TEST DRIVE MEME
TEST DRIVE MEME | ||
Welcome to Ryslig's test drive meme! If you're considering apping here, this is where you can try your characters out in the game's setting. A few things to note:
Sample scenarios: SCENARIO ONE: You've just been released from the hospital in Vandare and no one really seems to know what to do with you. The locals offer polite advice but don't seem to want to spend a lot of time with you. You and the other new arrivals stick out like sore thumbs, so perhaps one will spot you wandering about town. |
England | Axis Powers: Hetalia | OTA
[He's very confident in forests; he'd spent much of his early life hiding in them, after all, and these days he still rather likes gardening. Vandare is full of people that are friendly in a way that grates on him. Almost like they pity the new arrivals, at least from his point of view. And he hates to be pitied. The forest, on the other hand, has no social obligations attached to it. It wouldn't hurt to further familiarise himself with these new surroundings and maybe find something helpful that can't be found on civilised land.
So, basically, England is lost. It was daytime when he entered the forest, but now the only light filtering through the trees comes from the moon.
He deigns to move as stealthily as possible once he hears the distant laughter of children. There have been enough ghosts in his lifetime for him to think better of a nighttime encounter with a child in the woods. A fairly sturdy bit of branch found on the forest floor now serves as his main line of defense, clutched in his right hand in preparation to be used as a club.
All in all, he looks pretty ridiculous tiptoeing through the brush like some kind of paranoid loon. But it's not like he anticipates having friendly company.]

England? [Lithuania's voice sounds the same as it always has, and he's grateful for that. He still elects to stay back for the moment, though.] When did you get here?
no subject
[He either opts not to answer the question or forgets that it was asked in his suspicion. For all England knows, this could be a trick! And he doesn't want to make conversation with fake nations.]
no subject
Over here. I, ah--you're not going to hit me with that, are you? [The stick, that is.] I look... Odd, right now.
[Understatement. With Lithuania speaking so much, though, it's probably possible for England to spot the outline of Lithuania's head and two green eyes watching him. They're very green.]
no subject
...probably? He sees something incredibly green. It's probably just the moonlight on some leaves.
He spares a glance at the branch in his hand and then turns his attention back to Lithuania.] Only if you hit me first. What do you mean you look odd?
no subject
I'm like this.
no subject
You— you're a plant. [His reaction probably gives Lithuania a ballpark on how long he's been here. Not long enough to have personally run in to many monsters.]
no subject
A little bit? Everyone's been turning into different--creatures. I know the way out of the forest, and you look a little lost, so I thought I'd offer to help.
no subject
He narrows his eyes and frowns, still obviously wary of the other nation's claims.] Tell me something Lithuania would know. Who's your boss?

I'm not lost, mind you. It's just better to have a companion for this kind of exploration. [He is definitely lost, and that is his way of agreeing to let Lithuania lead him out.]
