CHARACTERS: Miles Morales
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Just a normal teen boy who was once a spider but is now a lich!! Miles has been slowly adjusting to life in Ryslig, working odd jobs around Bavan between his still masked solo hero work and attending school at Strickler. He's passionate, artistic, and loves having fun with his friends when he's not having panic attacks and existential crises.
HOW DID YOUR CHARACTER HANDLE THE LATEST EVENT?: Miles was low-key on bingo! He mostly just used it as a reason to spend time with his friends and have fun instead of thinking about the Horrors.
OTHER SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: I'd be interested in more antagonistic relationships!! Miles has a very good friend pool, and while I don't mind expanding it, I need some tasty conflict for his life that isn't just the General Ryslig Trauma.

Meowzy's Losers
CHARACTERS: Otto Octavius (
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS:
Otto is a physicist, former supervillain, widower with massive Dad vibes! He's a Fourth-allied Merperson living in Hill House and has a job at Liewen Labs, Bavan Branch. When Oscorp was left to Peter Parker, Otto jumped in to help out with that, so I guess he's part in charge of that too. He's teaching some Physics classes at the school too, which is being handwaved. He's technically background tech support for W.E.B., but very very very offscreen.
Steven is a British nerd who comes with a love for history, a part-time job as superhero (Mr. Knight) and a CW for Hollywood DID, which by now has re-manifested itself into a hunger-triggered bastard of an alter. Also, he's vegan! He's living at the 38-8 and was left in charge of the College of Archaeology. He's also a mentor figure within W.E.B., an actual active one, but preserving his secret identity isn't something he cares about. There's only one aggressively British Naphil with distinct wings like that in Ryslig.
Watson is the variant from BBC's Sherlock, which means he's from modern day England and also he's kind of an asshole sometimes. He hasn't finished all his Simulacrum changes yet, but he's getting there! Feel free to throw all the fourth wall-breaking stuff you want at him. Tell him all about this mysterious Arthur Canon Doyle who wrote novels about Sherlock Holmes and John Watson, it's cool.
HOW DID YOUR CHARACTER HANDLE THE LATEST EVENT?:
I played it cool for the most part. Otto sat out of this event entirely, Steven only reacted to the bingo shenanigans of other characters, and Watson's sim brain did take the bingo card as actual assignments to complete.

Watson needs a liiittle bit more to do, I think. Rather, he needs more CR, so I'll see about tagging out with him more in December. I'll probably sign all three of mine up for Secret Santa too. OH and also, Steven may very well be getting married in January (huehehe), so he may start to get very nervous about that as December draws to an end.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS:
A federal agent tasked with investigating and neutralizing bio-organic weapons (read: fucked up meat monsters) in the early stages of a slowburn zombie apocalypse, Leon's currently in the throes of an existential crisis over having to deal with man-eating monsters who aren't essentially mindless and already dead-folks-walking. He's only shot one person about it, at least!! But the fact that he's soon going to be among the rest of you here is still setting in.
HOW DID YOUR CHARACTER HANDLE THE LATEST EVENT?:I think Leon scored like three squares on bingo max (some threads are ongoing/yet to start) and probably punched a cameraman somewhere in there. So there's that! He's honestly just kind of confused by the whole thing.
OTHER SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:Generally I'm looking for Leon to make positive connections with people who are willing and able to drum the whole "If you don't feed responsibly you will feed irresponsibly and no one wants that" thing into his head. Being pointed at opportunities to protect people in need, be they human or monsters or both will also be really good for his long-term mental health, so if you've got anything on that front let me know!!
ANYTHING ELSE:So just a heads up my only major trigger that isn't like, among the standard suite that most people think to warn for is Christian missionary rhetoric ie genuine belief IC and OOC that there's one and only one way to salvation and it's through Jesus and that doesn't tend to come up here but I do appreciate some kind of brief "hey it's chill" before serious discussion of Christianity comes up.
Other than that: Leon's a former cop and current agent of the US government in a setting where the cops and the feds tend to do a lot of crimes. He's a well-meaning guy and is very mad about this all the time, but it may come up. Also his canon deals with a lot of body horror and especially mind-control parasites, so if any of that sounds like something that'd make you uneasy for any reason PLEASE feel free to check out my permissions/opt out. Your safety comes first!

