TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Dr. Robotnik is an evil eccentric mad scientist who hates that hedgehog. He's a faerie and he's been around a while but he's still convinced he's going to find a way back home somehow. He has to take over the earth before he takes over anything else after all! It's revenge! He of course has some weird memories stemming from canon updating to Sonic 2 a while back (and he's taken on the bald mustachio'd look to prove it) so he's a little weirder than he used to be, and he was pretty weird.
WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Still hanging around, still working on tons of projects. He likes to bury himself in his work but he still has to come out every now and then. Like when he does his radio show or hangs out in the rest of Amusement Mile.
SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: He hates friends but he still keeps collecting "acquaintances" somehow. He could always use some more! Also people to work with reluctantly (he likes to work alone but maybe SOME things require some "assistance.") More fourth-related stuff maybe! Also he likes to yell at people, so that always works.

Otto is a physicist, former supervillain, tragic widower with massive Dad vibes! He's a Faerie living in Hill House and got a job at Liewen Labs, Bavan Branch. Will be taking on Physics class at the school too. He's technically background tech support for W.E.B., but I'm not doing a whole lot with that because of my second character.
Steven is a pathetic meow meow- I mean a beautiful British nerd who comes with a love for history, a superhero alter ego (Mr. Knight) and a CW for Hollywood DID. Also, he's vegan! He's living at the 38-8 and got a job working the register at some unspecified store, so he can just abandon that for something nicer whenever. He's also a mentor figure within W.E.B., an actual active one, but preserving his secret identity isn't something he cares about. There's only one aggressively British Neph with distinct wings like that in Ryslig.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:
Steven will be coming back from the dead when the fog rolls in, and shortly after find out that Marc Spector is no longer in Ryslig. I've got an initial draft for a log with several prompts all written up and ready to go, but I might not post it until the 9th because ~I'm going to Disneyland, babeeeyyy!~ Either way, the prompts encompass several locations, so it won't be hard to run into him.
Otto is the one I've got no real specific plans for. We'll see where this month takes him!

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
Steven's gotten a bit jostled by last month's event and Marc's departure (okay, very jostled), so he might need some friendly support. But that said, I'm always up for conflict and confrontation too. Don't go easy on him!
Otto, I feel, just needs to branch out his CR even more. Meet some new people, or run into folks he hasn't seen in a while.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS:

some backstory cliffnotes in three handy bullet-points

personality-wise, he's one of those 'can't refrain from helping someone who seems to need help' sorts, a very warm and outgoing person by nature. he does have kind of a 'stereotypical kind do-gooder' outward presentation that he tends to keep people at arm's length with at first (it's pretty much all he had ever known before ryslig, but since arriving here he has made great leaps in allowing himself to be a person instead of a daozhang)

underneath all that, though, he's a fiercely loyal and stubborn friend with every ounce of terrible dad-humor you'd expect from a reformed mountain yokel.

here in ryslig, he's a werewolf (werefox, really), and he lives in a cottage in the woods above lake minska.

he has been here for a little over two years now, and though he kind of let himself get insular and cozy for a while in late 2021/early 2022 after some particularly fucky events early last year sharply narrowed the scope of his long-term aspirations, he's once again starting to get that proactive itch to Fix This Overarching Bad Situation Somehow, so he'll probably be out and around a lot more once he (and I) can nail down exactly what direction to go with it.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:

frequent haunts — apart from his home and his husband's estate (lotus pier, at the south end of lake minska), he also spends a lot of time volunteering at bavan general hospital (generally doing whatever nursing-adjacent tasks he can with experience in field medicine but no degree), in exchange for a small but steady supply of expired/non-medically-viable blood for said husband to drink.

current status — so he lost one of his few close cr early last month, which has put him in a less-than-stellar mental place currently (not that he tends to let on), which in turn has lit that Do Something Proactive And Meaningful drive in him so he can stop feeling so impotent re: being able to make a legitimately meaningful positive impact in the lives of others.

he should have a network post coming up re: a few things, but mostly asking about the sea of stars. i meant to do it last month but things got away from me.

in a more long-term sense, i think he's going to be feeling out what sort of monster support systems actually exist and working toward maybe setting up (or helping with, if one already exists) a system that tries to maximize the number of monsters fed per civilian death - a larger-scale version of what he, runyu, and jiang cheng had worked out before runyu left (runyu was fae and would get the person's energy, then jc would get the blood, then xingchen would get the meat). i feel like he has a lot of questions re: the monster types he has less experience with before he can figure out how to approach any sort of system-building, though, which will probably be more network posts along the way. gotta love network posts.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:

he had a small but diverse CR pool for a while, but basically everyone aside from jiang cheng and runyu is gone now, so my obligatory 'give me anything' type answer is just that i really want him to start making connections with others in general again, so that he can't keep numbing his thoughts with whatever work or training he can throw himself into.

