Harry has a halo now, from being a good boy for Fog Mom and has been nurturing his artistic side.

I’m not entirely sure what he’s going to do but he wants to pay tribute to mom and inspire other monsters to consider her gifts as…gifts. He’s a painter and he has a thing for graffito so I’m considering some large slogans going up around Bavan. Probably starting with his classic: SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL IS GOING TO HAPPEN.

He also has the capacity to make some pretty gnarly corpse art displays from what he learned during the movie event but I think he’s going to keep things relatively tame, especially for the newbies.

EDIT: I forgot about his mind control stuff! He has a new ability to sing a song that makes everyone cry hysterically. I’ll just copy/paste how it works:

Whether he’s outright dredging up something sad in the listener's mind or just causing a physical reaction is up to the discretion of the other player.

What form the hysteria takes (if it leans more towards anger or more outright simple grief) is also fluid. The song has to be heard for it to work at all. The effect on HOH characters will vary on a case by case basis, and ultimately up to their player. Characters physically incapable of crying will be put through the motions of the hysteria regardless.

CHARACTERS: Mirabel Madrigal
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: An adventurous, spunky young girl from Colombia. She comes from an all-magic family, despite having no magic herself. She has some self-esteem issues and would do pretty much anything for her family, even at the cost of herself.
WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Mirabel partied it up as a Pooka last month, now she's back to be a werewolf. She's probably going to offer up sewing services soon! She's still poking around in God stuff too, though not committed to joining the cause.

My tagging has been a little less regular since I've been dealing with hand and wrist pain, but I'm still trying to keep up a moderate pace. I'm doing separate TLs for each of mine to make it easy to keep track of things.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Isabela is basically a Disney Princess without the crown. She grew up in a family of magical and musical people and was pressured to be absolutely perfect. Because she was the oldest it was expected that she'd marry well for the good of the family. But in pure Disney fashion everything went crazy and she discovered the joys of actually acting like she wants and not how she's expected to.
She's from the 50s in Colombia, so there's a lot she doesn't know, but she's learning!
WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Isa is working at Cafe Millenia, volunteering with The Lighthouse, and helping out at the Soup Kitchen. And that's on top of looking after her sister and worrying about her Uncle. She's a very busy girl.
She also may or may not be pledging to the Fog this month...
SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: She needs more friends and people to pull her out of her comfort zone! Also someone please ask her on a date! She's still going through her monster changes, so she needs to learn more about that, too.

CHARACTERS: Dr. Robotnik
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: A mad scientist who likes machines far more than people and who really needs to Get That Hedgehog. Except the hedgehog's here and there's no point in getting him because it's Ryslig and it won't accomplish anything! Anyway he's a genius and he needs to do things like take over the world but he has to get back to the world first.
WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: As always, he's working on his projects. He has machines, a number of potential ways to get the hell out of here, etc. etc. He of course has his weekly radio show and hangs out at the amusement park a little more than someone who's busy should, but mind your own business. He's skipped the last few big events which really gave him some time to get some robots done.
SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: As usual I'm going with the flow. Getting friends against his will is always a good time! He also probably needs to network with Fourthies more considering the kinds of things he's working on. Also of course down with people who don't get along with him!

CHARACTERS: Pannacotta Fugo
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Fugo is a prickly and extremely unfashionable crime teen whose interests are being modifying clothes, mystery novels, and working too hard. If your character has CR with Giorno or Trish, they have almost certainly seen Fugo hanging out in their orbit. He helps Giorno with a number of his businesses, but he is the most heavily involved in helping him with Persephone's Orphanage.
WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:
* Fugo currently has a text post up here on the subject of monster swaps. He is (hopefully this january, if I have the coins for it!) going to permanently swap his Monster type eventually. The overall gist of the arc I'm trying to go with is for him to be more at ease/more comfortable in his own body. which is a thing he is just now learning is a) possible??? b) normal actually???? wild. this is news to him
* I haven't had a chance to yet, but I'm planning to tag into the intro log in the next couple of days! if you have a top level and are interested in a thread, please toss me a link and I will hop to it!
* A bit of future plotting: I'm planning to give Fugo one last major change in that his current more human legs are going to transform into spider legs from about the knees down either September or October. (it will be something like a mashup of elise from league of legends & summer meltryllis from fgo) if your character is getting fucked up monster feet, let's have them Wobble together
* On the subject of backtags: but if we have CR and you are interested in me tagging into last month's memshare event please let me know. I have a couple belated tagins planned and would not mind either handwaving or threading out things still on that log!
SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
* I'm always down for branching out Fugo's CR pool! it's a bit easier with characters in his age range and more difficult with adult characters, but not impossible. he is prickly and temperamental, so it may take some time to warm up to characters, but he's also pretty easy to bully/lead around. He's a tetchy busybody who, even when he's in a bad mood, really can't help but help out/explain things when others need it.
* It feels weird using this as a catchall, but Monster shenanigans! fugo is specifically an arachne, if you're looking for spider friends, but he's currently pretty curious about the experiences of other monster types. I love threading out stuff like hunting or just ... idk. digging into the horror stuff!! it's fun!
* is your character suspicious of hafestal?? I used this last time but fugo continues to be deeply suspicious of these guys. who do they think they are with their benefits??? their shady carnival booths and even shadier research???