CHARACTERS: Merlin
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS:
Merlin is an adventuring wizard prince from a literal fairy tale world who may or may not have just gotten over a horrible curse before waking up in Ryslig. He's now a nymph who works at Nai'a and spends too much of his free time in libraries. He has an ego the size of the moon, but is just a sweet little dork deep down.
HOW DID YOUR CHARACTER HANDLE THE LATEST EVENT?:
I'M...A BIT BEHIND, but he should find it enjoyable! Merlin is a huge ham who craves attention, so having cameras follow him everywhere is probably right up his alley. Plus, he didn't change into any of those new bingo monsters, so he's probably thrilled.
OTHER SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
I'm always open for all sorts of CR, whether positive or negative! Merlin himself is kind of desperate for people to like him, so he doesn't necessarily go out of his way to pick fights, but he does get prickly if he feels like someone is being rude to him.
For more specific scenarios, I plan on permachanging him in January, so I'd like to do more nymph-related things before he loses that magic. All I have planned so far is having him grow a pear tree in Merain, so stuff like that. I also signed him up for Secret Santa, so I hope whoever he gets likes books. It will probably be books.

Clari's Disaster Girls
CHARACTERS: Dee Reynolds (
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS:
Dee Reynolds is an attention-seeking, volatile, narcissistic woman who has a myriad of self-esteem issues. She's deeply insecure, and desperately wants to be liked and accepted by others. She has been in Ryslig for nearly two years now, and mentally, she's in a MUCH better place than she was back in Philly. She's still prone to being volatile and selfish, but she's healing from everything she endured back home. Dee is a level one Fog Follower, and runs Paddy's Pub.
Britta Perry is an anarchist and activist. She tends to make a lot of noise but often fails to do anything that might actually assist whatever cause she's protesting about. She's the kind of girl who thinks sharing information on Facebook and spraypainting billboards is helping. She's also a big hypocrite, and she does a lot of things out of a need for approval and a desire to be liked by others. She often bases her worth on how much people like her, and tends to get hurt sometimes.
Britta does genuinely care about people, and when she does mean-spirited things, she'll regret it and try to make things right. She knows she isn't perfect, and she harbours a little self-loathing over not being as good an activist as she could be, but she promises she's doing her best!
Lucille Sharpe is a closed book. She's intelligent, observant, and tends to give people a wide berth. She is a deeply troubled, violent woman who hides behind a poised, elegant demeanor. Lucille is currently grieving, after the loss of her brother, and she is experiencing a strange new feeling called remorse. She currently works in a fancy restaurant/bar, playing music for human patrons, and she's reluctantly enjoying financial freedom.
HOW DID YOUR CHARACTER HANDLE THE LATEST EVENT?:
Dee completed her bingo card, and ended up turning into a xenomorph halfway through the event. She did NOT love it. She really wanted the money, and has lots of plans for it.
Britta participated while pretending she wasn't into it. She protested it a lot, made lots of noise about billionaires and also the Fourth God? (It was weird.) Britta donated half of her money to help feed humans in poorer areas of Ryslig. She reluctantly kept the other half.
Lucille kind of participated. She probably got, like... one or two squares. She was irritated by the camera crew and found the entire thing to be very silly.

Dee can always use more friends. She's very insecure and wants nothing more than to be liked and loved by others, so once she latches on, she's very hard to get rid of. But again, she is in a much better place mentally, and she's less antagonistic these days. That said, she isn't above doing things that should get her arrested. She's good at being chaotic, harassing the humans, and getting herself into trouble.
I'm very down for developing the kind of CR where she's comfortable being a little more vulnerable and emotional. I'm also very down with weird, found family dynamics and if someone wants a cool (???) aunt or (much) older sister, she's your girl.
I'm also hoping to get her to tier two, but she isn't down for murdering people and she isn't the kind to preach about joining the Fog, so I need to find another way to do this lmao.
Britta is still adjusting. I would LOVE more friends for her, and I'm aiming to get her to a place where she actually IS helping people in an effective way. I want her to end up making a small difference. I would love for her to clash with authority, and to maybe clash with someone frequently but in a way that's... not entirely antagonistic?
She's going to get her hunger soon, and will be panicking a little over it, so if anyone wants to help her out with that?
Lucille. Let's talk about Luci. She is in a very bad place. She's blaming her brother's death on Edith, and she refuses to forgive her. And... since humans get murdered by monsters all the time, she's going to start targeting and murdering young women with long blonde hair. She has already begun, and she'll be continuing this trend until she's stopped. She's fully human but hopes to become a monster again soon, so she can feel less weak and a little more in control. She'll be getting most of her changes soon.
She MAY end up joining the Fog eventually. We'll see.