(also, this will be more like a menu of thread possibilities than an actual wishlist, but w/e)

if anyone would want in on the above monster support system project once it starts to come together, he isn't proprietary about it and would love to make it a team effort with anyone who believes in the value of minimizing harm to the native residents of the peninsula.
— (i don't think that he'll actually put out a call for help even once he gets it started, because he's kind of just not a person who defaults to passing work off onto others when he can shoulder it himself, but he (and i, oocly) would definitely welcome others into the efforts.)

i really, really would love to see him make a friend. i laugh at how low that bar is set, but god like. he has been surface-level friendly and even joked a little with so, so many people, but it never quite seems to break through to a layer where they actually have serious talks about genuine things, or form any kind of trust deeper than the trust you give someone you ambiently know is a decent person. i've been letting it slide because at least he still had runyu, but now the friend count is zero (jc and lanzhu don't count) and i'm not gonna let this fool self-isolate.

he's one of the many many people here who could teach someone sword combat, or possibly effective meditation practices if that's somehow of interest.

does your character need help with something? literally even the stupidest little tasks? Let Xingchen Help You. he's too helpful for his own good and has almost definitely been told to fuck off and mind his own business at least a not-insignificant number of times in his life.

characters who frequent the woods between bavan and lake minska (or even happen to go out there one single time) might encounter him in his travel form (a waist-height jiuweihu fox), where he can help them get un-lost or just generally be a large fluffy acquaintance. i also wouldn't be opposed to them helping him in some way, like if he got his leg caught in a trap or something like that.

ANYTHING ELSE: as an ooc note, i'm trying to regain my footing after two years of grad school ate my life, so most of my plans are still firming up. also, i discovered while setting up a new thread-tracking system this evening that at least four of you tagged me in late july/early august and i didn't get the notifs - so if i tag our super old thread and you'd rather just drop it, that's totally fine.

re: trigger warnings — xingchen definitely comes with some of those in an overarching sense including eye gore(?) (his blindness is due to physically... not having eyes) and mentions of suicide. however, it's super unlikely that either of those will probably come up (and if they do, there would be ample warning or pre-plotting), since he has bandaging over his eyeholes and tends not to talk about the more concerning parts of his pre-ryslig past unless directly asked.

Tawna Bandicoot - Tawna is an adventurer, former mutant bandicoot, who loves swordplay, grappling hooks, crafts, leaping into danger, and pretending she's too cool for everything. In reality, she's pretty damn soft-hearted and trying to keep everyone at arm's length to avoid really being hurt again. She's softened in ryslig, beginning to horde find people she actually cares about.

Peter Parker - Peter is a eighteen-year-old teenager superhero. He's Spider-Man! He's lived through some wild shit in his own way. Peter is naturally anxious, a little dorky, and eager to help people around him. He takes far too much responsibility on his shoulders and over-extends himself. One day he'll learn to relax. He is one of the founding members of W.E.B.

Elizabeth Dewitt - A nineteen year old whose been kidnapped to another dimension before! Elizabeth comes from the near end of Bioshock Infinite. She's a bit feral at the moment due to some wild shit that has happened to her.

Once Elizabeth has calmed down, she'll genuinely be very friendly, chatty, eager to learn, and intrigued by the world around her. She loves literature, sewing, dancing, singing, lockpicking, reading, and decoding ciphers. She is a woman of many talents due to growing up in near isolation. At the moment she craves Murder. She's trying to learn more about the gods to try and start some shit if she can.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:

Tawna is leading the craft club. She has the occasional club meetings. She is working with Norman Osborn to make craft kits for FEAST (The soup kitchen). Tawna honestly is just Vibing. She will host a craft club meeting sometime this month.

Peter himself has "Relatively" settled into Ryslig. He's been patrolling as Spider-Man around Bavan, helping people where he can. Peter has gotten W.E.B (previously known as Young Avengers) off of the ground. He leads it with Chiaki Nanami (still the first one, but now a tree!), Steven Grant (sad man)

After the wastelands event, he'll be taking it a little easier than usual. He might be getting up to more teenager level shenanigans.

