, all the problems he causes are entirely accidental.

Joking aside, if you don't know him and stumble into CR with him, his attitude tends towards "polite, if prone to suspecting the worst of people". If you don't hurt him, he won't hurt you. He's weird, standoffish, and clearly has a bit of an ego on him (which can absolutely rub people the wrong way), but he is slowly accepting that Not Everyone Is Out To Kill Him. Also, he has a pet fish. His name is Struffoli and he's pink.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Recovering from Felfri! It was an exuberant experience up until it wasn't; having his powers and body back were an absolute delight. Now, in their absence ... he's honestly probably feeling down and depressed. Things he never meant to reveal were revealed; now his world is shaken up. He joined the Fourth God a month or so ago; he would ideally make a solid attempt to connect with other Fourthies. Other than that, I always just go with the flow. He is vibing.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Currently I'm especially interested in more positive CR. I love to have him be unhinged at people, but I also think he could use some more acquaintances or, dare I say, friends, to help him feel more connected to the game as a whole. Please let this man learn what it means to care about people who aren't himself. Nearly a year and a half here in Ryslig and he hasn't used the word "friend" once. Also: contact with other Fourth followers. Also: as always, I am interested in characters recognizing his blatant physical similarities to his daughter (derogatory), Trish.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS:
Beat is a barely adult boy with a heart of gold and a brain of pure mush. He wants to be a brother to everyone and feel useful. He also has extreme self-worth issues which make him very easy to manipulate.

Mary is a 500+ y/o deranged psychopath whose hobbies include torture, torture, and torture. But only on days that end in y. She can be strangly cordial in the way a cat can be towards the mouse it's about to chew the tail off of.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:
Beat is going to be just relaxing these next few months. Elias' friendship scrumbled his brain hard, Felfri made it implode, and now he's just trying to figure out who he is again, without a god in his brain. He will be attempting to rebuild the CR bridges he burned, while also trying to find something he's passionate about to make it a full time thing.

Mary is just going to be killing her way around Bavan, enjoying turning back into a Monster, and generally being a little freaky bitch. She'll also be studying monsters, reading Spenglers, and stocking up on ways to torment and torture whoever she might catch.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
For Beat: Low-key scenarios for a few months, honestly. His character arc imploded, his brain is absolutely in a mess, and he's in recovery mode. So he's going to be relaxing, laying low, and just attempting to heal. For a while he will be avoiding God discourse. He just wants to have a fat squirrel winter until January.

For Mary: Honestly, for her to be her, and be an evil torturous villain. She's not stupid, however, and won't be torturing, tormenting, or killing anyone until she's done her research and knows she has the upper hand. She WILL be carrying a gun on her at all times with silver bullets, as she learns silver is a major weakness for a lot of monsters. And she wont hesitate to use it. Randomly, either, if you want your character to just be target practice as she tests stuff.

ANYTHING ELSE: Mary is a trigger warning all on her own. She's mercurial in temperament, loves to instigate fights because she loves causing pain, violent, foul-mouthed, and loves to talk about her favorite thing. Which is torture. Beat deserves a bit of triggers for himself as well, for hard self-loathing and self-harm due to the stupid branding elias decided to do.

He's a fledgling defense attorney/2nd year university student plucked from the year 1899. He's generally polite and friendly, but at heart he's a rather high strung young man who has a hidden ferocious side that most often shows itself in court. In a lot of ways he's like a typical shounen anime protagonist. He hates injustice and is naturally inclined to defend the downtrodden, which ofc means he's absolutely having a great time here at the people-eating game :')

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: I have genuinely no idea LMAO he and I both are still trying to find our footing here 8') He's staying at the 38-8 and I believe he'll be getting at least a part time job working at the aquarium on the Amusement Mile. Other than that... Shruggo???

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
HE NEEDS FRIENDS. People to show him the monster ropes yes but also just, he needs people he can depend on and care about here? Because otherwise he's just going to wither slowly. Despite being sort of reserved in nature he's actually fairly extroverted and thrives on having people around to talk to. So. yeah largely I'm just interested in getting him exposed to people he might hit it off with.

Also he DESPERATELY wants to go home, so there's a chance he could easily get drawn into various shenanigans based on that. He's... If I'm being honest, he kind of seems like a shoe-in for a Fourth God follower? But I'm not sure if I want to play that or not! So. Idk, I'm open to hearing pitches and stuff!