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS:

Tawna Bandicoot - Tawna is an adventurer, former mutant bandicoot, who loves swordplay, grappling hooks, crafts, leaping into danger, and pretending she's too cool for everything. In reality, she's pretty damn soft-hearted and trying to keep everyone at arm's length to avoid really being hurt again. She's softened in ryslig, beginning to horde find people she actually cares about.

She's seen and done a bit of everything in her relatively short life as a sapient being. She's always down to clown on a new adventure. She loves new experiences and is ready to try everything at least once.

Peter Parker - Peter is a seventeen-year-old teenager (soon to be eighteen!) superhero. He's Spider-Man! He's lived through some wild shit in his own way. Peter is naturally anxious, a little dorky, and eager to help people around him. He takes far too much responsibility on his shoulders and over extends himself. One day he'll learn to relax.


Elizabeth Dewitt - A nineteen year old whose been kidnapped to another dimension before! Elizabeth comes from the near end of Bioshock Infinite. She's a bit feral at the moment due to some wild shit that has happened to her.

Once Elizabeth has calmed down, she'll genuinely be very friendly, chatty, eager to learn and intrigued by the world around her. She loves literature, sewing, dancing, singing, lock picking, reading, and decoding ciphers. She is a woman of many talents due to growing up in near isolation. At the moment she craves Murder.

Tawna is leading the craft club. She has the occasional club meetings. Likely to have another in August at some point. She is working with Norman Osborn to make craft kits for FEAST (The soup kitchen). Tawna honestly is just Vibing.


Peter himself has "Relatively" settled into Ryslig. He's been patrolling as Spider-Man around Bavan, helping people where he can. He's also taken on helping Bucky Barnes settle in. It's a disaster part 2.

Peter has gotten W.E.B (previously known as Young Avengers) off of the ground. He leads it with Chiaki Nanami (still the first one, but now a tree!), Steven Grant (sad man)

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Tawna always needs more new friends! Peter definitely needs some teenaged friends.

I am genuinely interested in getting Elizabeth interested in the 4th god (Elias). I feel like his backstory (child tortured by father) would elicit her sympathy to an extreme. She would dedicate herself doggedly to the cause until she actively calmed the fuck down.

I'm pretty open to a bit of everything.

ANYTHING ELSE: As always, I ask people not to somehow know Peter is Spider-Man without asking me. I'm not a fan of this character being 4th walled.

CHARACTERS: Triffany Lottablog
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Triffany is a cheerful, middle-aged Minnesotan archeologist with a nihilistic streak that shows up a lot more often in Ryslig. She's usually out digging for artifacts and working at the Bavan Historical Society, but when she's in town, she stays at a mansion left to her by her good friend Nos (Triffany has a tendency to befriend villains and bastards).
WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Triffany isn't going to be around other monsters much after the Pink Juice event, and she's half-transformed to candy by now. Thankfully, her own canon taught her that turning your body into food is bad news and alerted her that something isn't right and avoided the worst. My plans are for her to go out camping and possibly bring up her history with Bugsnax in response to the changelog.
SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Someone trying to eat her candy body! People asking her about history! She could use some more genuinely nice people among her Cr.

