Event Wrap-Up/Handwaving

Fast moving events always leave a few things by the wayside! Busted your elbow during the event? Got to it a little too late after being kidnapped by fur-bearing-trout enthusiasts? Or did you show up perfectly in time, but now have a little more on your plate than you can handle before you get to tagging around next month? No matter why you need it, this meme is here for you.
1. Post a top-level comment with a little summary of what your character accomplished during the event. If you'd like, make mention of any specific plans you would like to wrap up, or about your schedule, or whatever information you feel you need.
2. Comment to other folks's toplevels to discuss any threads you need to wrap up, handwave, can't backtag, or even last-minute plans, I can't stop you, I'm not your dad.
3. Relish in knowing your plans are secure, complete, and easily referenced in the future.
4. Repeat for other events as needed, and help yourself to some freshly simmered trout.

Talloran (nesting each for ease)
John Gaius NTN spoilers! also cw suicide
- John's memory share featured memories of the days before the world ended, with witnessing C---- the nun take her own life. Interspersed with this was the suicide of Alfred, the cavalier of Augustine, his lyctor. Other featured memories you're free to have witnessed/experienced may include being stabbed by a woman with golden eyes, blonde hair, broken chains on her ankles and wrists.
- Event has left him very squirrelly. He knows these memories were witnessed and C---/Alfred were Big Bad Events for him.
Aaron Wojciecowski cw torture, murder
- Aaron went on the expedition to the wastes! He brought preserved human meat in cans so no one could have a certified snickers moment and go sicko mode when he was around. Largely he played security, making sure the
nerdsarchaeologists got their relics. He travelled in his bison form with plenty of space to carry anything/anyone who needed a ride!- Aaron also got his family ranch back. Feel free to drop by for cheese or other dairy goods as he repairs the damage to the lounge from the attack on his family.
Reverie
- Rev kicked Harry's ass but didn't kill him. Sorry Harry but he was Big Mad.
- The Last Drop has been open every night since memshare but with a much more quiet atmosphere and heavier security! :)
Beat & Pure Vanilla
Beat: Beat was at the shores of the Lake Fors expedition, early morning, but he didn't go down as he didn't temp after all. Instead he paced back and forth, whined a lot, spoke to Akechi and then went home, to return later with a lot of food for everyone and to look like a dog who was .... well.... left at home all damn day and his owners now returned. He was also a part of the Wastes expedition in his new fog wolftaur form, and took a lot of photos. Of people, of buildings, of things he might think were interesting. Quite a few of those photos have those shadowy extras, oo spoogy wat mean dunno.
MEMORYSHARE is what I failed at hard with him. I wanted to touch him into so many and did not. I barely got to the ones who tagged into his TL. PLEASE, please, let's discuss what he would have done in your chars memories, or what your char would have done in his.
Links, so you can get an Idea of his TL stuff: Wastelands Expedition & Memory Share.
Pure Vanilla: PV is who I feel I failed with on the hardest in tagging into new stuff, because I was hyperfocused on back tags, and it screwed me up a little. He didn't go to the Lake Fors expedition, but he DID go along with the Wasteland Expedition. Though he didn't enter the wastes, he did set up a station before the sepia fog, so people could get some last minute meals in, extras they might have forgotten, or etc. AND so when people came out they could EAT, immediately. There was also first aid set up for people who needed it, whether it from a rusty nail they stepped on or something worse to stabilize them until they can get better help.
MEMORYSHARE is also something I failed on him, because I wanted him to join so many people and... well. Gestures. Plus with his own TL, there are things we can handwave happened in the end, so we know where we stand CR wise coming into the new month. Did you want to see some of his memories? I can give you a rundown too. Same with Beat. Just let me know!
His TL Link for Memshare: Memory Share.
And of course there's just normal CR stuff that would be happening or could have happened during the month! Let me know for both!