Krystal | Sherlock Holmes
CHARACTERS: Just Sherry here.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: He's Sherlock Holmes. You know him, you love him, except this version is very baby and also has a gun, a ton of childhood trauma, and a hallucinated coping mechanism he calls Jon. He works as a coroner and fell ass backwards into being the director of Veritas Morgue & Mortuary and using the morgue to offer feeding opportunities specifically to energy feeders when they receive bodies without souls. In his spare time he solves mysteries as an independent agent as well as police cold cases and instances of blackmail and other rulebreaking coercion in Djavulenstad, talks with hospitals and lobbies government officials for more official avenues for humans to consent before they die to cannibalism of their remains, conducts weird science experiments in the apartment he shares with his boyfriend, bowls on Dee's team, and is living a double life as a werewolf called Rache. Sherlock's pledged Fourth but keeping that tightly under wraps: he has a god boon disguise that makes him look/sound/smell like a werewolf who is Not Sherlock Holmes, The Manticore, and all his Fourthie activities so far have been in that disguise. He's got his eye on Elias's tier 3 memory protections thanks to a prior event adding more trauma on the pile, and will be making his move soon! When it is least inconvenient, he sleeps.
HOW DID YOUR CHARACTER HANDLE THE LATEST EVENT?: Sherlock really hated being a cthulhu for personal reasons, so he spent most of the event asleep in a very concealing pile of blankets. See, he DOES rest. However, he did fill a bingo card, and he floated around meeting other people in dreams! He talked to humans in their sleep about getting radios again, and where they'll be able to get radios soon that won't be so obvious to Fog priests. There was also a weird dream about a shark with a radio in its mouth.
OTHER SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: At the end of November, Sherlock will, one, be setting up a hidden-radios-in-convenient-public-locations fast-travel network for Fourthies, and two, be a faerie, and therefore unable to lie directly about it. Look for a log going up in the next few days if you want to catch/question him about it! I'm up for some characters figuring out the double life, just hit me up for plotting OOC first. I'm also up for drawing out the fact that he's being a sneaky little shit and having it come out later when it's much worse that Rache and Sherlock are the same person. Besides that, he'll be complimenting known god-followers and shaking their hand for a Mana quest (if all goes well), so calling all fogs/fourths for compliment day!