CHARACTERS: Just Atem for now but look out, October.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: An ancient Egyptian pharaoh wasn't buried properly and he's making it everyone else's problem. His ghost woke up in the modern world and possessed a Japanese teenager into punishing bullies with edgy Jigsaw-style danger games. In Ryslig, he's become more caring as well as more brutal, both at once, and has also been through way more Ryslig-specific trauma than is his fair share. He hit a breaking point in January, and the last six months have been him dealing with that! Sometimes, instead of therapy, you speedrun the Fog church no glitch any%, but it's the power of friendship that's been actually helping him over the last month or two, and is why he's a few steps away from "stable, mostly" again.
WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Being a vampire in the summer in a high-latitude country sucks! No pun intended. So, Atem's temping through the summer! He's a nymph from the 7th of August to the 7th of September, and he'll be experiencing unusually high levels of patience and laziness, in addition to swapping the relative importance of "humans" and "plants" in his mind. Poison Ivy didn't have a point but by god Atem relates. He's got a log log up for sleeping like a log after the blue pill metabolized out, and I'll mostly be looking for things to tag into with him this month! Big plants, no big plans.
SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Atem is a very pretty nymph with very horrifying pitcher plant insides, where his head tilts back, his neck expands, and anything that goes in there decays in the acid. I'd love for this to come up.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER: My veteran - September will be his 2nd anniversary! He's very busy between the Lighthouse, the Casino, and the Academy, but he always finds time for friends, especially if there's coffee, a drink, or a game involved.
WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: He'll be spending a good deal of his free time trying to get the back half of the new Academy block cleaned out so that it can be repurposed. Last month's player plot gave him a lot to chew on and he's got some thinking to do, he might as well be productive doing it.
SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Talking to people about moral stuff! He's had a long life and a long two years here, and both of them are starting to conflict a little in terms of what he did versus where he wants to be as a person. Not to mention the whole "old man in a teenage body" just complicating things as usual. I also really want to try to get another Fog Brunch going, either this month or next month!

CHARACTERS: Daisukenojo "Beat" Bitou

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Beat's a big dumb dumb himbo who just wants to make friends with everyone, help people out, and kill the Fog God. As you do. He's normally a Squirrel Pooka and thus an absolute god damned Gremlin, but right now he's rocking it as a Werewolf, and just way more excitable and friendly. He will absolutely attempt to teach you to skateboard and shut your mind off if he thinks you think too much.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Beat recently received a Gift of an indoor Skate Park that he's named the Sk8rs Underpass and whole-heartedly turned into a sort of youth center. It's open to the public if anyone wants to skate/board on half-pipes and ramps while inside a refurbished graffitied up church.

He also, with Neku as his partner, is starting a clothing shop! Sort of. It's mostly print-screen graphics on t-shirts, hoodies, jackets, etc. Graffiti style for the most part, but Neku is an actual artist and can give you more variety. They'll also print on posters once they figure out how.

He's also got a plot in the works that he's keeping very hush for now.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: I never really know what to write here, because I do like everything and anything. Once Graffitees gets up a little more, he will definitely look to hire more artists or people to just help out with printing stuff. Other than that, I draw a blank. I just go with the flow and see what happens!

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS:
MAYA FEY former ghost-channelling girl-cult heir slash not-so-legal paralegal, current de facto bar-owner and village owner officially starting Year 6 at Ryslig.

SPIKE SPIEGEL former bounty hunter, former-former mafioso, current sad excuse for a waiter at the Lucky 38; helpful about most things but kind of a pain in the ass, and seems to view ryslig as a purgatory for [checks notes] stealing his BFF's girl and lying to his friends. The mafioso shit's fine, though.

SOUDA KAZUICHI is his world's ultimate mechanic and a savant with machines, oh and also used to be a terrorist. But he's "better" now and has made a pretty good place for himself taking car jobs no human wants to work on.

ALUCARD is literally Dracula, something like 200 years later, willingly in servitude of the Hellsing organization. He's adjusting to: not being made entirely of blood-shadows, being a Werewolf now (which are not his division) and being mortal, but hey, he kind of thinks it's fun! Also his fledgeling, Seras, is here, and so he's just causing her misery as usual.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: I'M IN THE MIDDLE OF MOVING so all of them will be taking it easy. I might end up skipping this month's event as a result.