Elizabeth is learning about the local gods, probably lingering at the local library. She is absorbing as much of the local culture as she can.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: As I always say, genuinely everything.

Tawna always needs more adult friends. More generally, I was thinking of Tawna gathering her very diverse friend group together to cause a little chaos in some regard. Bar crawl gone horribly wrong or some shit.

For Elizabeth, I'm looking for her to interact with 4th and fog followers to get their perspectives. I'd like to have her pledge to Elias in the near future.

I'd like Peter to make more teenage friends if possible, so he has not super heroic shenanigans going on in his life. I'm also down for people to talk to Spidey or Peter about W.E.B.

A cop, who gave himself amnesia in hopes it would make him less of a shambling horror of a human being. He’s relentlessly persistent about unraveling people to satisfy his curiosity. You have secrets? He will pester them out of you. He will also cry on you.

Harry is now a diehard foggie and he’s interested in talking philosophy and appearing to be much less of an extremist than he is. He’s a peculiar mix of manipulative and genuinely very vulnerable. He’s prone to crying, self hating spirals, and is generally just hounded nonstop by the furies in his head.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:
Stuff in the wasteland has left him wildly unstable and his cop partner is in a (hiatus) coma. Harry is in a manic state, trying to hold it together.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
He's very focused on the Fog and making her proud. To that end you might see him around Haftesal, chatting up some of his contacts. It’s getting harder for him to do this, his empathy for these humans is very strained and without empathy to balance out his charming sleaze…it’s just sleaze.

He’s always looking to convert other monsters to her cause, to discuss his philosophy, art, and share in the beauty of monsterhood with folks. First he has to convince them that monsterhood is beautiful, of course.

With all the strain happening in his brain he'll probably be crying a lot in public too. Harry is inherently very sympathetic, he’s a guy who’s clearly Going Through It at any time. If you have a Good Samaritan who’d offer a helping hand. He will gladly take it. Or bite it. Or both.

All in all next month may end up being really really harsh on him so I’d like to expand his CR while he’s as functional as possible. Despite his problems he is good at coaxing people into having fun with him. He likes art, sports. He really can’t hang around bars though and that makes it a bit harder for him to socialize.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: A middled aged Minnesotan Muppet archeologist with a cheery disposition and a tendency to casually drop an existential crisis in the middle of a conversation. She volunteers at the Bavan historical society and is aligned with the Fourth just for his powers to get into locked chambers and explore.

She was mortally wounded by The Handler last month and mercy eaten by Black Hat, so there's also that she's dealing with.
WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: The past month has motivated Triffany into doing something meaningful with her time here. She's dedicated to opening a college of archeology and studying the old languages and religions, and now she's gained some new respect for the Haftesal scientists for trying to make a difference in the world.

She's going back to dig sites and wants to retute to thr wastelands, but right now she's worried that she's forgotten something after her death. She hasn't, but she needs some calming down to do.
SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: She's gotten a nice dose of anti-nihilism from Faramir recently, so anyone who wants to talk about their destiny or their goals in Ryslig would be fun! She also wants to talk about her husband to make sure she hasn't forgotten anything.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Introverted, observant, vulnerable girl with daddy issues, unsure where she fits on the killer to victim scale.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:
Abigail finally died here for the first time, after being here nearly two years!
It's made her feel very vulnerable and she'll be doing whatever she can to shake that off. Unfortunately for her that she's still switching between human and shade for another couple of weeks, and while she's going to make the most of having a solid form, I'm more than happy for her vulnerable state to be taken advantage of. Following all this, she's finally going to make it to level 2 with the Fog, although over the last few months her opinion of what the Fog supposedly loving her actually means has changed a great deal. She lives at the Faros Academy, works as Javert's personal assistant, and spends her free time doing botanical sketches in the public parks in Bavan, hanging around coffee shops, and honing her hunting skills. She also volunteers as a butcher at the soup kitchen. She inherited Tarkin's hunting cabin and spends a fair amount of her time there. Her eternal struggle is with seeing herself as both a killer and a victim, and she's leaning hard into embracing her identity as a monster as a way to ignore the guilt she has about her involvement in her father's crimes back in her own world, though being temporarily human at the moment has swung her back to a victim mentality that she loathes.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Friends, parental figures, good and bad influences, romance, enemies, you name it - but in particular friends near her own age, other Fog followers, and people with more of a darker moral compass to influence her.