Checking in about:
- is there something real big you are hoping/planning to hit Gladion with, vibes-wise, so I can start mentally rotating it and/or help walk the thread there
- is there anything you specifically want to have Beat pick up from Gladion, either from him dropping it in the thread or some kinda handwaves memory nugget Beat walks into elsewhere

Krystal's goths - cw mental illness, hallucination, manticore feeding, child abuse/parent death
....which led directly to the decision to pull the trigger, buy a magically protected house from Mana, and get the hell out of Bavan. If you're pos CR, feel free to say you helped him move on the night of the 2nd/morning of the 3rd, or just showed up for the impromptu post-move pizza party around 4-5AM.
He also went on the wasteland expedition as a nymph! He didn't do much exploring and basically acted as a monster-radar, along with Nanami, to alert the team to potential danger.
I'm definitely up for handwaving how memshare threads went -- that event was AMAZING but all the tags take so much brainpower to write, and I'm not deleting any yet but no guarantees on a speedy reply/any reply, especially since IRL dance school picks up again 4/10. Wasteland threads good to handwave too!
HOLMES jumped right into Harry's memories and got the Volta do Mar technique, but at a cost: he caught Harry's increased hunger and related nasty shit. He and his now-visible coping-mechanism hallucination Jon ran around with a violin and imaginary-mandolin rescuing as many people as they could, until a human woman they rescued broke away from them and ran back toward the Pale Fog. This triggered Holmes's hunger/hunting, and, sparing the gory feline details, he killed her and fed, before forgetting he did it, because that's canonly how he copes.
After this, he got lost in the memory soup and re-lived the day his mother tried to kill him, then died herself! It's bad! Let me know if you want to have seen it, I'm chill with handwaving it!
Post-event, Holmes's issues where he hallucinates/dissociates away things that are too upsetting (also canon,) meant that he messed up this woman's autopsy, and her family noticed. He has cleared it up and understands the truth of what happened, and has to decide what to do about that! He blames it on Harry's influence on his mind, and is very sure that if he hadn't been influenced by another Fog follower's priest offering, it wouldn't have happened.
When the changelog comes, he'll be moving into the 38-8! Get ready for horrible violin scraping at all hours, monsters! He's definitely here to make friends and not to get an idea of the individuals in the monster population so he can compare them to the bodies that show up in the morgue and put a face to the dental impressions. Definitely.
I think I'm good on keeping his existing threads going on my end, but if there are any that you want to drop/handwave/wrap, let me know! If there's anything you want to say happened that we didn't get a chance to thread, hit me up too!
Joshua & Clotted Cream Cookie
Joshua temped to Mer for the first half of the month from March 1st to the 13th. This was to give himself time to adjust to the form before diving to the bottom of Lake Fors. This is one of the logs I really wanted to tag out on more, but mental exhaustion whacked me hard with a log, so I'd love to handwave shenanigans for that expedition!
He changed back to Nephilim just before the event started, and since I was already feeling it, I kept his event stuff largely closed to his household. The event did mess with Joshua's memory and make him forget that he's the Composer, though, so if you're close CR and want to handwave strange conversations because of it, I'm totally down!
The wastes expedition was another thing I was so excited for, but I still did not have the energy to toplevel or tag out, so to avoid burning myself out I kept it at Joshua sticking to Beat's side and reserving his energy (since Nephilim can't exactly snack easily out there). If you'd like to handwave something for that expedition, please let me know! I know at one point near the end, he at the very least attempted to fly above the fog (to no success), but otherwise he stuck close to Beat and investigated to his little heart's content.
Clotted Cream arrived this month! Turnout on that toplevel was great! He made a post about feet! That post ended up a little cursed but still fantastic! Pre-event, I was doing extremely well with him, but when the event hit I was knee deep in the exhaustion soup and I didn't tag out like I wanted to. I was hoping to branch out his CR a little bit by doing that since (as a not-yet-changed human) he wasn't going to go on the wastelands expedition, so I'd love to handwave anything during or after the event that might have happened, too! His event toplevel is here, but please mind the CWs as there is a LOT of heavy stuff there.
