BIO: Henry is a granola-munching, Birkenstock-rocking, hippie nature druid dad! He's a vegan, a geologist, and an amateur rapper. He's a big old nerd from San Dimas, California, who went on an adventure through the Forgotten Realms to save his twin sons and other members of their soccer team. He's here to dad some kids and teach people about mother Earth! Or... Whatever planet we're on at the moment.
WHAT THEY WOULD GET UP TO IN RYSLIG: First order of business: freak out about being forced to abandon the vegan lifestyle he's led his whole life. Second order of business: do his darndest to protect whatever kids and teens are around. After that... IDK, maybe give this Fog God a piece of his mind?

BIO: makima is the big bad of csm’s first arc— the demonic personification of the fear of control in the body of lady gus fring. her thing is mind control and has a natural tendency to dominate everything and everyone yet also yearns for true affection and familial ties she could never achieve after a tragic backstory and all the wrong raising by the government…………… she’s jumpscare material and an a+ villain 👌 also a dog person
WHAT THEY WOULD GET UP TO IN RYSLIG: i have already played with a few ideas!! the first is owning a coffee shop and be the too-perfect actually scary boss & owner. the second is something a little more audacious: becoming a “monster hunter” to “protect” humans and make ryslig the world that’s “better” to live in by “working together with” (vengeful) victims 🙂 i’ll be ecstatic to flesh out how that’s going to work out if she’s in next round!

CHARACTERS YOU'D LIKE TO SEE: I'm here single-handedly screaming for a Marc Spector to help keep Steven out of trouble, hahaa. (Or Layla or Khonshu.) Tony Stark and May Parker are all at the top of the list for the Spider-Man cast, but Spidey villains of any origin are also great! And more Spider-verse characters! Any other Spider-men would be delightful, live-action or otherwise. But also... Avengersss!

CANON: Claymore
BIO: On the surface, Miria seems like a serious and business-like swordswoman, but she's a deeply caring, protective person and a diplomatic, cautious leader who likes to make sure she has a good understanding of the situation before she acts. She's half-human and half-monster, and she was sent on a suicide mission alongside a large group of other warriors. She'd gotten Too Close to unearthing some Very Bad Things, and was sent off to die. However, thanks to her leadership and quick thinking, she survived and vowed to take down the Organisation that sent her and her comrades to die.
WHAT THEY WOULD GET UP TO IN RYSLIG: When warriors like Miria use too much power, they "awaken." They lose themselves and become terrifying, flesh-eating monsters called "awakened beings." Miria hunts these former warriors in order to protect humans. And therefore, she would be horrified to learn that she's about to become a monster herself. She'd have to adjust her mindset and learn how to live with being a monster AND being someone who has always hunted and killed them to protect humanity.
She'd want to learn as much as possible about Ryslig, and although she'd want to protect humans, she'd also respect her fellow monsters. I think she'd want to find ways to help BOTH survive.
CHARACTER NAME: Riful
CANON: Claymore
BIO: Riful is a Very Polite but Horrible Monster Child. She's an Abyssal One, which is what happens when a #1 warrior awakens. Riful is cheerful and polite, but she's also sadistic and amoral, and she isn't above torturing warriors to make them awaken so she can gain allies and friends. She's quite perceptive and knowledgeable, and even though she's a monster who CAN be quite manipulative, she tends to stay true to her word. She likes to test people before giving them what they want, but if they're successful, she will happily (and honestly) help them.
WHAT THEY WOULD GET UP TO IN RYSLIG: Unlike Miria, Riful would not struggle with Ryslig at all. She would be upset at the Fog God for bringing her to a place where she can't awaken or use her powers, but she'd also enjoy receiving a brand new monster form. Riful would take an interest in the other monsters of the peninsula, and she'd be excited for new arrivals! She'd tell them they should be happy to receive an "upgrade." While she wouldn't immediately ally herself with The Fog, she would tentatively respect her power.
CHARACTER NAME: Cynthia
CANON: Claymore
BIO: Cynthia is cheerful and positive. She cares a lot about others, and she's willing to let herself get hurt if it means protecting someone else. Most warriors tend to be stoic and unexpressive, but Cynthia isn't like that at all. She's warm-hearted, hopeful, and kind, and she wants the best for others. It's implied that she used to slay monsters without expecting people to pay exorbitant fees in return (because lives are more important than money), and that's why she was sent on the same suicide mission as Miria.
WHAT THEY WOULD GET UP TO IN RYSLIG: Like Miria, Cynthia would struggle with becoming a monster and preying on humans, which is very much something I'd love to play out. She'd be very similar to Miria in that she'd have to adjust her mindset, and she'd likely try helping out both sides while keeping casualties to a minimum. Cynthia wouldn't be QUITE as focused on gathering intel as Miria, though.

