The Holidays are here, and for many of us, it's literal! With all the hustle and bustle of the Real Live Holidays, it can get pretty stressful though- and for that matter way too draining to put the same kind of focus on hitting inboxes one by one, or making lists.

Which is exactly what this meme is for! How it Works is simple- all you do is make a comment. It could have a list of goodies planned out for your monster's CR. It could be a simple statement of who should've got something, without specifics. Maybe a comment that just says, 'So and so made cookies for everyone', or 'So and so is a huge Scrooge, and got you nothing!' You can even leave it blank- a spot where people can drop gifts off to you instead, rather than seeking out the inbox. The world is your oyster! ....Tree. Oystree.

Reira has presents for, speaking frankly, a lot of people. You know those guys who start shopping in February? This, but she's doing crafts too. Giving stuff really IS the most important thing for her. Heck I've been taking notes down since summer.

That in mind, for her- and indeed most of my muses- not everyone is getting the same level of ah, intense. So there's going to be comments under here to keep things sorted; including one for anyone dropping stuff off for Reira! (I'll follow that pattern for the others too.)

Harry went Jamrock shuffling for Halloween decorations and discovered an abandoned treasure. A 5ft tall plastic blow-mold of a black kitten triumphantly lifting a giant light up jack o lantern over its little head.

Because of the awkward shape it was more than a little unsteady and scuffed from falling over, so Harry took the liberty of attaching it to a wooden base and touching up the paint.

The base itself is decorated with much smaller plastic skulls and pumpkins- clearly knicked from other products. They are carefully stacked and glued together to spell out REIRA.

Norman's gifts to Reira:
- A weighted blanket with the names of as many of her friends and family that he could think of embroidered on it - including those he's been told about who are no longer there, like Tsukikage. It's a patchwork of different colors and textures, meant to be a comfort in times when she needs it but may not be able for one reason or another to reach out for anyone.
- Three bangle bracelets of varying widths cunningly crafted out of wires and circuit boards, covered over in epoxy to keep them from breaking or being uncomfortable, with a pair of matching dangling earrings. One has a stud attached to a chain that can be put higher up in her ear.
- A copy of The Secret Garden, mostly just because he thinks she'd like it, and Books Are Good.

Andrew also sent her a box of Russian Tea Cakes, which are little ball-shaped cookies covered in powdered sugar full of chopped pecans and vanilla. Shh.

COOKIES + CHARMS

For a certain number of people, Reira makes various Handmade biscuits and cookies and pastries, bundled in cheesecloth and plastic sacks, tied around with a ribbon and bead keyloop- or specifically, a keychain passing through its own loop to form that knot.

The colors vary monster to monster, but each keychain has a charm from Merain for the focal point! They're based on each recipient's monster form, not unlike mana coins are. Wolves for werewolves, etc.

For others, Reira instead made carved walnut charms, which she's been working on throughout the year. For these people, they're fairly simple, with a carved animal inside following that same 'monster pattern'. Snakes for naga, and so on- but they also come with a cookie bundle, just like the above! Most of these people are also receiving fingerless gloves...though, for some reason, Steve is getting a hat with 'ear sleeves' on it instead.

'BIG' GIFTS

Atem receives a tape-recorder with numerous blank tapes, and a reminder that the 'play tomb' made for him and Ray to share IS still there- and available to hang out in. There's also a note that offers the idea of using the blank tapes to make 'spoken diary entries', as in Reira's words, 'Sometimes when we write stuff down, we're missing the feelings. This can help with that.' The walnut charm he receives has a little fidgety bit inside that he can spin.

Josh is given a set of clay figures made to look like the cryptids as described in different broadcasts of 'Beyond the Veil'...the key word being 'as described'. Some of these are pretty good! Each are wrapped up in something soft- the soft things total to a set of knit gloves, and then a large scarf-hood. The walnut charm he has seems to be capable of playing certain simple tones if you blow through it.

Beat is given a kit to make custom pins using pictures from magazines and such! He also gets a big puffy winter vest, with a note that says 'Because you don't have fur there :['. Beat's walnut charm has what seems to be metal inside...oh! It's supposed to be a castanet!

Lion gets a set of kelpie friendly soaps and shampoos, that Reira notes were really nice when she was a kelpie! Though if they don't work out, Lion ought tell her! Lion also receives a set of knit leggings meant to go over their legs. Their walnut charm has a wobbly horse inside. Neighhhhhhhhhh...

Peter, after a long mental debate on what sciency thing is hardest to get in Ryslig, gets an ASTRONOMICAL TELESCOPE! ...This was very hard for her to pull together actually, on account of the fact that no one in Ryslig sells or makes them. Took a fair bit of finagling suffice to say. The card- which comes with a little rubber stretchy arcade alien- admits that she had a lot of ideas, but picked the one that would probably be most surprising. Peter's walnut charm has a spinny mouse inside of it. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee...

Javert is given a claybox full of blood related baked goods, and a note that warns him not to waste a single bit of it- but also to please, please, pretty please try to enjoy it. He had also, she warns, take great care of the rest of the gift, and not get rid of it; namely, his Walnut Charm. Despite her personal feelings, she's put a little spiral of fog inside, painted in soft silver. If a breeze of fog were to pass through the holes, it would move nice and spooky-like.

Harry gets a lot of walnuts. There's one for every skill in fact. Each one has a little carved 'something' based on what Harry told her of them- as well, those who would enjoy badges- 'Club PSY' as he called them, get unique badge pins, slightly different between the associated skills. 'Club PHYS' instead get little bouncy balls she painted accordingly. Likewise, Club MOT gets a pen per skill, equally customized. There's a note that says she didn't know which books Club INT would like, but that she's made a list of 'pretty good ones' she's found over her time in Ryslig that she can lend.