Harrier Du Bois cw: violent ableism
Before the event though, he had a great time merging into being with AM an just kind of hanging out and letting him drive their horrible mass of limbs and teeth.
His shared memories included: his experiences living in an occupied post-war nation under the bootheel of the moralist international, his fondness for Kim Kitsuragi and losing him, his public threats of suicide, but most importantly the meaty chunk of motive for this whole thing:
Last year Harry was murdered by Norman Osborn, who misunderstood Harry’s internal monologue as the cause for his violent and unstable behavior including the murders of Beat and Marco. He lured Harry into an alley with a Kim lookalike, interrogated him on the names of his 'skills' and killed him in hopes of removing his memories and his voices. This resulted in the loss of formative memories of his absent partner, Kim.
Harry spent the following months terrified of future ‘treatment,' believing he would be killed and stripped of more memories if he came forward with the truth. As he was already disliked in comparison to Osborn, why wouldn’t the monsters of Ryslig believe the doctor's hypothesis and attack him further? After already living as a disabled and wildly mocked human being it's not like Harry had any expectation of being understood.
He saw Norman's announcement on the Network about plans to make medication and spiraled further after his vague warning messages on the post were belittled and silenced. For all his spite and fear he was unable to muster up the gumption to do anything until the January Event where he blew up Oscorp.
Whay do you do when you fear misunderstanding and rejection and death? Reach out! What do you do when you’re Harrier Du Bois? Fuck up immensely. Add a body count. Plunge a city into chaos.
Now his human friends are dead (mercy killed at his hands, so no one would prolong their suffering) his remaining CR is in shambles and Harry is more terrified of death then he’s ever been. For now I don’t have much in the way of concrete plans and I’m just seeing where this mess goes. I’m documenting him like a naturalist.
Nagito Komaeda (cw: Danganronpa spoilers)
What Komaeda did this month:
I might be looking at wrapping up and/or handwaving these as they've been taking up so much more mental power than anticipated to try to work through. If you're interested in doing that, please let me know!
Re: Nagito Komaeda (cw: Danganronpa spoilers)
She will also want to know all about his adventure at the lake-
Gladion
Both those linked things are open to handwaving short/not-very-involved interactions to set up things for the future, if you like; meeting him at work to recognize him elsewhere later, or getting some less-interactive snippets of his memories for any purpose.

Riley Williams & Max Mayfield
Max was up to A LOT this month:
Overall I'm still tagging March things! But if something strikes your fancy and you want to handwave an interaction, go for it!
Triska | Mukuro Ikusaba, Ianthe Tridentarius
-Participated in the Lake Fors dive as a temp mer! Was quiet and kept to herself but did her best to help with relic retrieval.
-Returned to her werewolf self.
-EVENT: Was affected by the Pale Fog, in that a memory manifestation of her twin Junko was following her around, but otherwise kept a pretty solid grasp on herself to the point that she was doing rescue work for other monsters. Please feel free to ask if your character was one she might have helped escape!
-Went on the Wasteland expedition in her Fog form, helping to haul carts, escort groups into the wilderness and provide Special Jerky to hungry monsters.
Ianthe
-Regularly spends time in Bavan because while she lives outside of it, she works at the morgue. She also can't cook for shit! So your character may have seen her around the city getting lunch/dinner in all manner of places.
-EVENT: Had a fucking horrific time during the Pale Fog. Relived a mishmash of her most terrifying recent situations right before her arrival in Ryslig. After escaping that, she was still panicked and in a haze and ended up killing a Bavan human for feeding purposes, which also triggered another memory of her ascension. If you want to handwave that your character saw either of these, just let me know.
-After the event, she did return to work immediately but has been noticeably Fucked Up, especially the first day back. Extra pale, very quiet, chainsmoking. She's been much more withdrawn since too.