CANON: Lucifer (TV)
BIO: he's the devil you know, he's the devil you don't. Former ruler of hell, he's been to Earth, seen a therapist, fallen in love, had a kid, helped the god and goddess of creation get back together again, and started helping the repentant souls of the damned process their guilt so they can ascend to heaven. And he's partied his way through it all! He's a lover of music, canonical Star Wars and Bones fan, and the most chaotic bisexual you'll ever meet.
WHAT THEY WOULD GET UP TO IN RYSLIG: Perform at all the places, open LUX 2.0 (nightclub baybeeeee), save up and buy his loft/nightclub from home, be a pal and a confidant

CANON: Prometheus/Alien: Covenant
BIO: he's a real boy and he hates humans! :) His dad said he didn't have a soul bc he's an android and essentially began plotting the downfall of humans ever since. He used the bioweapons left by the Engineers that created humans to experiment and create the xenomorphs in Alien. But other than all that he loves art and music and culture and is very pleasant. :)))

CANONS YOU ENJOY: The Order, The Witcher (Netflix), Disco Elysium, Dishonored, Borderlands, Penny Dreadful to name a few - I like the sci-fi, fantasy, supernatural, and horror genres the best and stuff that mixes these together, but I do also enjoy things outside these genres as well.
CHARACTER TYPES: I enjoy morally grey characters the best, but ideally I'd like to play/bring in someone that's got a more upbeat personality from Alan Wake whether it's a good, grey area, or terrible person. I love a rogue-ish scamp on the sliding scale of Lucifer (good) to David (evil) if that helps paint a picture.
NOTES ABOUT YOUR PLAYSTYLE: Pacific time zone (-8) but i am usually nocturnal so I'm asleep early-mid day. Medium pace tag speed usually but I can get into a boomerang rhythm if the stars align (also occasionally slow). I love shenanigans interspersed with hurt/comfort (or just whump), and like exploring troubling situations emotionally and i love love love body horror so these themes are stuff I wanna play with no matter who I bring. Emotional tenderness and humor to balance out the horrors™️ uwu. A cinnamon roll with Dark Secrets or other messy backstory things would be fun to play if you've got one.
DON'TS: Nothing against people who enjoy/play from these canons but I'm not interested in them for personal reasons and not content ones: Firefly, GoT, AtlA, Voltron. Otherwise I'm open to suggestions as long as it's an accessible media to consume (available to watch/play/read somewhere)

CANON: The Venture Brothers, an 8 season-and-2-specials epic (fail) about a former boy adventurer who's the son of a 60s super-scientist, trying to follow in Dear Old Dad's massive footsteps and being ABYSMALLY bad at it. The titular brothers are his own kids, Hank and Dean. The show spoofs everything from Star Wars to Marvel and is a nerd's love letter to the things we grew up loving and the promises the past generation made that can't come true. It's funny. It's foul. It's filthy. Watch it.
BIO: Rusty is the former boy adventurer in question. One of his childhood best friends is literally Johnny Quest. He grew up surrounded by his world's versions of the Avengers and the Fantastic Four, constantly in peril as the Token Kidnappee. Now that he's grown up, he's... not that great at being a scientist and even worse at being a dad. His inventions are generally supposed to "save the world" but they're all basically... death traps. He's bitter, jaded, lonely, nerdy, and desperate. He's got a snark streak a mile wide. Oh, and he's already been turned into a monster once. No big deal. In his own words: "I spit in God's eye... and he blinked." He got better. Sorta.
WHAT THEY WOULD GET UP TO IN RYSLIG: This man just screams Fourthie ... not that he'd do Elias any GOOD. He would say he's doing Important Superscience but really he'd just be a barhopping sorry excuse for a former human and a trauma sponge.