SOUDA will definitely have finished most of the car projects that were previously talked about. Feel free to handwave that, or ask for a thread about it! Or, drop a new project on him, why not.

MAYA is back to being a mermaid and chilling out just a bit from her demon indulgence stint, but still in the mood to play and ignore her bad feelings after the departure of her husband.

ALUCARD is just being a weirdo as he usually does. He's been a monster so long he doesn't really think about things in a humanlike manner. But now that he needs food, he's been enjoying the companionship of the elderly elites of the peninsula as bodyguard and boy-toy.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: like I mentioned, I'm still in the middle of moving, but I'm down for setting the stage for bigger cr moves. Maya's lost some of her support system as multiple friends of hers have dropped, but I'm also into strengthening the bonds she's got left as well as potentially grabbing more negative CR. I'm always looking for new direction with Souda, who tends to stick to himself, and I'm looking to get Spike either more adjusted to Ryslig or more in trouble soon— or either, who knows. Alucard.... everything with him is a new experience. I don't have anything in particular in mind for him, but I trust that whatever happens will be... interesting.

ANYTHING ELSE: The move I'm going through has been kind of volatile with a lot of unexpected issues cropping up and i've got a big queue to get through, meaning my tagging speed will continue to be erratic and my focus will continue to be on quicker/network based/easier threads. I'm looking forward to getting back into the deeper stuff when I'm all settled, though!

CHARACTERS: Michael
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Michael has just arrived here! He is an ancient demon who has come to like people and be pretty chill.
WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Settling in! I figure he can just crash in the 38-8 apartments unless something else comes up ICly. He's probably gonna look into volunteering at the soup kitchen, but he also needs an actual job. I don't know what that will be!
SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: I'd just like to get him some more initial connections right now! He's friendly and not at all put off by monsters, so he could just as easily approach others as anything else. He is going to be trying to get used to being an actual human, so anyone to commiserate with over that or else to help him with it would be nice.

Saint-Germain is also in the 38-8 and spent hundreds of years unwittingly serving as the pawn of her world's equivalent of a demon (.....it was a narcissist nudist demon robot but whatever). Obviously she and Michael should be friends.

Also she loves to discuss Ideals and Justice and all that highfalutin intangible moral stuff.

CHARACTERS: Sparkling Cookie (charmpagne) and Adrian Cinnabar (toaflame)
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Sparkling is a bartender who takes great pride in his work and loves to throw extravagant parties. Is best known as "the guy with the Pink Juice" currently, though normally he's just "the Cookie Guy".

Adrian is a nomad from a fantasy kingdom where he had been living as a monster for over a decade, so Ryslig is much of the same for him at this point. He's grouchy and irritable but has a soft center if you can get past the thorns.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Sparkling is going to be doing some MUCH needed decompressing and reflection in the aftermath of Ryslig's Pink Juice Incident. As of right now the Grapevine is going to be closed for repairs, but Sparkling will likely reopen sometime mid-month once things have had a chance to settle. He's also really missing his boyfriend who went home during all of this, so he's going to be laying low.

Adrian meanwhile has only just recently shaken off the injustice of the Pink Juice making him ~feel things~; the event last month shook him very badly, but it also sortof kicked him into gear in terms of wanting to "get stronger" in Ryslig so he can find a way out, or so he says. In reality, he's trying to figure out if there's a way he can forge a new life here. A better life.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Since both of my guys have had huge shakeups recently in different ways, I'm looking to let them both chill a bit while also working to build new CR and fostering what they already have built up. I'm always open to trying new things and scenarios, and there's rarely anything I'm not gonna be like "hell yeah let's do it" to, so don't be afraid to ask! I am going to be having a lot of IRL things come up back to back starting in September on into October so I may be a tiny bit slower than usual during those specific times as they come up, but otherwise I am Down for Everything(tm).

DISCLAIMER! several of my plot requests below are related to the event/ic fallout from the event i ran last month. unfortunately i was not able to be as active in it as i very much wanted to be due to some personal crises that took up my time and energy, so i'm still navigating that for both characters.