Sonic Wachowski the Hedgehog!!
Sonic's activities this month include:
Some of Sonic's memories that may have been seen:
If you ever wanted to know what it feels like to be REALLY FUCKIN FAST, feel free to have experienced it!!
Zangetsu!!!
If you were also a new arrival, you may have caught him at the Lighthouse being a little vulnerable and confused. He got his shit together pretty fast after that, though, and went on a bakery and snack terrorism spree. SNACKS!!! He probably also stole some nice clothes and other stuff. He is living at the 38-8!
He spent the entire event just hanging around in Bavan. Because of his nature, he was pretty in control of what he shared. He was always seen with a tall man with a cloak made of shadows and only ever shared memories of himself fighting Ichigo's enemies. But mostly??? He got a kick out of experiencing everyone else's stuff. Like he said to Harry, it was a good way to get a lot of living done in a short time!!
HE IS READY TO NOT BE A HUMAN ANYMORE. He'll be starting his transformation into a faerie soon c:
Spike, Souda, Alucard, Maya
Spike, who deals with nightmares a lot in canon, has been dealin' with them again— finding himself really easily affected by the fact it ain't warm and summery yet. He's made of desert plants that are really gettin' sick of this weather, and he's spent some time trying to learn how to better grow things while also slacking off and hanging with Vicious instead of Avoiding Him, for once. Oh, and pretty regularly going to work, except during the event itself, during which he slept for days.
Souda spent the event days avoiding leaving the house while hanging with Makoto. He very simply had a good time.
Alucard got bored of acting like a civilized person for a while and went into the forests and shit. He was absolutely affected by the event but he's already pretty used to being off his rocker so it was honestly kind of welcome. As a werewolf he operates on a stupid schedule of staying awake as long as possible and then crashing for days at a time, so there was probably a bit of that too.
Maya mostly didn't want to be obliged to 'participate' in much when the Flavor of the Month came around after some bad feelings during previous events, instead hiding out at Merain. She'll have been spending some of the month helping to confer her knowledge of Kurain's beliefs on Komaeda and some of the human members of the village, leaving Nai'a to survive on its own. Paychecks come as regularly as usual.
Abbacchio & Eddie
Abbacchio started the month off fairly strong, hitting up new arrivals and trying to be "helpful" to varying degrees. Early to mid-month was pretty chill, he had to do some "PR" because his business partner keeps getting into fights. With the event, I tried this time to stick with pre-plotted things and this worked out well, though I did get hit with inspiration pretty late and wrote a top-level, anyone is free to say they saw the events described in it. (As I said, I wrote this pretty late, and I mostly wrote it for me so I could put down on paper where Abbacchio was at!)
Other significant things that happened during the event for him was mindmelding his death with his not-quite-murderer, and experiencing some scattered memories from his brief stint as a cop. The biggest thing here is that he relived his death a second time, later in the week, with Sparkling. This time was much worse, and he ended up going back to the Grapevine with Sparkling from the 21st through to the 26th. His birthday was on the 25th!
Following the event Abbacchio went on the Wastes expedition, for those who have seen him around before, they'd be able to tell he is now sporting a drastic new haircut, significant given his hair was much, much longer. He came back to find that Sparkling enacted some sort of revenge on his behalf — the details of this are still being hashed out, but he's probably going to be back with Sparkling through to the end of the month.
Eddie… Boy did I really beef it hard this month with Eddie. I hyperfocused on Abbacchio and let him fall by the wayside, I've been struggling with his voice recently, but I'm hoping I can get back into the swing of things this upcoming month. I touched arrivals with him, but dropped the ball with pretty much all of those threads, and I'm so sorry. Throughout the month he probably wasn't doing a whole lot, so I'm happy to handwave any meetings that might have happened. For the event, I wanted to stick to pre-plotted things again, which ended up being Shared Trauma with Max. Fun!