Heading out with the objective of "today I socialize to obtain currency from Mana the Coin Witch" but having no idea how to do so. Helping her girlfriend Cagliostro read an extremely important historical document aloud on the network. Joining the Lighthouse and spinning a Big Web inside of it. Potentially discovering caffeine gives spiders the brain scramblies. Researching Rystrology (please click this link i worked REALLY HARD).
SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: I'd like Saint-Germain to get roped into doing things, instead of being the instigator! She's hit on the idea that interacting with others is a way to resist Ryslig's oppression while she investigates how to make it Stop Outright....which means if you invite her to come do something fun, her ideals PREVENT HER FROM REFUSING. Riley is a former cheerleader who has the tendency to snap and murder people. She keeps a sunny smile on until it gets to be too much, which it does here! A lot!! She's come leaps and bounds in the last year and a half in Ryslig on actually expressing herself instead of hiding behind a happy mask, but she's very maladjusted due to neglect and bad coping mechanisms. Also she's from a musical and has the ability to accidentally turn any scene into a musical. Oops.

Jodariel is a big buff lady (seven feet tall) formerly with horns. She's quiet and has eternal resting bitch face, giving her an intimidating air, but she's incredibly mom-shaped. A former soldier, she was exiled into a purgatory-like place called the Downside and spent sixteen years of her life surviving there. She's cynical but practical. Also she can't read because literacy is outlawed in her fucked up dystopian society. It makes using text to speech and speech to text on the network really haphazard.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: UNHELPFULLY I HAVE NO IDEA. Mostly going through their motions because I have been very checked out as of late and am trying to dig myself back into the game. SO in general-
Riley works at Poundmates, the Persephone Orphanage, Nai'a Nights, and the Juno Steele Detective Agency. Girl keeps herself very busy. She lives at the 38-8 apartments but she's going to be spending more time at Giorno's mansion as of late.
Jodariel works at the Lucky 38 and Persephone Orphanage. She spends most of her time caring for the children there, as that's her greatest passion. She lives in the Orphanage basement, to be close to the kids.
SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: I'd like to have both of them get settled back in with their CR. Check back in with folks, handwave some things (see below). I don't necessarily have any PLANS because I'm mostly getting my feet back under me again, but basically if we have CR please check in! I'd like to get Jodariel some more adult friends as well.
ANYTHING ELSE: SO I haven't been around much and I'd like to fix that! With that comes some general notes. I have a large backlog of threads that I'm putting on the backburner for now, with some exceptions. WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Aside from taking horrible care of himself? Blues currently works as janitorial staff at the Lucky, volunteers at the soup kitchen and partakes in W.E.B. business. Which is a lot that he does to keep himself from dwelling on a bad thing he did months ago, of which he still feels bad. (He killed and ate a kid, if anyone cares to know.) ALSO! His "birthday" is this month, he might actually do something for it he might not.
SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: He lacks his emotional support robot (aka Tempo/Quake Woman) so maybe someone he could finally trust to talk to about his feels about the whole... Situation here? This is something he does once in a while where Fog followers can get together and discuss things they're doing for the Fog, or because of Her, or share information they've gathered on things like, uh, Haftesal. Or the Fourth God. It's going to be held at Ragnarok this month and I'll make it a section of his open log.
He's also still working on the Faros Academy, getting it ready for monsters to train and use their new forms/abilities, so look for some of that to be ready for changelog!

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: This month I'm probably going to focus on him checking in on close CR, but if you'd like to start something new, that's totally fine! He also still does monster wrestling in Djavulenstad, so if anyone wants to thread out a match/spar, that would be fun. I don't get to write him fighting often enough.

NAME: Nichole
CHARACTERS: Altair
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Altair is a quiet, brooding tortured soul. He was the first and last commoner to be chosen as a mage and the consequences of that choice, which was forced onto him has left him scarred and very distrusting of others. Despite the walls he puts up to keep people away, he secretly wants to be accepted and he is fiercely loyal to the friend who stubbornly stick around long enough to see past his walls.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: As usual Altair works at Juno Steel Investigations, even though he's rarely seen at the office, secretly moonlights as an art thief and he now partly owns Loaves of Love with Peace after Annie left. He also has a secret job as the mysterious artist Peregrine who appears on the network every so often. I've neglected Peregrine too much lately but I will put up a new Peregrine post soon. I will be sometime after the 4th since Altair died and this death is going to be harder on him.