CHARACTER: giorno giovanna (digiorno)
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER: giorno came to ryslig a small mafia boss with a Dream and an immediate grudge against the fog. two years later he is not very much larger with an even bigger grudge against the fog. his Dream has translated from fixing up his home city to making the absolute best of his life in ryslig that he can until he finds a way to kill god and take her place get home. he runs like seven businesses, lives in a stupid mansion, and is a very pretty tree. he's also in charge of and majority funding persephone orphanage. he's a strong believer in unconventional justice, an inflexible thinker with poor boundaries (its the twauma), and a massive nerd. ask him about frogs (don't ask him about frogs).
WHAT YOUR CHARACTER WILL BE DOING: last month giorno was canon updated! he has pretty much talked to no one about this because oocly i was just not very present because my timing slaps. that is a factor going forward, though, as he is going to be slightly more reserved and suspicious of others. it probably won't last long since he's had so much character development since he's been here, but it is a Thing. as mentioned above, he is going to start work on the neutral faction this month. other than that i'm playing it by ear and trying to catch up, lol.
SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: the big thing is that i would like to know if anyone wants to backdate memshare threads (oldbies only obviously). i have three scenarios that i can lay out in more detail if anyone is actually interested, and i am also planning to poke at the ooc post that was put up a few days ago, but i'm obscenely late to that too so (smokes a pipe wearily) i'm basically trying to figure out if it is worth it to put up a whole backdated starter for that or just put something in individual inboxes for ppl who are interested. july was a hellscape.

more generally, i love complicated cr for giorno! he is a very stubborn and morally gray character who doesn't fit in well with good- or evil-aligned characters, and he also doesn't know how to emotions very good, so while he is a generally kind person he can also be a massive tool and overall is good for messy cr if that is something folks are interested in. that said, he is also a big nerd about plants and animals and by extension a card-carrying member of the monster appreciator club, and i'm always into teen cr that helps him loosen up and do teen stuff. i would like to build up his cr base with more adult characters as well, both good and bad influences welcome. it is harder to build relationships with adults for him because he's less willing to trust, but also, he needs it FLKJDSKLF. I'M OPEN TO SO MUCH THO HMU

more generally, beato is big time grieving and i would love for someone to actually catch on to that. she has revealed it to one person, maybe one and a half, but only in vague terms, and having someone force her to actually put it all out there would be huge. the event was also fairly traumatic for her for a few reasons and she needs to face that shit too. on the surface, beato is by turns goofy, flirty, incomprehensible, and palpably dangerous, so initial impressions can be really varied, but i would love for her to develop a solid cr circle, challenging though it is. and also enemies! god, she loves enemies, those are way easier.

He had. An awful time last month but also feels eager to embrace the new, even worse Harry that he can be. After what he saw he highly doubts that he’s capable of love or positive growth. Fuck human definitions of self improvement. It’s time to move on. He is ready to throw his humanity in the dumpster.

Talking about the fog and monsterhood! Harry is not a character you can really debate with btw, he’s an extremist. And he’s extremely proud of being an extremist. It makes him funky and interesting instead of boring and sad.

Otto is a physicist, former supervillain, tragic widower with massive Dad vibes! He no longer has the mechanical murder noodles strapped to his back, which you'd think would be a good thing, but he actually kind of misses them. He's a Faerie living in Hill House and got a job at Liewen Labs, Bavan Branch. Will be taking on Physics class at the school too. He's technically background tech support for W.E.B., but I'm not doing a whole lot with that because of my second character.
Steven is a pathetic meow meow- I mean a beautiful British nerd who comes with a love for history, a superhero alter ego (Mr. Knight) and a CW for Hollywood DID. Also, he's vegan! He's living at the 38-8 right now and got a job working the register at some unspecified store, so he can just abandon that for something nicer whenever. He's also a mentor figure within W.E.B., an actual active one, but preserving his secret identity isn't something he cares about. There's only one aggressively British Neph with distinct wings like that in Ryslig.
WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: I've got no specific plans yet beyond Steven helping out in W.E.B.'s name with that whole... experimental pill debacle. But I'm always up for anything. Depending on what the upcoming event is, I'll be all over that too.

He's got an anxiety problem and 25 years of late 1800s German repression to unravel but otherwise he is a ray of sunshine who absolutely wants to be your friend.

Der Tod is Death. Not an agent of death, they ARE Death Itself, bound to flesh and incredibly unhappy about it. They are turning into an Arachne, live at the 38-8 Apartments, and they have set up a little business making mourning jewelry. They are aggressively morally neutral and still have no idea how to actually be mortal.


WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: I had to take a retroactive hiatus in July, so honestly, save for any events that might pop up, they'll just be going through their usual work/life motions unless diverted!

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Alfred has been my central character for a while - I would like some lower-key stuff for him. He needs new friends! I want him to get out there and help some people, now that he's gaining some confidence. If you think he would be a good foil to anything you have going on, HMU!

Der Tod has had it Too Easy. During the hiatus last month, I've decided their only changes were to lose their temp Nephilim parts, but keep the extra eyes. Their first major Arachne stuff hitting is gonna be ROUGH for them, if anyone is interested in that? Otherwise I just want them to stick their nose in more stuff about the world.

If you character has an interesting relationship with the concept of Death and/or would have an interesting reaction to realizing they are Talking To Death Itself, I am ALWAYS down for that! Der Tod is also great for playing opposite characters who might be easily judged.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: She wants to earn lots of Mana coins by Doing A Social and Having Fun, as she currently believes that's the best way to defy the oppression of Ryslig while working on a plan to Attack and Dethrone Mod. Because no one in Ryslig is allowed to have nice things, the Pink Juice incident took having fun and made it a source of suffering for her, as she really dislikes being put in humiliating or embarrassing situations and the juice's effects knocked her for a HELL of a loop. She is Very Sensitive about this and your character should totally make fun of her. They can also make fun of her for learning her new arachne body - her spider butt just grew in so she'll be relearning how to navigate with more legs and different sensory perceptions. Abigail has been here about 18 months now and definitely considers the peninsula her home. She's pledged to the Fog and has absolutely drunk the Kool-Aid there - although after turning back into a Shade, which has made her miserable, she's come to the conclusion that even if the Fog loves her, any god just wants to mess with their subjects. She works as Javert's personal assistant and has recently moved to the Lighthouse Academy after finally accepting that Horatio is going to adopt her no matter what. She spends her free time doing botanical sketches in the public parks in Bavan, as well as hanging around coffee shops, and honing her hunting skills. She also volunteers as a butcher at the soup kitchen (and it may be a good idea not to ask where she gets some of the meat from). She inherited Tarkin's hunting cabin and spends a fair amount of her time there. Her eternal struggle is with seeing herself as both a killer and a victim, and she's leaning hard into embracing her identity as a monster as a way to ignore the guilt she has about her involvement in her father's crimes back in her own world. She turned into a vampire for the temp event and absolutely loved it, feeling she was finally in the form that 'fit' her and gaining a lot of confidence, and she's now absolutely distraught at reverting back to a shade, making her question Fog Mom for the first time. Despite that, she's determined to stay in Ryslig and is convinced that devoting herself to the Fog is the best way to do that, so she's planning to get to level 2 sometime soon.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Friends, parental figures, good and bad influences, romance, enemies, you name it - but in particular friends near her own age, other Fog followers, and people with more of a darker moral compass to influence her.

Was once Mr. Popular and kind of an asshole as a result, but ever since graduation has been floundering spectacularly at the transition to adulthood, as well as adjusting to his loss of social status in general. The bright side is he's made leaps and bounds toward becoming a pretty okay person.

Very social. Himbo material. Just wants to be a good friend and/or partner. Danger makes him A) scream, or B) act more bold than smart, depending on the stakes.

Now a full-time bunny boy.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:

• This month? Maintaining status quo as best he can while dealing with the fact that his world might have, like, ended, or may be really damn close to ending? He just got canon-updated and left with quite the cliffhanger. Additionally, two of his fellow Hawkins-ites are here now, and while they can mostly take care of themselves and/or would prefer to take care of themselves, he's still going to worry about them.
  
  
• Said status quo consists of living at the 38-8 as well as part time at Giorno's Palazzo, (barely) managing the local monster-run animal shelter, Poundmates, that got hand-me-downed to him, helping out with the kids at Persephone Orphanage, and generally just annoying his friends by wanting to hang out constantly.
  
  Pooka Brain is unhappy if it's not socially engaged, meaning if there's a place to meet other monsters (The Grapevine, Nai'a Nights, Amusement Mile) then he probably exists at it in some capacity.
  