I spent this month mostly tagging out. I endeavoured to try and do a better job tagging around, especially with people I might not have interacted with before! I think I did okay at this, though in hindsight I think I did end up taking on a little more than I should have. Still trying to find a balance, but thank you to everyone who threaded with me throughout March, I had a lot of fun, and I am more than happy to continue working on backtags!
Sparkling, Adrian, & Basil
-Became a Demon and proceeded to do Demon Things. He honestly spent a lot of his time enjoying being diurnal again and messing around with people, but typically in a less aggressively malicious way. He also lost his filter so he was saying shit left right and center that he usually wouldn't.
-Did not get caught up in the Pale Fog as much as some others, and mostly spent his time trying to round up the Cookies and make sure they were safe. He ran across the memories of a few and got a bit sucked into them, which BRINGS ME TO...
-Witnessed Abbacchio "die", both for real in memory form and what he initially thought was him dying, and discovered that Doppio/Diavolo (though in his perspective it was Just Doppio) was responsible. Proceeded to go on a revenge tirade about it and attacked Doppio after housing Abbacchio until the Expedition.
-Was then attacked himself by Diavolo for attacking Doppio, oops. Exact details are still being hashed out and threaded, but he will be going straight from Demon to Pooka going into April because he does NOT want to be a Demon anymore and will feel...immensely Bad about all of the bad choices he made in March. Plans to lay low for the next few weeks, sans hosting a little Easter get-together at the Grapevine.
Adrian:
-Literally Just Vibed in April until the event happened, at which point all hell broke loose and oh my god he had so many bad experiences it was a terrible time actually? But he also made some new CR which was great for him. He tried so very hard not to get involved with the melting which succeeded and the Pale was like "haha, no, no escape for you"
-He also got new fog boons from Mana though so that was one good thing
-The expedition happened and he didn't go because he has Wastelands Trauma, but his bf came back all fucked up and he was mad about it, fuck the Wastes all my homies hate the Wastes
-Helped Max deal with the aftermath of her first ever kill, realized somewhere inbetween all of that that he really needs to get his driver's license already
-Plans to vibe into April or die trying, please do not perceive him hes so tired
Basil:
-March was bad. Like all of it bad. Basil went through all of his changes at once through the entire first week of March and is now fully a Gargoyle Boy physically, save for a few changes he will be acquiring last in April which will be a surprise log that will help us later
-Fortunately he did not do any melting but gestures to the above changes
-The Pale Fog got him real bad, a scattered mix of very few positive to mostly bad memories from his home. He had an especially bad experience of it with Max and Gladion, but they managed to band together and power through it through the power of friendship(tm)
-Has plans to continue work on his little indoor garden, as well as help with a Community Garden at the Lighthouse as well as assisting Freyja with the planting of her apple orchard. AND helping Gladion with his Pokeberries. Basically if you want a plant planted he is your guy.
-April he too wants to just vibe but April.........is going to also be bad he just doesn't know it yet (he will be getting his hunger)
Altair (cw: memory loss, drowning, torture, some sensory deprivation)
For the memory share event Altair lost most of his memories. He didn't remember ryslig or what happened after his world was destroyed. The only strong memory he had was that he was a shadow mage and his sacred duty to be the witness to the memories of the dead, which he believed everyone's memories were. Shadow mages are the only living souls that can go into the sea of souls so he assumed anyone he met inside the Pale fog was the shapeshifting nameless goddess who gave him his magic. For anyone who knows Altair, specifically his hatred of the gods, would be surprised to find that he's somewhat friendly with his goddess. He was also less traumatized and more of a rebellious rogue who reluctantly accepted his role as a shadow mage.
Altair's toplevel focused on his memories.