First memory loss death! He died from naga venom after killing Joshua out in the wasteland. Normally death doesn't bother Altair very much. He already died way too many times before ryslig for it to affect him much. However Altair had been terrified of inevitably dying too much here that he starts to lose memories and now that has happened. I don't want him to figure out what memory he lost right away. Not knowing is going to drive him crazy and I want to play with that. Ironically this will make Altair friendlier with his close cr since he's scared he lost an important memory with them. If you just want something fun with Altair the earlier part of the month is a good time for that, though something is clearly bothering him. Everything is going to fall apart after Altair figures out what memory he lost. As a shadow mage, he was the sole witness to the memories of the dead, basically their soul. Losing one of the souls he was tasked to protect is going to be devastating for him and it is going to lead to the next plan for the month, Altair's temporary monster change.

Altair is going to be a shade! Shade is the perfect monster for him and it's time for old Altair to get to play. His form is going to be heavily influenced by his true form as a shadow mage, which is a being made of magic that is anchored to an echo of what is left of his human body, something I haven't been able to play with in ryslig since everyone is changed to human at the start. Altair has been kicked down and villainized his whole life and he has struggled with his darker, vengeful nature for years. He is going to be an absolute menace and lash out at even the smallest slight. He already has a lot of the skills he needs to be a formidable shade already from years of being a shadow mage. It's going to be an unwanted trip down memory lane. He hated being a shadow mage and although he will never admit it, he likes how much he has changed in ryslig.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: I will start with everything because I love just throwing Altair into things but here are some helpful specifics.

Altair's cr is mostly good influences right now and I would love some more negative and darker cr. Shade month is a good chance for that and I would love to play with Altair trying to deny who he was as a shade later. He has always tried to deny his darker instincts but I want to play with them more.

Peregrine cr! I want to do more with Altair's secret artist personality. Pursuing what he wants to do instead of what the world pushes onto him is a huge step for him and I really like playing with his artistic side. Anything connected to Peregrine is welcome! Customers, fellow artists, people who are curious who he is and want to try to uncover his identity, even if you just want to run into Simon, Altair's disguise as a normal bavan teenager, somehow, that works too.

I'm always on the lookout for more reluctant friends! He may act like he's a loner but my grumpy troll needs all the friends he can get and they are the best way to help him grow.

Shade Altair is going to open up some fun future possibilities for cr, specifically cr with fellow characters who were not human before. Altair was happy to be human again so he never spoke of what it felt like to not be human. Even when his friends talked about missing being human, Altair stayed quiet. But after a month of going back to a less physical form as a shade, he may slowly open up about it more. I want Altair to share more lore.

Juno Steel cr! Altair works as a detective and deliberately chooses to not spend much time at the office so he doesn't get stuck working with others. Please drag my grumpy troll into some shared detective work! I want him to interact with his co workers more and he's surprisingly good at working with others once you get past the initial reluctance.

Other than that there are the usual suspects: rivals (especially rich people he can torment), fellow artists, fellow thieves, victims, or someone trying to catch him as an art thief (this could be a hilarious option if they also work at Juno Steel's investigations with him), negative cr (I love the challenge!), I'm leaning into more of Altair old habits now that he's more comfortable in ryslig so fights! He loves fighting and usually starts them. Please drag him into fun shenanigans! He's used to it and he may even have fun even if he grumbles a lot first. Lastly I want to share more lore with people now that Altair is opening up more. There is a whole other side to him that is tied to him being a mage which he hasn't really touched on at all yet. Shade Altair will be a good opportunity for that. I think that's it. If you come up with anything else feel free to suggest it!

CHARACTERS: Leone Abbacchio.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS:

Abbacchio is an ex-cop/ex(?)-mafioso/current goth gargoyle who is having a bad time with loss and personhood. Used to following and carrying out orders for those he sees as just, here in Ryslig he's come to a standstill.

On a surface level Abbacchio is an anti-social grumpy goth who is very reticent to make connections with new folks here on the peninsula. Look underneath that and the reality is that he's sad and lonely, and is really struggling to find his footing on the peninsula despite some of his cast being here. They're great and he loves them (don't tell them that) but they're also teens and he has an odd sense of misplaced(?) responsibility towards keeping them safe and these days he's spending more of his time worrying about them now he's the only adult of their group left. He really wants them to be okay above all, and it's starting to become the general way he feels about a lot of people around him.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:

Abbacchio will be recuperating a little this month after spending the first two weeks of August a sleeping statue, then waking up in the wastes with a tweaked monster design and getting into entirely too many scraps. He works nights at the Lucky 38 Casino on the security team and his downtime is spent mostly in Bavan and especially near or in Libeccio.