Peter Parker: Your friendly local neighborhood spider-man! He's a anxious, talkative, nerdy mess of a guy. Peter out of suit is in charge of HEARTH, W.E.B, and runs the A-Tower! He's been fairly lowkey, trying to help new and old monsters cope with this shit we call monsterdom. New monsters looking to help the local community of Bavan can interview with Spidey to do some local hero work. Peter personally is trying to make new friends.
Leonardo Hamato: Leo is a freshly fifteen year old goofball of a teeanger. He is a former ninja turtle (fine to 4th wall fyi), and brags loudly about being a ninja. He likes playing loud, abrasive and brainless. In reality, he's tactically inclined and extremely observational. He's currently aligned with Elias and trying to work on tiering up. He's focused primarily on having a good time here and making friends since he's still finding being a "normal" teen novel in ryslig. He is also EXTREMELY prone to starting fights online for no good reason, I am so sorry for him.
Kiriko Kamori: A sly shrine priestess, whose trained in the art of ninjutsu by her mother. Her grandmother was a miko in a different prefecture who took Kiriko in after a certain point. Her family was/are heavily involved in the local Yakuza scene back home. Kiriko is friendly, morally a little grey and plays fast & loose with the rules for her own gain. She's more than willing to get her hands dirty to get things done.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Former Ninja Turtle (okay with being fourth walled on that front) who is also a huge nerd. Normally a manticore, currently a demon and not handling it well.
HOW DID YOUR CHARACTER HANDLE THE LATEST EVENT?: Donnie did partake in the event, went for a black out of his card even but... By the end he had a panic attack and it was quite possibly televised. So I am so cool with people being like "holy shit" about that if they'd like. He's basically going full repression/seclusion mode for the aftermath, as I am planning on having that all explode on him after hiatuses and such are done with his close CR. Also he's the one who helped Sherlock with his hidden radios, but not the actual hiding of the radios just the tech for the radios that aren't actually radio looking which well... Donnie canonly brands his tech, "Genius Built", so that's a way that if anyone looks into that may try to trace back to him.
OTHER SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Friends, enemies, frienemies. Boy is going to be emotionally raw, so idk someone to talk feelings to? TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Sonic is a cheeky and cheerful space hedgehog who has found a home on Earth... and he's not happy about losing it because of the Fog. He's the most blatantly anti-fog thing in existence. But he still tries to make the best of things!!!
HOW DID YOUR CHARACTER HANDLE THE LATEST EVENT?: He had fun!!! Weird fun, but fun. He was a cryptid and filled out his card for MONEEEEYYYYYYYYY.

Maurice: ((CW: alcoholism, addiction))
A shy, sweet-tempered Kelpie that lives in the 38-8s and works at The Grape Vine waiting tables and fixing things. He likes music and B horror movies and THEATER but he won't tell anybody that last one. Secret. He's also an alcoholic that he drinks in the corner by himself instead of partying. He's still stuck inside his shell so he needs some friends to help his personality shine through. Still feels horrible about the whole eating people thing.
He's gullible and eager to please too, so if you need a lackey, he's your guy.
Beetlejuice:
The nastiest freak you could hope to meet. He's a Minotaur and he lives part time at the 38-8s and part time at The Devil's Nest. He's a wrestler and a bouncer and when he isn't at "work" he's making that fact everyone else's problem. He has a hard time making and holding onto friends and this should come as a surprise to literally no one. He's recently gotten a god boon that lets him cast illusions so you can bet he's spending his spare time scaring the shit out of people.
HOW DID YOUR CHARACTER HANDLE THE LATEST EVENT?: I've kind of been MIA for the past couple events sadly. I was on hiatus for bingo, sorry! My guys have just kinda been...vibing somewhere. OTL IM GONNA DO BETTER IN DECEMBER.

Maurice: Friends! He doesn't get out much. He needs someone to push him outside his comfort zone! He also tends to fall into the role of "cool big brother" with characters younger than he is, so that could be cute! It's hard to get him to hate you, but it is possible if you're looking for negative CR.
Beetlejuice: Negative CR would be fun! I LOVE POSITIVE CR FOR THE NASTY MAN but I need somebody BJ can pour his heart into hating. I'd also like this guy to catch feelings for somebody for the first time in earnest since becoming alive. Give him something to sweat about lol.