His memories were layered. First you found yourself in the sea of souls, a dark, underwater realm with an endless symphony created from thousands of songs that inexplicably sound beautiful, and thousands of tiny star like lights. In his world these lights would be souls but for this event Altair's memories resembled souls. In order to access a memory you had to pick out an individual melody. The four memories you could witness were:
- a storm out on the sea of sands from his time as a fisherman which showed singing is tied to his fishing culture (something he suspiciously never talks about)
- arrested for fighting with nobles
- his best friend's betrayal which leads to him losing the vision in his right eye
- chess with his friends which is one of his happiest memories.
I'm open to late tags, or handwaving anything that interests you! Altair was convinced he was doing his sacred duty so he would not leave the Pale fog willingly. He was saved by Reira thanks to him gaining Tsukikage's trait that made him want to obey people, especially Reira.

Pannacotta Fugo
In terms of what he was around for though, Fugo was awake for the March arrival log and the Lake Fors expedition. I wasn't able to get a toplevel up/tag around on the latter due to said IRL circumstances, but I'd like to say that Fugo was there for that. So if you'd like to handwave anything with regards to that log, just let me know. Generally speaking, he would have been less helpful during the descent (he is not as fast of a swimmer, given that he is an octopus mer) but very helpful once they made it to the ruins. He also absolutely would have brought up more than a few of those pretty sparkly stones from the bottom of the lake because fish brain go brrr.
Lusamine | Shoka Sakurane (NEO TWEWY spoilers!!)
Event-wise, just as you should let me know if there are any memories you'd like to experience from my characters, please also let me know if there's anything from your characters that you'd like my girls to have seen. Both were wandering around quite a bit and surely walked into all sorts of awkward moments, so they are fairly well-suited for this.
For specifics...
SHOKA:
Had an !!Important!! friend from home (Rindo) arrive in Ryslig without any memories of ever having met her in person. This left her pretty shaken up for the earlier part of the month. Close CR is free to have noticed her acting agitated/distracted/in an especially bad mood/etc. She also participated in the Lake Fors expedition as a temp Merperson. Though she of course tried to be helpful to the group, she was noticeably distracted for much of it.
EVENT: Shoka travelled purposefully into the Pale Fog in an attempt to retrieve Nanami's missing memories—and miraculously succeeded! But not before getting herself briefly lost in the memory sauce (and needing to be rescued by Nanami and Rindo) as well...
Her memories included mainly:
1.) her death (drowning in her mega-rich family's pool and being worryingly fine with that)
2.) fighting and erasing/killing her mentor/sister figure, Ayano (It's Complicated)
If you encountered her memories in the Pale Fog and attempted to help her out (or just talk to her), she likely appreciated the feelings jam, but ultimately would not accept any offers to actually get her out of the Pale Fog, due to her being insistent on going in deeper to find Nanami's memories. Listen, she knows this sounds stupid but she knows they're out there, so back off. Source: just trust me, bro.
It was also her birthday on March 30th! It was nicer than expected, considering All This Bullshit.
LUSAMINE:
EVENT: Lusamine spent a lot of time wandering in the Pale Fog, at first due to disorientation, but ultimately out of an alternating desire to A) be reunited with happier memories of her family (before her husband disappeared) and stay in them indefinitely, or B) forget everything.
Anyone who encountered Lusamine during her wanderings may have had a memory of hers forced upon them. Options include but are not necessarily limited to:
1.) the botched lab experiment that led to her husband's disappearance
2.) child abuse greatest hits (please ask for details if interested)
3.) Pokémon/animal abuse greatest hits (please ask for details if interested)
4.) that time she fucked off into another dimension to live with jellyfish instead of going to therapy. As you do.
She would be resistant to any attempts by others to guide her out of the Pale Fog, so any encounters with her there would likely end with her simply wandering off.
Alternatively, in place of Lusamine, some characters may have encountered Lusamine's (delusional) memory of Nihilego, a funny little jellyfish creature that is very sweet and cute and wants only to give you everything you want. Characters who engaged with it would then be attacked and have the option of experiencing Lusamine's memory of being poisoned by its neurotoxin (a painful sting, followed by feelings of euphoria and a loss of inhibitions).
