QUESTIONS MEME

QUESTIONS MEME

Not everything has to be a riddle.

The arrivals month is coming to a close, and we've got new people and new plans in the wings - since there are always brains to be picked and new monster-fan friends to be made, let's kick the weekend off with a getting-to-know-you game!

HOW TO PLAY:
• Leave a comment with your name and the characters you play.
• Comment to other players' toplevels with questions - anything from "what kind of monster would your character most like to be?" to "what is your favorite type of CR?" to "what's your favorite dessert?" is fair game!
• For every question you answer, give its asker a question back - keep up the chain as long as you'd both like!
• Have fun, make friends, make plans - let it all march out!

What made you decide to play Espurr?

Espurr is actually someone I'd been considering picking up when I first played the game, oddly enough-which was...a while back, but at the time I just really enjoyed the contrast that stood between her and the typical 'personification' you'd see in espurr-the-pokemon.

You'd generally see two varieties; the tiny wide eyed kitten version (which is...actually rather reira in a sense, OOP), and then the CREEEEEPY wide eyed stare that kinda brings to mind some more obvious horror child tropes. BASICALLY I was kinda bored of seeing those, so having the surprise of a character that took this and instead made her...Very upbeat about the more unnerving matters of the pokemon setting, was something that appealed.

And then of course everything regarding her arc in that game happened and I just got set.

Now...I didn't pick her up back then because I didn't really know where I'd play her...but around Christmas I grabbed the game again to replay it and got reminded of all the things I liked, compared them to the things I....was missing I suppose, in terms of a muse to play and a few weeks later HERE WE WERE!

She's just such a fun character-I could've gone with the partner character too, or even the player from the game, but Espurr also had Far Less Canon Review so that's. Another thing. hah