Lastly, for Harry specifically, she makes a very special badge he can clip to his jacket- its backing opens to hold a little bit of note paper with a pen, and if he moves the clips from around the badge's edges, the plate spins!

Mukuro gets a lot of hot chocolate mixes (without chocolate, so...Hot something?), all in a handmade mug made to look like a cute puppy. It comes with a spoon, and a little electric plate that can be plugged in to keep it warm. The plate also looks like a cute puppy. Mukuro's walnut charm has a 'dancing wolf' inside. It wobbles back and forth, like a play bow!

Nanami gets a little booklet inviting her to play video games with her in 'That Arcade', adding that she can get away with visitors for 'a pretty long time' before the robots start getting fussy, and if they hide up in her room there it can be pretty cool. She also gifts a packet of the unique arcade prizes from in there, since she knows Nanami might be interested in those, and wouldn't otherwise get a chance. Nanami's walnut has little hearts inside! Three, on little poles, that can move up and down. The other side has a message that says 'you're great!'

THE BIGGEST GIFTS

• Doppio and Diavolo receive a large, matching pink blanket. They also receive matching coats...also pink! Getting one that would button around wings was interesting. Each also receive little walnut charms, carved into little scenes with their monsters inside...or in Diavolo's case, a little bird. Shhh. Secret secret.
  
  
• Marco and Fiddleford in the trend of matching gifts, get a blanket she cobbled together from a heating blanket and a 'breathing' blanket. Or rather, one that doesn't really retain heat. It's a blanket they can share! But like, without one getting way too hot or too cold. Maybe? Maybe. ....It probably won't work that way at all, but the thought was there. Marco's walnut charm has a little octopus with a computer. Fiddleford's has a little snake working on some ~mysterious machine~.
  
  
• Otto and Norman receive a paired gift as well, no doubt after a lot of squinting around corners and mental comparisons to other couples she's seen. She ultimately settles on matching knit hats, an incredibly long scarf (which can, in fact, be separated- it's buttoned together), and similar matching pillows...though it looks like the expectation is that they use them for backrests while reading, as they seem to have pockets at the sides for books and similar. Otto's walnut has a little waterfront scene inside. Norman's has the woods. They're both free of a specific subject, since they're mostly to be pretty.
  
  
• Sonic is given a rather risky gift- Reira tried to create a sort of 'hedgehog outfit', something he could put on to protect himself from snowmelt and such that would also make him resemble his normal form. It's essentially a hedgehog snow-suit. She even included goggles. ....Okay. (Credit where it's due though, measuring a sleeping robot is hard.) He also gets a walnut charm, with what is Probably meant to be a spinny hedgehog in a little maze.
  
  
• Trish, in the interest of not making the grandest taboo possible, does not get anything in pink. Doesn't even get a coat. Actually, now that she knows of Trish's musical tastes, what she receives is a large, and honestly very nice (considering the limitations) Karaoke box. The card with it notes that Reira knows full well there's places with karaoke rooms, but sometimes you just want to have fun music time at home! She's included a few tapes of music she thinks Trish might like, as well as a little stuffed bear (black, not pink). Her walnut charm meanwhile has a tiny bear rocking out with a guitar at Libeccio- heck yeah!
  
  
• Yuzu is given a nice travel mug with different things for specialty coffees, possibly just to be cheeky. She also gives her however, a new pink backpack made to more easily be worn while in flight- it's decorated with various leather dyed flowers. Inside are a new set of harpy friendly toe-less boots! Yuzu's walnut charm has a little harpy at a coffee shop till.
  
  
• Fugo, in proper holiday form, receives...a mug of holes!??! Well sort of anyway. The holes are of course far more varied in their sizes, making a mug that looks more sporadically pock-marked, and for that matter, they are just holes, and not hearts. But still! It comes with instructions for care (It's a strange mug!), and a bunch of hot chocolate packets...and those aren't just cheap hot chocolates! Naturally he also gets more than just this- Reira has also included a scarf, because you can never have too many of those. His walnut charm seems to be a little pizzeria scene.
  
  
• Giorno in Reira's experience, gets himself stuff pretty fast, so Reira has in fact made a stuffed ladybug. You are never too old, for stuffed ladybugs. And honestly sometimes you just need one. Or two. Or even three. Giorno has in fact received three handmade ladybugs, with five spots on them. All of them are protectively hiding a little cookie jar in the present box, and the cookie jar in turn has...not cookies! It has some nymph friendly bath bombs actually- as well as his walnut charm, which has a tiny version of his hometree inside. Notably, the ladybugs seem to have some kind of smell to them. ...Lavender maybe?
  
  
• Abbacchio, perhaps as a bit of a joke, has a bunch of oddly colored juice mixes. That feels mean. He also receives however, a new set of makeups- she did her best to match his aesthetics and current stuff- and what she calls 'wing cozies'...which is a fancy way of saying 'here's some knit cozy blankets that button around your wings when you want to be extra toasty'. Squint, and you might find floral patterns in the knitwork. Abbacchio's walnut charm in any case, has a little dragon having tea at Libeccio inside. If you put it over steam, it'll look like the dragon has smokey breath.
  

Because Reira is Reira, who has considerably fewer moral standards for Elias than one would suspect, and more in the vein of his over all methodization, Reira, still ever fond of the data chewing mess, got him a gift too!

...What was the gift? Well! ...That's a secret. It's to be determined and then backdated in prayer,

But for the curious, even HE got a walnut! Carved to represent the former Arcade's prize table, with a happy little robot inside...and made so that he can loop some cables through it. What's he even going to do with that Reira!!
