Event Wrap-Up / Handwaving

are we all on the same waterlogged page?
Fast moving events always leave a few things by the wayside! Busted your elbow during the event? Got to it a little too late after being kidnapped by fur-bearing-trout enthusiasts? Or did you show up perfectly in time, but now have a little more on your plate than you can handle before you get to tagging around next month? No matter why you need it, this meme is here for you.
1. Post a top-level comment with a little summary of what your character accomplished during the event. If you'd like, make mention of any specific plans you would like to wrap up, or about your schedule, or whatever information you feel you need.
2. Comment to other folks's toplevels to discuss any threads you need to wrap up, handwave, can't backtag, or even last-minute plans, I can't stop you, I'm not your dad. (But I do play one on the internet.)
3. Relish in knowing your plans are secure, complete, and easily referenced in the future.
4. Repeat for other events as needed, and help yourself to some freshly simmered trout... if the Sjörå hasn't put you off fish for a while, that is ...

Hazel | Horatio, Norman, Childermass
Childermass would've told the truth to anyone who asked him for it, but he's new, so ... he doesn't have much Ryslig stuff to share. Other than that he only just learned how a lightswitch works after a month here. He sympathized with the Sjörå and rented himself a little boat to go out on the lake and ... supervise. If your character would have tried to escape the chainsaw fish ... it's entirely possible they thought he was there to help. He was! ... Helping the fish make sure you didn't get out. Otherwise he would have just kicked back in his lil' rowboat.
Norman stayed out of the rain at Hill House for the most part, because arachne. He also had a really really hard time with the truth vibes and a little PTSD. BUT once he realized people were just ... walking themselves to the lake and not coming out, he saw a little opportunity. He got the truth out of Ryou about how he caused the Shades of Our Lives event in December, then killed him For Elias (!) and threw his body in the lake so the chainsaw fish would eat the evidence. (Kitten and I are still backtagging this, but his Tier 3 has been approved.) ... On the less nasty side, he also went to the mall with Otto and Peter, and the three of them were super adorable.
He's also renamed the Soup Kitchen from FEAST to HEARTH, because Ray finally pointed out to him that calling a monster soup kitchen "FEAST" is just ... not a good move. He would have still tried to get there for his duties organizing the volunteers despite the rain, so if your character needed to talk to him but wouldn't have come to Hill House, that's likely your best bet.