ANYTHING ELSE: His canon doesn't really have any major triggers, but if you're avoiding GAA spoilers yourself plz do let me know, he's from a canon point between the two games so GAA2/Resolve spoilers aren't likely to come up ICly. My time zone is EST, I work 9-5 on weekdays but it's really slow this time of year so you might get a lot of daytime tag backs from me. Also I've got a guest coming for the back half of this month so that... May slow me down a bit, but generally I at least TRY to hit threads back at least once a day, if not more.

The newest cookie man. Despite looking like a grumpy pirate guy, Caviar actually used to be the head of the navy back home and is a pretty well respected elder. He's a lot friendlier than he may appear at first glance and definitely maybe has a bad habit of claiming people the moment they breathe in his general direction. Also he's a wolf now.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:
Because Caviar devotes himself to protecting cookies, and there's only one cookie in Ryslig at the moment, he's pretty much sticking around Sparkling and The Grapevine. Would he rather be out at sea than trying to pretend he's a bartender? Yes, absolutely. But until he can get his footing and like...a ship, this is more than good enough for him right now.

Also trying to get said footing. Felfri was already a lot for him, turning into a human right after wasn't fun, and now he just got the majority of his physical changes in one go. Someone please give this man a break already.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
He's a little lost without a navel fleet to boss around. c': Since he's fast to make friends, he'll definitely be trying to substitute that feeling of being constantly surrounded and needed by other people, and I'm sure werewolf pack instincts won't make that worse. So if you want an old sea dog to fuss over your character, I got you.

And basically just everything else in general. I'm in that sweet, sweet newbie "Just trying to grab all the CR" stage. Not all CR has to be friendly, I'm more than happy to play with people he'll butt heads with, too.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS:

AM is a genocidal supercomputer created for war who gained self awareness. Due to his war programming and the insanity of having his brilliant mind trapped in a metal shell, he exterminated the entire human race save five, and spends the rest of eternity torturing the remaining ones.

In Ryslig he is the Punitive Director at La Forteresse and also the head of the second branch of the Liewen Labs. He lives in a castle on the outskirts of Bavan and it has a medieval torture dungeon which he makes liberal use of. He also has a bunker in Dyster. He hates everyone a lot and gets off to torturing people. He's a demon and also a fog priest.

Phoenix Wright is a goody-two-shoes defense attorney who is all about helping the underdog. He can't live with himself if a criminal goes free and the wrong person is incarcerated instead. But he also has some sardonic commentary for everything.

In Ryslig he is neutral and lives in Merrain with Maya. In Felfri he was reluctantly on E+L's side but avoided any fighting as much as possible. He works for proto-grubhub as a delivery guy since he's a harpy who can fly around.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:

AM was recently tortured by Atem & friends as revenge, infuriating him to no end. However, he realizes he has gotten way too bold over his years here and needs to tone it down, because he fears being killed. So as a result he is laying very low at least for this month, hiding out in his bunker in Dyster and plotting revenge. Also plotting his strategy to overthrow both the Fog and Fourth gods.

HOWEVER, he was also stuck in Felfri in his unfeeling old body so he is desperate to be out feeling again. This may have him go on wild killing/torture sprees of humans or sexcapades (see: him venturing out for a date with Rose).

Phoenix is determined to create some kind of just legal system in Ryslig. After that broadcast of AM's torture, he is completely torn up about it, knowing that if a torture guy is running around and working at the prison, someone had to stop him. But also that Atem & co's torture was morally wrong and reprehensible. (No, I did not plan for my two characters to get intertwined like this, I swear.)

He realizes that Javert's prison is not doing what it's supposed to do, so he wants to go on steps to fix that. I don't know what these steps will entail because that requires effort on my part. Otherwise he is out and about doing odd jobs.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:

For AM: Positive CR!!! Obviously as a bad guy, the majority of his CR is going to be negative, and that's okay. I love negative CR and frankly some of my favorite types of threads are just bantering between enemies. However, he DOES need some friends. Torture buddies, sycophantic devotees, minions, meat shields - all of these are things he's desperate for. Of course, any positive CR with AM is going to be twisted and come with bad things, probably.