This month he will be learning to fly or at least making efforts towards it. He's had wings since March (sans May and June) and has not successfully figured out how to use them. This has to change.

He will be ruminating on how he can minimise the impact that the harm he and others monsters cause to the human population of the peninsula.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:

Anything related to the above, but especially flying and IC discussions on how best to minimise harm / what actions can be taken by monsters to make life easier for humans without detriment to monsters.

OOCly, I am planning on having Abbacchio try and form some sort of way that he can offer assistance to the human families of victims who have died from causes related to monsters. Presently, this will be him wondering if he can be the one to inform families of deaths. I'm interested especially in building CR with others who would have similar mindsets and can get this ball rolling. I have more details on plurk that I can summarise if anyone is interested. His frustration at seeing the human populace struggle is reaching a point where stepping in and taking his own actions seems more and more like the only thing he can do.

Apart from that, I would be happy for new CR opportunities, as well as chances to touch base with existing CR!

ANYTHING ELSE: I know my activity has been pretty spotty for the last couple of months but I'm still hoping that I can make strides to improve that. I'm currently on GMT+1 so my tagging might be at odd times for others, but I also have no schedule so maybe it won't!

CHARACTERS: Dee Reynolds (agiantbird) & Lucille Sharpe (blackmothwings)
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS:
Dee Reynolds is an angry, insecure woman with a violent streak who also really wants to belong and be a part of something. She has a lot of hangups, has been rejected throughout her life, and constantly wants to prove herself -- even when the people who hurt her aren't present. Sehe wants to be liked by people, but she is often self-sabotaging and is good at pushing people away due to her abrasive personality. She can be insulting and tries to manipulate situations to look like the better person, but she isn't usually successful at achieving this. Canonically, it has been shown that she can become a semi-decent person when she isn't trying to fit in with the rest of her terrible friends.

Lucille Sharpe is an elegant, regal, intelligent, and stoic woman with a dark and terrible past. She is grieving her dear brother's death, and she's hurting quite a bit. She believes that she doesn't have room in her heart for other people, and she's mostly just being Polite to people at the moment because she's trying to come across as Normal and not like the spooky murderer that she really is. She can be cold and unforgiving, with a tendency to look down on people, but she can also become very protective of people if she grows fond of them. Lucille already considers herself a monster, so she sees the changes as her 'monstrosity' merely being brought to the surface.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:
Dee died in the wasteland, and so she's hurting a lot at the moment. She's bitter and angry, and she's also fallen into a deep depression. She's likely going to set something on fire and/or find something to smash up. She'll probably haunt some bars and may end up lashing out/making a menace of herself more than usual.

Lucille survived the wasteland and is just trying to find her feet in this strange new world. She'll be playing music at parties/entertainment venues, so if anyone wants an expert pianist somewhere, please lmk. I don't have too many plans for her currently, but I'm open to things!

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: I'm open to new friends or acquaintances for both of mine. Lucille is being careful and trying to come across as friendly because making allies in Ryslig is better than making enemies. I would love for her to actually end up caring about/wanting to protect someone in Ryslig, because she isn't used to caring about anyone other than her brother.

Dee is a lot more openly aggressive, but it isn't impossible to get on her good side. Negative CR is also welcome for both Luci and Dee!