  
• He's honestly gotten a little too cozy here. Pooka have it easy. They're cuddly. They have great abilities. They don't have to deal with the fleshy parts of human-eating. It's time to shake that up for him in a big way. Come September, I'll be hitting him with a long-term (4 month) swap to Naga.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:

• More CR in general, whether new or touching base with those he hasn't in a while! Unfortunately, the arrival log prompts didn't click with me, but I'm still very interested in plotting, and Steve really, really needs things to do this month! Marco is a former tech CEO, current programmer/secretary at McGucket Labs who killed his dad in self-defense. Somehow, being in Ryslig for (Christ) seven years and having to kill many more people to survive has not done much good for his massive guilt complex. He's also one of the Fourth God's Priests!

Doppio is a former mafia underboss, current... sort-of janitor at Crowe Clinic. He felt very lonely for his first year and a half in Ryslig, but lucky for him, his Boss is here too now! So are even more of the people who turned his life upside-down. He also has a habit of insisting he has not eaten people, though he seems to have gotten awfully quiet about that for the most part...

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: As a general note, I may not be getting up to very much of importance this month for stress and also holiday reasons (I'll be entirely gone between the 13th and the 17th), but!

Marco continues to communicate and collaborate with the scientists of Haftesal. He hasn't been terribly public about it, but anybody who's been paying attention to their booths and whatnot may have noticed Marco hovering around them quite frequently.

Doppio is just kind of vibing and trying to forget certain things he saw in the Theatre Dimension (tm). Don't remind him people might have seen things about him and Diavolo too. SPEAKING OF WHICH I still want to work on his museum exhibit but it's very likely it won't be happening this month for the aforementioned reasons, sobs.

Marco could use both more friends with Brain Problems AND people who might take advantage of his Brain Problems, because I'm just that kind of bitch. Additionally, for all the mistakes that he makes, he is a fundamentally generous and nurturing person, so I'm always looking for CR that he can become protective of! He WILL provide unconditional love and support! wait no don't love and support him back why this what are you doing you shouldn't even TRUST him aaaaaaa

That said, I'm always down for him to make Terrible Mistakes, too. Maybe not on the same level as "sacrificing a beloved member of the community to cause a Fourth Wall event," but with how much time he's spent moping about past mistakes lately, why not make some new ones?

Doppio has plenty he can do too, and just like with Marco, I'm of two minds: I want him to do more nasty crime things AND I want more CR that can make him question his beliefs and moral compass. Can I have both? There's also the tangled mess that is his brain and past - I'd love for more of his CR to gradually unravel some of that. Speaking of tangled mess, at this point, his fog form has pretty much established itself as Its Own Separate Guy, though one with some identity issues, and that might be fun to play with too.

He's an eternal optimist, aggressively neutral about both the Gods and determined to make the peninsula the best possible place it can be while clinging on to what scraps of humanity he can.

Aaron Wojciecowski is freshly 18, a minotaur and still... Very scattered following the brutal annihilation of his family just before he was pulled through. He's not good at people, but he's trying his best, despite feeling very... Old every time people start talking about being alive in the year 2000.

Reverie was formerly the demon heir to an entire plane of Hell. Now he's a vampire running The Last Drop, a nightclub with an escort service running out of the upstairs private rooms. He's irreverent, a fiend for parties and drugs and a massive flirt.

Gabriel Rhodes is the volatile manticore coroner working in the prison's morgue, putting his former skills as a doctor to use. He's just lost his partner and is currently going through it. He owns Ragnarök, an Inn on the shores of Laka Dala, and frequently offers butchery/cooking classes in the Inn's kithens. Ragnarök also serves monster brunch every sunday, day and night.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Reverie's going to throw a party at the end of the month in The Last Drop for his boyfriend Phil's birthday! It's going to be open to all comers and have a free bar.

Gabriel is... Just trying to put himself back together a bit. He thought he was figuring things out but with Monty gone, he's learned he's just a few very bad days away from feeling like he's lost all progress. You might find him ripping apart some poor bastard to feed rather than maintaining the trappings of civility, these days. This month, he's temped to demon so the bad days are a lot less than they are usually.

Aaron is looking for more work and will be hitting up the jobs post. He's also going to the neutral arcade so if you wanna see a teenager vibing and figuring out arcade machines with the air of a grandparent doing the very slow, one finger only typing....