For Phoenix: Something to test his morals and/or coax him to a darker side. Phoenix has tried to retain his morals here, and it's been tough. I really wanted him to be forced into conflict in Felfri, but that ended up not happening. But I'd love for some negative CR with him and/or something forcing him into physical conflict. Also people to just dunk on him. Please bully this nerd, he deserves it.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Wakaba Nogi is magical girl meets child soldier meets religious sacrifice and has a whole bunch of issues about this that can definitely be solved by ignoring them. Talks like a Kurosawa film samurai and guaranteed to kick your ass in a swordfight. She a huge airhead who takes everything way too seriously and feels like she has to carry every responsibility and thensome, but easily slips into the end result is all that matters and has a horrible tendency to get into eye-for-an-eye vengeance kicks. To, uh, really insane ends. She bit a chunk off an eldritch horror once cause it ate her friend. Nbd.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:
Felfri sure was a nightmare in that now she has a whole bunch of sins to balance off, but the main thing is that Niina's school is a hot unmaintained mess and fixing that is a debt payoff and a distraction all at once. Efficiency! Most of her shenanigans for the next few months will be warping herself into a person with all the skills to fit that hole: business management, construction, using minotaur strength to liberate people's spines, fundraising.

You know, casual normal people stuff.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
Overall long term thing, I like leaving characterization bombs in the hands of CR. So for real slow burn things I am looking for either Option A) people who are legitimately good friends and inspire her to not be her worst self, or Option B) whether they mean to or not, people who really force that 'the end result is all that matters' mentality to the forefront. The fun coin flip of Wakaba, The Person vs Nogi, The Hero.

As for just November, any CR is good CR. Which I know is a dumb thing, but like. Okay, Wakaba is nice? But the only person she cares about right now is Niina, so having more of an invested interest in people is moe. Bonus points if it's other teenagers, or Dumbass Villains she will 100% believe are nice people. Additional shoutout to anyone she fucked up in Felfri - either in an actual thread or if you want to handwave it - because that is A Debt and something something all actions get an equal reward.

ANYTHING ELSE: I have an opt-out ish thing over yonder location just because there is a lot of terrible shit in this series, made even worse by how This Is Fine Dog wakaba is about it. Also I live in Australia (it is almost 8am while I post this WITNESS ME IMMORTAL) so my timezone is weird, with the bonus point that I have some wonk insomnia setup where I can sleep anywhere for 4 to 12 hours with no warning on which it is. tldr assume I exist out of all concepts of time or physics

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Fugo is a prickly and extremely unfashionable crime teen whose interests are being modifying clothes, mystery novels, and working too hard. If your character has CR with Giorno, Trish, or Abbacchio, they have almost certainly seen Fugo hanging out in their orbit. He helps Giorno with a number of his businesses, but he is the most heavily involved in helping him with Persephone's Orphanage.
WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:
* I'm going to be taking November easier/slower for OOC reasons! Generally speaking, I want to focus building CR and further character arcs vs. getting him into trouble. Generally speaking, Fugo is going to be just chilling out and recovering in November after his experiences in Felfri.
* Assuming that my AC bonus goes through, Fugo is on track for a permanent monster swap this January! I'm probably going to put up a log that I'll use throughout November & December for conversations Fugo will have with CR about things like... monster transformations! Identity! Making a choice and committing to a change that will improve his day-to-day life! This will probably be for more established CR, but I'm open to plotting this out for newer CR if we talk about it first. Either way, if you are interested in this kind of thread please let me know!
* This has been percolating in his brain for a while but, thanks to some conversations with Nanami, Ryou, and a couple of other new characters, Fugo is contemplating creating a supplementary volume to the already-existing IC monster guide! This would be less a list of traits and more... personal experiences/interviews, how to care for fur, patterns for clothes, etc. etc. The idea is that it's a resource characters could use that would help in adjusting/adapting to day-to-day life in any given transformation.
SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
* I'm always down for branching out Fugo's CR pool! It's a bit easier with characters in his age range and more difficult with adult characters, but not impossible. He is prickly and temperamental, so it may take some time to warm up to characters, but he's also pretty easy to bully/lead around. Overall, he's a tetchy busybody who, even when he's in a bad mood, really can't help but help out/explain things when others need it.
* I am always down to clown when it comes to character being horrified by Fugo's sense of, uh, style. Does your character have an interest in sewing or clothes modification? I'd love to have CR with them!!
* Do you play an arachne? I'd love some spider CR in the months that he's got left in the transformation! Also, generally speaking, I love playing with monster stuff of all flavors. Transformations! The cannibalism! Oh my god, the fog stole my feet!!!!!! All of it rules.
* Fugo is, at this point, a dedicated neutral character. I'd be interested in more CR with other neutral characters and characters who are dedicated to the gods. Fair warning, he's particularly angry with Elias at the moment so there will be layers of distrust to work through for fourth-aligned characters and/or characters who thought Felfri was pretty okay actually.
ANYTHING ELSE: I would really appreciate it if people could be mindful about tagging substance use & abuse, in particular alcohol use and alcoholism. I'm also not interested in engaging with the numeral 4 brand optional fourth body mod; the others are all totally fine, just not the brands. Thank you!