Uraraka Ochako | My Hero Academia
CHARACTERS: Uraraka Ochako
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Ochako is a young teenager and student at UA High School, a prestigious academy known globally for being the best Hero Academy in the world, having taught the greatest Hero in the world as well. Ochako is a first year student (technically second year but *~*Current Events*~* in her canon prevent her from continuing her education) and despite her friendly and sociable nature, she can and will bare her fangs if someone either needs saving, or if someone is being a jerk. Ochako is, of course, studying to be a Professional Superhero, or Pro Hero in her world, specializing in Rescue. However, she knows how to take and deliver some hefty hits, so don't underestimate her!! Having learned martial arts to round out her skillset, she's no push over, and knows how to take down opponents way bigger than herself and come up with decent strategies to also outsmart her enemies, too. Mostly, though, he's interested in just making friends and social connections, and helping out when and where she can.
HOW DID YOUR CHARACTER HANDLE THE LATEST EVENT?: SO UH, SHE DEFINITELY PARTICIPATED. 8');;; And it was bad!! Awful, terrible, no good very bad day! She went through with the whole ordeal, hated every second of it, but is happy that the end result was indeed a better future, so she doesn't have any regrets doing it - that's what Heroes are supposed to do, right? However, I'm pretty sure there will still be some trauma that will manifest in the form of night terrors and such like that, too, since she's still a kid and all.
The player plot was a ton of fun though, and Ochako loved it!! Until she ate some person's memories as a cryptid and was like "welp, at least he survived?? THUMBS UP???" But man i loved monster bingo and so did she.
OTHER SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: I definitely want to grind more CR for her, and actually get more meaningful relationships first and foremost. I'm currently working on getting her quirk back as a regain, potentially alting her to a different monster as well (maybe pooka, or vampire), but for the former...she
s going to go on patrols a lot more and maybe do some hunting as well...w-which she will need help for since, uh...killing is still weighing heavily on her conscience and all.
ANYTHING ELSE: Squicks or trigger warnings: NO MENTION OF NEEDLES OR INJECTIONS OF ANY KIND IC OR OOC, PLEASE. This is actually my biggest phobia and even the briefest mention of it can make me anxious. Another big one is eye and nail gore, teeth stuff, excessive descriptions of gore (mild is fine) and other stuff I'm brain farting over. TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS:
Marco is a former tech CEO, current employee of McGucket Labs and priest of the Fourth God who is genuinely trying his best. His mental health is... shaky, but he's been worse! Really, he has been so much worse, and that is precisely why he goes to extreme lengths to monitor himself now. Honestly, he could stand to loosen up a little.
Doppio is a sweet young boy who is at least 35 years old by now, and was formerly second-in-command to a mob boss actively responsible for an increase in drug-related crimes and deaths in Italy. Only really figured out how old he is last year or so. Still tells himself he doesn't need to eat people, and the big buff pink deer who occasionally wreaks havoc during the fog is some other guy.
HOW DID YOUR CHARACTER HANDLE THE LATEST EVENT?:
Marco's participation at this point is uhhh likely to be handwaved, but he did fill out a few squares for charity! No bingos, alas - there was always one thing or another that prevented him from completing a line.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Ingo is a manticore who has been having a great deal of difficulty adjusting to Ryslig in his year here! He's still struggling a great deal with the whole cannibalism thing, but has been making more efforts to crawl out of his depression hole and maybe find reasons to value life!
HOW DID YOUR CHARACTER HANDLE THE LATEST EVENT?: Ingo participated in bingo, both as a manticore and as an elder god! He's been doing more-or-less okay!
OTHER SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: I'd love for some more productive/friendly connections for Ingo! He did, admittedly, go through a phase of snapping at everybody about how monsters suck, but while he still does believe that he's trying to be better about not saying it? It'd be nice to get some more perspectives on how people can live with themselves around here.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS:
Harry is a cop turned Fog Priest. He explodes into tentacles and mouths when he’s upset. He is upset a lot.
Rose is a mold monster girl turned human girl! Next turned catgirl. But this was her first and last month as a human. She’s a lonely teenager who longs for normalcy after being raised under strict surveillance because of the whole monster thing.
HOW DID YOUR CHARACTER HANDLE THE LATEST EVENT?:
Harry (and IRL) ate up all my time. It was supposed to be Rose’s month but he had some stuff happen! For him the event culminated in being part of the Fog chosen team that took down that billionaire.
Rose got a bit of a boost from the bravery buff and filled out some bingo squares on her human card! I really intended to build up her cr this month and have her meet people.
OTHER SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
Harry: I’d like to follow up on his event experiences. His disdain for the bourgeois has been bolstered and he’s probably going to continue to target the peninsula's most wealthy humans, especially if they did business with the one he just helped kill. He’s also very proud that he was chosen by mom ^_^ and will be interested in spreading the good word of the Fog.
Rose: Needs more CR! More teens! More everything. I’m absolutely down for backdating event things if anyone is still down for bingo? I feel like I should’ve done with Rose's one month of humanity!
Anyway, for December now that she has some money to spend and is living on her own? She'll be around the mall for sure.