Dick will be refamiliarising himself with the city, doing some roof running and helping people out where he can! He covers the bar for Horatio a fair bit at the 38 and he can sometimes be found at the Mile checking in on the various npc businesses.

Collects gossip like a dragon. Will ask you for details just to get the tea because it's entertaining, but at least he doesn't spread it around. 50/50 chance on whether he will genuinely help you or sit back with a pink drink and sunglasses and go "ganbatte, roomba-san".

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Honestly, Joshua is just chilling and sticking his nose into other people's business. He's taking a sabbatical from actively planning things for a hot minute (though he always has something simmering on the back burner) and is simply watching and supporting others. This is me trying to keep him out of trouble for at least a month. We'll see how it works.

In September, I'm giving myself a birthday gift and buying him a temp swap to Manticore! He was government assigned Manticore the last time I had him here, and I'd like to play with it again because he's very much a cat at heart. I'll also be temp swapping him to Demon immediately after for the month of October, because I can, and because it's about time he gets to be 100% hedonistic.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Man I suck at these so much because I legit want EVERYTHING!! I am definitely up for less-than-positive CR if it works out that way, I don't shy away from IC consequences. TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Rosso is (was) a half-demon who has some, erm, anger issues. Basically all of his emotions are put through a translation engine in his head and then are spat out as raw anger. Is he working on this? Kind of. But not really.

He's currently a werewolf! I'm one of the newer arrivals so I haven't played with temp changes or anything of that sort.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Rosso basically just vibes and doesn't reach out to people, mostly because he's kind of catty and hard to get along with. He struggles to ask for help, but he's consequently always on the search for people to help. So if you're in danger, Rosso will probably be there and he will punch danger in the face. Even if danger is like... a hulking monster or something, no worries, he's here to punch.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: I would very much like Rosso to get attached to people and form his own sort of "wolf pack" in a way, not everyone involved has to be werewolves of course. Just give him some people to watch over and he'll be fine, basically. Otherwise, I'm interested in pretty much most things?? I'm not on the arrival log this time around doing tagouts simply because I didn't vibe but other than that I'm usually very open to ideas/flexible.

ANYTHING ELSE: I can be somewhat of a slow tagger, usually every ~3 days is a pretty solid schedule for me. Sometimes I can catch you after like 1 day though!

Dee Reynolds is an angry, insecure woman with a violent streak who also desperately wants to belong, and be a part of something. She's a bit of a schemer and likes to find ways to make money, and she also considers herself to be an Excellent actress (which is not true). She likes trying to insult people/manipulate situations, so she looks like the better person, but she isn't usually successful at achieving this. Canonically, it has been shown that she can become a semi-decent person when she isn't trying to fit in with the rest of her terrible friends.

Lucille Sharpe is an elegant, quiet, and intelligent woman with a dark past. She is currently grieving and also trying to understand Ryslig. She can be cold and unforgiving, with a tendency to look down on people, but she can also become very protective of people if she grows fond of them. Lucille already considers herself a monster, so she sees the changes as her 'monstrosity' merely being brought to the surface.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Dee is just... trying to exist. As far as the Gods go, she's neutral with a huge grudge against the Fog God, and although she wants to know more about the Fourth, she sees him as fairly ineffective. She just floats from bar to bar on most nights and occasionally might be seen trying to do street theatre.

Lucille is currently trying to learn about Ryslig. Her goal right now is to be prepared for the worst. She's very stand-offish towards people at the moment, and the city intimidates her a little, so she's probably hiding in bookstores and tea shops. Or she might be outdoors looking for bugs.
SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
I really want Dee to find herself a new Gang. She seems to be on her way to achieving that, but I always welcome more friendships. She is abrasive and difficult, but being separated from her canonmates seems to be mellowing her out a little. She's becoming a bit more approachable, although she's still likely to snap at any moment.

That said, I would love more opportunities for her to go feral. I need more chaos and absurdity in her life, and I feel like things have gone a little too smoothly for her lately. I am very open to negative CR and people calling her out on her shit.

Lucille is still settling in, so I'm just looking to find her some acquaintances/allies. She's currently trying to fit in and appear 'normal' to people. She knows it would be a bad move to alienate herself and is trying to get along with people, even though she'd rather just hide away and be sad.