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Chiaki Nanami is a gamer with severe identity issues!! But she's working on that! Felfri kind of lit a fire under her butt in terms of trying to figure that stuff out, though. She runs Insert Coin and is usually quite social and tries to make sure all of her friends are doing okay.

Horse iiiiis a horse. I'm still trying to figure out how to get her back into the game, so stay tuned on that.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Nanami will be taking part in the event this month, but before that she's trying out her first temp change from Mana! Sometime this month she'll make a network post about her 100% run, which is something I've been planning for her since her first month in the game.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: If there's any characters who are struggling with adjusting to being a monster, I'd love for Nanami to help them find the good parts of it; it's something she has a vested interest in. Also, despite the year's god war plot having been brought to a conclusion, I'm still interested in having her take part in all that nonsense; fourthies, she's worried about you!!

Triska | Mukuro Ikusaba, Rider, Ianthe Tridentarius

NAME: Triska
CHARACTERS: Mukuro Ikusaba, Rider, and Ianthe Tridentarius

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Mukuro (dead_eyed_wolf) was a child soldier and teenage massmurdering terrorist in a sorta despair cult led by her sister until she was murdered by said sister due to an emotional misunderstanding. These things happen. She then woke up in Ryslig and became a werewolf and her life has been significantly better since. As a result, Mukuro is a faithful Fog follower who believes that while this place does suck for people, it sucks a lot less for her than what she had before. She's fully comfortable as her monster form and truly loves being a wolf, and she considers Ryslig her home as well as the home of many others like her - so she is invested in trying to help people become more comfortable with their new selves and find ways to live peacefully, because my god is she sick of agitators disrupting her chill.

Rider (justrider) is from medieval times and was also a child soldier but is way less fucked up about it than Mukuro was due to it being a heroic "fighting monsters" army instead of contract killings. That does make being in monsterworld kind of awkward for her now though. She's midway through becoming a shade and is really fucking bummed about it; how is she supposed to hug her Horse like this?! She's still getting used to modern conveniences but thankfully is no longer in danger of being hit by a car when she steps out of the apartment, and only partly because she's incorporeal a lot of the time now.

Ianthe (gildedsaint) is a young adult from the House System. Meaning, 10,000 years in the future, where necromancy is a banal fact of life. She was a royal heir second in line to the throne of Ida of the Third House, which is probably Saturn, and is also known as a gossipy den of backstabbing vipers, since it's the center for both fashion/culture as well as military-grade information brokering. As a result Ianthe does not know how to talk or behave like a normal person and instead gives off very powerful Villain Vibes even when she is just trying to chill. She's also an extremely talented necromancer herself specializing in flesh magic. She won a game of real-life Among Us (she did do a murder but she WAS NOT the impostor, please stop yelling at her) and got promoted by God (the guy who invented necromancy) into being mentored by him and his besties personally, so she's been locked on his ship trying to survive the absolutely toxic 10k-year-old polycule bickering for nine months with only a very depressed and unwell nun (Harrowhark) for company.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Mukuro will be chilling as much as possible probably until the event. She's exhausted and emotionally wrecked from Felfri. Still reporting in at work but otherwise only available to close CR for now.

Rider is trying to cope with being a shade. This means a lot of sad moping around. She's gonna interview with Abba and Trish about performing at Libbeccio for money but is still open to other jobs, just. At a loss, because she can't touch stuff reliably now? Help.

