Triffany would love to be part of the support network! She eats flesh and so much else of the human goes to waste. Otherwise her big project is to establish the field of archeology in Ryslig and study its history.

She's the type to befriend jerks so maybe there's a chance of them becoming friends.

xingchen knows very little about archaeology (in his own world, he's more from era of the relics being dug up than that of the archaeologists doing the digging) but he's a super inquisitive guy so i feel like he'd be really interested to hear about her work!

and, of course, would be happy to work with her in figuring support network things, both in actual practice + in the knowledge-gathering stage (isn't she arachne? he doesn't know any arachne, so he'd be really interested to pick her brain and ask whatever species questions she's comfy answering)

he's a chronic jerk-befriender, too. it's his curse. i'd say they should start a support group but that would require recognizing it as a support-worthy ordeal at all. smh