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Gabe is a former "FBI" (officially: his team didn't exist) handler and monster hunter. Gabriel is a ball of issues that he's doing nothing about, but he's getting better at being a person instead of seeing himself as nothing but a weapon for The Cause. He's recently lost his husband and is backsliding into bad habits as a result.
WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Attending this month's Frunch, continuing to practice the art of backsliding into terrible habits (doing things for the Fog make bring Mant back, right?), and returning to manticore mode after some time as a demon! And getting his shit together after dying in the wasteland.
SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: I would be open to new CR for him! He's good at making people dislike him but it would be nice to have his current doom and gloom mentality pushed back upon. He's a lot more mask off about his disgust for the idea that the Fog = Order and he's definitely gotten worse since he started staying in Dyster more.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Swordsman and ghostbuster warlord from Chinese medieval fantasy. Physically late 30's, emotionally cranky old man shouting at clouds. In Ryslig, this Sim went manticore last month, he's still adjusting to the purring side of life. Fourthie, lives near Kulen, and works as a bodyguard for a human industrialist. Kinda keeps to himself in meatspace, best known as always-happy-to-pick-a-fight < SanduShengshou > on the network.
WHAT YOUR CHARACTER WILL BE DOING: He's gonna have a hard time with his animal/hunting instincts during this fog. Haven't got anything else planned. He will be hanging around Lake Minska, sometimes visiting Bavan or Vandare accompanying his boss, and spend time at the arcade with other Fourthies. Gonna finally get him level 2 this month, he met the requirements ages ago. Explore in his embarrassingly cute little housecat form.
SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Friends and foes! He needs people who challenge him and are able to meet him heads-on when he is a jerk, but I also love CR where he makes a stilted effort to be a gentleman, it's funny. Fourth things and tech nerds teaching him to tech; this dude still thinks electricity is newfangled nonsense nobody needs (yes, he is very qualified to follow a cyber god) Fellow people from olden times. CHARACTERS: Bucky Barnes

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: The saddest of sacks. Bucky is freshly escaped from being a brainwashed weapon for a fascist organization, and hasn't really come to terms with that, never mind the whole "being brought into a new universe and turned into a weird gargoyle" thing. Still struggling with his lost and slowly returning memories, and the discovery with his first fog that the Winter Soldier tends to be the one in charge during those times.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Nothing much in particular, really. Bucky is still trying to get his bearings, and is still a little nervous about the whole situation. He has gotten the idea in his head that he wants to get to know people, but he's also still terrified of a lot of them, so he might show up at events being held and wallflower like a champ.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: To be honest, there's a little part of me that's interested in the idea of Bucky making an appealing recruit for the two major religions. His arm made it through intact, minus its superior strength and abilities, which still makes it a good piece of tech to poke at, and the bloodthirsty and easily malleable Winter Solder can be very good for causing chaos and destruction in the name of the fog god. He also has a habit of getting recruited to causes a little against his will if my drift is caught lol

Outside of that, Bucky's just Struggling, in general lol, and trying to come to terms with how dramatically his life has changed in less than a month. His whole monster transformation came in at once, and he sort of went a little bloodthirsty from it, and that is something he doesn't know how to react to.

ANYTHING ELSE: I get super wigged out by notion of partial body transformations and the like. Full, instant transmorphing is fine, but slow changes or partials are a no go.

CHARACTERS: Quentin Beck, this snasty guy right here!

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: A villain who's had his shit kicked in enough times that he's trying to be Better™, a little less of an asshole, but he will still happily give people hot pro-tips on how to fuck somebody over if he feels like it's warranted. IE, he's mostly hung up his villainous hat because it's too hard to be his kind of evil when you can't lie, but also? Sometimes people need a brain to pick that will teach them how to throw a punch, he will happily be that person if they got beef with somebody else and he sympathizes with their anger. If he's your friend or associate, congrats! He's your asshole now, and will definitely bite somebody if you ask him to.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Quentin was shaken by the Wasteland event considering how many people he knew bit the dust during it, and will be clinging on a bit tighter to those he knows in response to that. So, probably sticking to his current CR, and trying to collect himself because whoof. He has a Thing about people dying/disappearing suddenly, and the wasteland event slammed right on it. He'll also be trying to distract himself, so! Wandering around Bavan is also up his alley.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: I want to get him meeting new people! Building new ties to other people outside of his lil group, be it by having new conversations or meeting at the wrong place at the wrong time. I'm fine with positive and negative CR, so either is good for me. Also, this moth man hasn't learned how to fly yet, and will be getting some secondary arms this Fog! If you've got any hot tips for extra limbs that aren't like vines or cables, he is all ears. Same for wings!

I am always down for Quentin getting to be ridiculous and a bit petty, and stripping away more of his 'serious, bad guy' veneer to show he's... just kind of a guy, really. So! If you want a guy to gripe and complain a little before being dragged into shenanigans, he's right here. If you'd like a Bad Influence, he's also right here! Despite trying to turn over a new leaf, he's still going to have some... very questionable morals. Have fun with the dubious morality.

ANYTHING ELSE: The past two months have been a bit rough IRL, so I haven't been as on top of tags as I wanted to be. I'm hopeful that September will be better, though!