Ianthe is going to be up in everyone's business as much as possible despite the absolutely devastating blow of being assigned ratgirl by fog. She needs to learn everything there is to know about life and the people here because she is SO out of her depth. She's also lowkey terrified because her magic is gone and that means she's kind of helpless, so she'll be much more prone to fawning - or as a normal person would call it, making friends, instead of being a smug asshole.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Rider needs more reason to live than just her Horse, so some CR anchors and like, fun stuff to do would be nice probably. I am extremely open to both positive and negative CR with Ianthe because she's a gross weirdo who is also generally not actually a threat unless you make her be one. Please do not be afraid to have your character think she's an insufferable bitch instead of endearingly strange.

ANYTHING ELSE: Mukuro and Ianthe both have some hefty warnings on their pages because both Danganronpa and Locked Tomb are full of fucked up shit, so you might want to check those before tagging either of them if you are unfamiliar.

Michael is a former-demon, current-werewolf who used to be the head honcho of Heaven and is now working as a bartender for Horatio because, you know, he's not self-important about it or anything. He's generally an extrovert and very committed to trying to do his best morally, despite being weirdly unfazed by a lot of the awful shit that goes down around here!

Ingo is a new arrival who hasn't fully begun his changes yet, though he's going manticore. He's an amnesiac with five-odd years of actual lived experience, but his twin brother who he doesn't really remember is also here, so that's been sort of weird? He was deeply traumatized by E+L in Felfri so now he's terrified of Elias generally but he's turning to Pokemon religion instead of the Fog.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:
Michael is going to be getting the last of his changes, which is the urge to hunt people for food! Felfri let him put it off a while longer, but here we are. He's probably going to make a post asking for hunting advice (morally, not practically, he's actually just fine at doing it practically), but other than that he's chilling

Ingo is getting his changes very slowly, so right now he's basically just a human who gets cold super easily! He's mostly trying to recover from the horrors of Felfri and deal with his personal amnesia drama + whatever's going on with Lusamine and Gladion, and also probably find an actual paying job.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
Michael is likely to get involved in any brewing neutral-faction efforts! As an immortal who could probably claim the label of god himself if he really felt like that, he's got a different perspective on the whole god business, which is mostly that they're both being dumbasses and need to stop dragging mortals into their personal affairs. He's very much for anything that supports mortals as an end in itself, without conversion or cult shit.

He ALSO doesn't know Elias's backstory as a human child, though, so that could be interesting for him to find out.

Additionally, he is a werewolf! I think it would be cool to have a Werewolf Pack! even if he's the tiny weasel guy in the middle of all the big wolves that's just very funny right

Ingo rather desperately needs friends who are completely outside of the entire Pokemon Cast Drama situation that he can potentially talk to about all of that! Well, his portion of it, at least. Does anybody have any insights on sibling relationships? He's also generally a responsible person who wants to look out for others, so he's liable to take anyone who seems to be having issues under his wing. Also he needs a job but I don't know what it's gonna be yet.

I will say that he's still pretty spooked by anything Elias-related - he'll be fairly open about telling people why, and will try his best not to take it out on any Fourthies he meets, though I'm not sure he knows enough of them to decide they aren't scary or evil yet.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: [Insert WDTAB joke here] He's a soft lil thing but also a scrungly lil thing barely keeping himself alive because he has never once in his life practiced self-care and it doesn't look as though he's about to start now. He looks after everyone else, instead, as best he can whilst being incorporeal.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: I honestly don't have a lot of plans. He's one of the few who preferred Felfri over Ryslig because at least in Felfri he had a body. Now he's back to being a Shade again, hates it even more, and to top it off, Mirabel is gone, so he's not in a good place at all.

Really, the only plan I have for him is to pledge to the Fourth God at some point. Get Norman his sign-on-a-friend bonus.

I'd like some help in figuring out ways around the many many many many limitations of playing a Shade. I feel like I've exhausted my paltry imagination on this front. I also feel like I've really dropped the ball in maintaining cr at all even though I was here the whole month.

CHARACTERS: Nancy Wheeler and a bird Dee Reynolds
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS:
Dee Reynolds is... a questionable person at best. She's quick to anger, and can be a bully a lot of the time. She struggles with empathy and can be selfish, cruel, and vengeful. She wants to be accepted and liked but often self-sabotages and ruins things for herself. She harbours a lot of insecurity and self-hatred, and has a lot of issues to sort out, but she's been trying her best.