I will most likely be putting her on a hiatus for April, so... ICly, she will likely have immediately fallen into a coma upon conclusion of the event. It's unlikely that she even made it back to her apartment. Uhhhhh feel free to discover her comatose body, I guess!
Chiaki Nanami
March 4th to 8th
Turned into a whale shark merperson, gradually over the course of the day of arrivals. Gooped with a few people (off the top of my head: Saint-Germain, Gladion, Shoka, Sakon, and some of Tsukikage's debris), which was mostly an unpleasant experience but when it's your girlfriend it's not that bad actually.
March 9th
Lake Fors expedition. Nanami's larger form allowed her to bus merpersons more easily into the depths, especially much smaller ones. Messed around with some bones and got hurt by a chainsaw fish.
March 14th to 21st
The 14th was Nanami's birthdayyyy which she celebrated by losing all of her memories of home! Thanks, Harry's pale fog! For the rest of this week, Nanami spent her time the way she thought she usually did, as a nymph of eighteen years: keeping her shifts at the arcade and community center and morgue, looking out for her friends having trouble in the pale fog, making sacrifices to the fog, and not being affected by the memory soup at all.
During this period of time, Nanami freaked out some of her friends, lost a shadow game with Atem, and eventually rescued Shoka from the memory fog alongside Rindo. Shoka was able to successfully reunite Nanami with her memories. In the aftermath of the event, Nanami was very distraught! Feeling what it was like to forget all her friends from home was very traumatic, and she has renewed resolve to not let this happen again.
March 26th
In an effort to distract herself, Nanami went on the wasteland expedition. There the wasteland fog forced her into her fog form, which is somewhat useful but quite uncomfortable. Nanami has resolved in the aftermath to do whatever she needs to get away from her nymph form.
Yuzu Hiiragi
Anyways, in terms of what Yuzu got up to this month, she was part of both expeditions. She temped into a Mer for the Lake Fors expedition and returned to being a Harpy in order to act as eyes-in-the-sky for the Wasteland expedition.
As for the Memshare... again, I'M REALLY SORRY TO ANYBODY I MADE PLANS WITH... I completely flaked and that's my fault. If you would like to still thread it out via backdating or just handwave things happening concerning the mess of memories in Yuzu's head, feel free to let me know... and again, I'm so sorry about all of that.

Trish Una
Initial plans involved a trip to Lake Fors, which I will unfortunately not be tagging into now that a month has passed. For the most part, Trish would have piggybacked intensely off of Nanami and to a lesser extent, Fugo (since they had an argument prior to this outing). She would have been absolutely zero help other than being a scout due to the fact she can swim very quickly as a mer. And is even faster when scared, probably. Otherwise, she likely wasn't very useful when it came to the practical side of things, but having extra hands to carry off water-logged artifacts can only be helpful, right? So there wasn't much to miss out on Lake Fors, plot or development-wise.
ESSENTIALLY: world's snippiest mer complains that the artifacts feel like gross, gritty snot due to algae and shit, stays with her besties and sticks her tongue out at Komaeda from across the lake when he isn't looking, the end.
For the Pale, I'm planning on starting/continuing most of the threads I had planned beforehand, and have already hashed details out elsewhere. But to summarize what I'm aiming for: Trish will memory meld with multiple people while remembering nothing about Ryslig, so coming back to it will mess with her mind something fierce.
Fortunately (?), most of the people in these encounters are not people she sees often, and the rest aren't on speaking terms with her. Regardless, she doesn't want to be perceived, and the Fog must've heard that, because half her household falls into a hiatus nap. As such, she was entirely absent from anywhere but the Palazzo for the latter end of the month, and did not stay privy to the expedition to the wastes.
They could've found Elvis out there and she would know jack and shit about it.
But most importantly, to everyone who has been so patient with me: thank you!!!
