AM | I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream

First impressions made Waldo not too great in AM's mind because he was a Useless Person when AM was shrinking in age. But honestly compared to some other first impressions he's not that bad. But now given that AM has seen Waldo's tunnel vision and stuff, he now just thinks Waldo is the most pathetic guy ever. Everything he does screams "Wow I am a nerd" and AM finds it hilarious. Waldo does have potential as a scientist though so AM might find him slightly useful at some point. But other than that right now he's just kind of a useless guy. He would probably be one of the people AM kills instead of saving to be tortured for eternity.
Be grateful Waldo. That means AM won't have go "Where's Waldo????" and try to find him.

Anyway, AM was really happy to get to pull Rick's teeth. And Rick actually had a bit of fire in him which made it a bit more fun. AM didn't get to go full-on sadist with Rick, but he gave Rick just a little taste of what AM could be like. So things have evened out a little bit in AM's mind - at least as much as they could. It's more like "Well one day when I get full power, I'll torture Rick, but right now he's an okay guy." I think they could be good asshole friends.
Also Rick threw a kickass party, perfect for AM's first night out of jail. So kudos to that.

But on the network, the fact that Lucas seemed willing to be cruel to people and didn't shirk at torture and mayhem definitely piqued AM's interest. He figured Lucas could indeed be useful one day, particularly where the prison is concerned. But AM also spoke to Lucas when he was whining about losing Ibuki (can't remember how to spell her name lmfao) and found him kind of pathetic. So he had a little fun pushing his buttons. Sorry, guy, AM can't help it. But then he realized hey, this guy could be useful so many he should cool it.
Also, Lucas is the only person AM told (outside of those who work at the prison, and Noa who visited the prison) that he was incarcerated. So that's something, at least.

AM's conversation with Greed clued him into the fact that "Silver" is affiliated with the Nest, but that's about it. He sees nothing wrong with what he did to punish Stocke, because wow he deserved it!!!! In fact, AM should have done a lot more. The only reason he didn't is because the Fog God had plans for him, so he kind of grumbled about it. The thing is, AM is also mad that he himself was fooled. He should have seen it coming, but he didn't because he was too caught up in attempting to earn favor with the Fog God. It's not that he cares so much about Dyster or the Fog God - it's his pride. And Stocke has hurt his pride. :c Also AM's slipups tend to result in catastrophic things so he is a bit sensitive about that.
AM also has a grudgeboner
emphasis on boner okay noagainst Greed (well, it's more complicated than that - he sees Greed as both useful and as a menace) so that would naturally extend to Stocke as well.no subject
Sounds about right
On Stocke's part, he would... probably actually agree to the whole "he deserved it" thing, at least from AM's point of view! They are enemies so far as god alliances go, he was a spy, he attacked the Fog's home base, etc etc. He expected retaliation if he got caught. The thing that's made him wary is that rather than just killing him, AM seemed to enjoy torturing him for the sake of it. Stocke normally doesn't talk about... well, anything; he has people he's not fond of among the Nesters that he hasn't told his best friend about, to let him form his own opinions. But Stocke's impression of AM sets off enough red flags that he has warned some people about him one-on-one, when it came up.
And has his own hateboner during CAH gamesI think were he to run into AM again knowing it's AM, his first reaction would be to flinch, and then he'd be even more pissed about that. He definitely has a grudge, both normally and as a shade; the latter means he's itching to revenge himself somehow but he's put it on the backburner for now. Fortunately/unfortunately, he... probably still has no idea AM's a demon now! I think he'd recognize AM were he to see him in his normal form, but since his only encounter since AM changed was gigantic Fog form with entirely different facial features...
ON THAT NOTE AM managed to fuck Stocke up more than he might have expected what with carving "Traitor" into him! Pain is one thing (even if torture has the added bonus of powerlessness), nightmares and flinch reactions are another, but that kind of stuff Stocke's used to - being a traitor, on the other hand, is a particular sore spot to him given canon. There were a long couple of months where he was trying to convince himself he should be proud of how AM scarred him up out of spite, but he just... couldn't, he hated it. It's covered in Stocke's Djav tattoo now, but he still remembers.

I'm sure if Stocke saw him in his normal non-fog form, he might recognize him because the face and hair are the same for the most part - except a darker color on both counts. And AM would probably recognize him as the asshole traitor who wounded his pride. This definitely needs to happen at some point too.

Since Kain is human, AM already hates him completely though. Add to that the fact that Kain is a warrior, perpetuating the violence that led to AM's creation, and Kain had done some shitty things because of his HUMAN inclinations, and you get someone AM really wants to hurt. c: Also, Kain has confirmed that he would rather die than be tortured, so it makes his torture even more fun. He is one AM has gotten hold of multiple times, and each time it is just better and better. For AM, Kain pretty much represents the archetypal warrior, pretending to be honorable but actually being a total hypocrite who just wants to get laid. It's a way of taking his frustrations out on the entire concept of war and honorable violence.
Also, AM has some good dirt on Kain so he is fairly confident he can hurt Kain without repercussion. So that makes him really convenient to target. However, with Rio questioning him and now knowing that Light and L were aware of the tortures, he realizes maybe it's not without repercussion...
NOW AT THE JAIL... this will change somewhat. Now Kain will add the factor of having actually hurt AM (besides, you know, existing as a warrior and thus enabling his creation in the first place). Kain will actually become an active threat to AM and he will start to have a bit of fear of him. But that fear will turn to even more hatred and will pretty much guarantee revenge. Repercussions or not, Kain needs to pay and suffer. He will move very high up on the list of "people in Ryslig AM hates the most". He's probably at like Position #6 now, but will probably move up to like #3 or #4 (actually killing him would guarantee a number one spot).
So tl;dr: Kain is one of AM's favorite toys here in Ryslig. He's fun and he also tastes delicious. And his hair is really pretty.

But yesss I love all of this, I love hearing just what an enemy Kain has in AM... an enemy he made only by existing. WHO KNOWS if it worked in the right way maybe someday he'll kill him... Kain would be all honorable about it though so he gets off without torture... mockery, sure thing.