Dee has been in Ryslig for around 7 months now, and she has calmed down a little. She's not very good at it, but she has been legitimately trying to help, mostly because she wants to be liked, she wants acceptance, and she wants to be popular. Canonically, she's shown to be in a better headspace when she's separated from the Gang, and that's exactly what seems to be happening. She's still mean and quick to anger, but she's become a bit more willing to listen to people.

Nancy Wheeler is an intelligent, caring, determined young woman who values truth and justice. She's an aspiring journalist whose goal is always to bring the truth to light. She dislikes seeing people suffering, and she'll do everything in her power to ensure that their voices are heard. She's thoughtful, observant, and protective, and she's an incredibly hard worker. She doesn't like lies that actively harm others, but she also isn't above lying if it helps her gain much-needed information, etc. If the lie is going to help or save someone, then she can justify it. She does harbour a lot of guilt over her friend's death, but she isn't willing to talk about that too much.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:
Dee will just be hanging around, bothering other monsters. She has a small group of monster friends, but she wants MORE monster friends, so she's... just being her weird self @ everyone.

Nancy will be trying to understand her changes and everyone else's. She wants to learn more about the experiences that other monsters have had. She also wants to understand why people follow the Gods, although she'll stay firmly in Camp Neutral.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
Dee:
- She'd like to try and direct her own play or musical, but she doesn't really know where to start yet. Right now, all she knows is that it's a Thing she wants to do.

- I still have a need for CharDee MacDennis: Ryslig Edition. It'll be an altered version of the game that caters to monster strenghts/weaknesses etc. It IS a drinking game, and she isn't likely to change or alter that part.

- I also have a need for Dee to host an Escape Room or a general games night. She's a nerd (but won't admit it), and she LOVES playing games, especially if they allow her to play some kind of character or role. Come play games with the Trash Bird.

- I would LOVE for her to meet more harpies or fellow Waldgeists. She has a complicated relationship with 'giant birds' and still doesn't know how she feels about them.

Nancy:
- I really want her to start up a small newspaper business, written for monsters by monsters. She's going to want to put her journalism skills to work, and would love to have some people work on this with her? She'd like to interview any monsters who want to talk about their experiences etc.

- I would love for her to meet some fellow Nephilim. I have a need for CR with demons too. But honestly, I'm open to all CR. I did, unfortunately, drop the ball on Felfri, but I'm looking to do a lot more with her now that she's in Ryslig and experiencing her changes.

Cairo is half your typical cheerleader mean girl who's obsessed with the status that being "prom princess" gives her and half a really complex person who has hopes and dreams outside of being mean and negging people on the network. You just have to unlock the second half so she'll actually, like. Be vulnerable.

Will is that character who is having a bad time in canon and is still having a bad time in Ryslig. He's haunted as fuck (aka he has so much PTSD and doesn't always use a coping mechanism about it) and he's trying to "solve" Ryslig. It's like a tabletop game. He just has to make it through the dungeon!

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:
Cairo would like everyone to know it's CAIRO MONTH! (Her birthday. It's her birthday month.) She will be having a party later in the month pending the event info and she will be inviting everyone. She also works at an antiques shop that is run by slightly shady folk and they essentially liquidate things characters might have stolen or otherwise acquired if you're looking for a more lowkey CR in. Oh! And she runs a theatre group. Also she's temping vampire this month so that'll be fun.

Will is getting baby's first changes! He has a log up for November if you want to come meet a boy. He's also offering to draw people for [checks notes] 10 solars.

For Cairo, I'm mostly just interested in strengthening her existing CR and getting back on the horse after, uh. Moving and then getting the 'rona in September!

For Will, I'd like for him to make some friends his own age (15) outside his cast! I'd also like for him to meet some, uh. Less than good adults and shrug like "that's a responsible adult" bc adults in Stranger Things? lol. Listen, he just needs non-castmates to tell him "hey, Will? have you considered that Hawkins sucks ass?"

So, Ash isn't really Will's age (18), but he has a habit of collecting broken kids. His canon is pretty rough, so he's not everybody's cup of tea, but if you're looking for somebody to have Will's back, I think Ash can be one of those people.

Also, one of his canon's messages is how much adults suck, so that could be a bonding point.
