[He didn't normally walk this close, preferring to fall back behind, but he was in a hurry /and/ Rio was familiar enough he didn't feel theneed to dodge her— it's a bit cramped and he isn't above shoving or pushing, but she's nice, so he was going to settle for just looking up and giving her an annoyed little frown at the delay— but that annoyance was quickly replaced with wide eyes and reddening cheeks.]
[By this point in the night Stocke has been caught by at least two sprigs of mistletoe, so when he hits his third and his legs lock in place for the nth time he's just resigned. This is his fault, he thought he was safe and stopped paying attention.]
[When he sees it's Sandrath he's found himself caught with, that's... slightly more unsettling. If only because he's still waiting for the other shade to take some sort of vengeance out on him.]
[He wouldn't do it here and now with this, right? Right?]
...you wouldn't happen to know who hung all these about?
[WELL WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT. AM and Kain somehow crossed paths and WHAT'S THIS? There is mistletoe above them. AM looks up at it, then back at Kain and smiles.]
Tell me, Kain, do they have mistletoe where you're from?
[That's all the warning the super soldier was going to get as an arm wraps around him and claps him on the shoulder. In his other hand, he was clutching a piece of mistletoe and had it raised above them. Why yes, the shade in his human form has a giant grin on his face.]
[It was going to happen sooner or later and, to be honest, he's only glad that he noticed the little green sprig of mistletoe over their heads before Rohan. After a moment of thought- any longer than that and he might change his mind- he taps Rohan on the shoulder, grinss and then points upwards.]
C'mere, you jerk. It's traditional.
[And before he can so much as pull a disgusted face, Josuke leans in and plants a small kiss on his cheek. Merry Christmas, Mr. Scrooge, you've now smooched two generations of Joestars.]
[Christmas parties are different here than in Japan, but they seem to resemble those from America, which Light knows about. He's mingling, enjoying the crowd and drinks, when he finds himself accidentally running into someone. It's a large body, but there are many large bodies, so Light apologizes as he turns to see his accidental victim.]
Sorry about that... [His words trail off when AM comes into view. Instead, he sighs, and makes to go.] It was an accident, so let's pretend we didn't even...
[His attempt to move is thwarted when he tries to step forward, only to find himself physically unable to move. The confusion shows clearly in his face, an expression narrows his features slightly.]
[Look, it's not that he's repelled by the idea of kissing Mitsuhide- as far as complete lunatics go, he's one of the prettiest he's met- so much as worried that he might do something like bite his lips off just to see the blood flow.]
Uh, so... it's tradition to kiss under this stuff but... [He gives a loose shrug, more than happy to leave the decision in the wendigo's capable (??) claws. Probably a bad idea.] You know. Whatever. If you want.
[It's a normal day in the Matsuno house.. a blanket fort downstairs with a sleeping bear, a tree rooted in their parents room below... four monsters trying to share three futons above... normal. Osomatsu gets up a little later than the rest of them, not having a job or any responsibilities keeping him from doing so and he exits his bedroom and heads down the stairs with a yawn, heading for the kitchen for something to eat.
...except, he meets Karamatsu just as he's about to leave the kitchen with a drink, and he would simply move out of the way so he can get by but for some reason, there's a mistletoe right above in the doorway and Osomatsu can't pass up the chance to fuck around with his gullible little brother.]
Woah, woah! Where do you think you're going, Shittymatsu?
[Osomatsu leans against one side of the doorframe, while slamming his hand against the other to block his brother's way. He nods his head up towards the mistletoe, and gives his brother a wide grin.]
[It is, in fact, snowing outside, and however much cooler Stocke's core is that most of the Nest's more fiery residents, he's still more than glad to get in out of the chill. He brushes snow off himself, tendrils shaking themselves off, and heads inward toward the bar's stairs.]
[On his way, he greets a certain demon with a quiet,] Lady, [as he passes her table.]
[It's a fun enough party, if you're into socializing. While he doesn't know as many people in Ryslig as he had originally thought, he's good enough at meeting strangers and striking up conversations. When he sees a familiar face across the room, he grabs a small drink in makes his way to Greed.]
It's not alcohol, but that's to be expected at a Christmas party.
[He greets Greed with a smile, not yet realizing they had somehow managed to meet under a special Christmas plant. Instead, he holds out the small cup that matches his own.]
[You think he'd learn after the first one, but no, he was ~walking on sunshine~ and downright cheerful and in too good a mood to notice— another mistletoe!!! His dreamy, lovesick reverie is interrupted by that and bumping not into his crush, but another, although ths's what he initially assumes, reaching up to pull—
—her?
Oh, no, he got the ninja arachne. He'll, uh, be letting go of your shoulder now, Tsukikage sir, and dusting it off, smiling a bit meekly in apology.]
