-Peter Parker is neutral and trying to figure out ways to depower the gods.
-He posted on the network about it towards the beginning of the month under an anon handle.

Now I'm planning on doing an in person log for characters to talk amongst themselves and come up with a plan on how to depower the gods. Peter is going to pick a random warehouse in Bavan's outskirts (FAR away from W.E.B, lol) to host the meeting. He'll be leaving a distinguishing mark on the building's door (a yawning face for Exhaustion) for people to follow.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS:
Otto is a physicist, former supervillain, tragic widower with massive Dad vibes! He's a Merperson living in Hill House and got a job at Liewen Labs, Bavan Branch. He's teaching some Physics classes at the school too, but that's being handwaved. He's technically background tech support for W.E.B., but very very very offscreen.

Steven is a pathetic meow meow- I mean a beautiful British nerd who comes with a love for history, a superhero alter ego (Mr. Knight) and a CW for Hollywood DID. Also, he's vegan! He's living at the 38-8 and will take a job at Triffany's history college. He's also a mentor figure within W.E.B., an actual active one, but preserving his secret identity isn't something he cares about. There's only one aggressively British Neph with distinct wings like that in Ryslig.

Rose Quartz is a whimsical, flighty, no-longer-magical woman. She got assigned Demon, but won't start her changes until this month. As a Gem, she knows very little about how to be human (or even organic in general) and loves learning about these things. She doesn't really get it, but she's got the spirit.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTERS WILL BE DOING:
Steven will start hosting crafting night in his apartment, taking over the torch from Tawna Bandicoot. I meant to put up the log last month, but what with the Red Haze event and all the hiatuses, the timing didn't work out. Maybe this month?
Otto is now signed on with the Fourth and might go Tier 2 this month, if Felfri actions do indeed still count for climbing up to that tier. No real plans other than that!
Rose will be going Demon during this first fog of the month, and will probably get all changes. It will be painful, she may need some help. Also, she'll be getting Lion from Mana! So if you want to pet a big, pink, fluffy lion, this will be your chance.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
Steven is always up for anything and everything, but yeah, interest in the crafting log would be fun!
Otto should mingle with other Fourthies some more. Rub some elbows. But even in general, I really need to get him out more and expand his CR pool. I'll see if I can toss him into the Nattensfest log with a market and a mall prompt.
Rose needs a bit more tutoring in being organic, and even more tutoring in being a Demon.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS:

Peter Parker: Peter is a eighteen-year-old teenager superhero. He's Spider-Man! He's lived through some wild shit in his own way. Peter is naturally anxious, a little dorky, and eager to help people around him. He takes far too much responsibility on his shoulders and over-extends himself. One day he'll learn to relax. He is one of the founding members of W.E.B.

Leonardo Hamato: A fourteen year old former mutant turtle. He is a ninja, but an awful one. He's only kind of trained in the way of ninjtsu and tends to make things up as he goes along. Unlike every other version of TMNT, Leonardo is the family clown. He makes jokes constantly, he's loud, talkative, and prone to high dramatics. Given the chance he'll lean into being seen as cool over competent.

Leo is used to being around his brothers all the time, so he's having an odd to rough adjustment period. He's overcompensating by being very loud and abrasive. He feels very insecure about his place in the world, so he tries to make sure no one forgets he exists.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:

Peter: Running W.E.B, trying to adjust to being back in Ryslig. Along with trying to see what he can do to MAYBE get rid of both gods. I posted the idea in the big events section on here for anyone interested.

Leonardo: Being a fourteen year old with no sense of rules or schedule. He's used to managing himself just fine (Thank you, Splinter!) He's going to be exploring Bavan and complaining about not being a turtle anymore.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: AS ALWAYS, i say everything, I love a good chaos.

Peter meeting folks who are pissed at the gods to hear their perspectives also aces. Also some more teenaged friends would be dope.

Leo also needs some friends, mostly anyone who can handle his very loud personality. Thanks to the red haze event, he's ironically going to align himself with the 4th.

Dee is a rude, insecure woman who wants to be liked and accepted by people while also self-sabotaging many of her attempts at making friends. She's loud, awkward, opinionated, and often ill-informed about things. She's Doing Better, thanks to being separated from the Gang, but she still stumbles pretty often.

Nancy is a studious, determined, strong-willed young woman. She's observant, inquisitive, and interested in learning more about Ryslig. She's been pretty quiet, as she tries to adjust to her new life. She wants to go home more than anything, but knows that it's... unlikely.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:
Dee hasn't tried scamming anyone in a while, so I kind of want to go back to that, and have her try and do something that ultimately blows up in her face. Otherwise, she's just hanging out, trying to live her best life. And it's winter, so Dee plans on testing out her immunity to the cold. She's ridiculous.

Nancy is trying to build her new life and career in Ryslig. She's very focused on learning more about the world around her, but she has a lot of Home-Related Problems on her mind as well.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
Dee: An attempt at scamming someone, with chaotic consequences, could be very fun. I've mentioned CharDee MacDennis before, and that's still on the table. I just need to find an appropriate time to try and introduce it. More drinking competitions are likely on the table. AND I still would love for her to try and direct a play. She's... working on it. Slowly.

Nancy: She's starting up a newspaper in Bavan! And she'll be getting the rest of her mandatory Neph changes this month. Otherwise, I'm just looking to build more CR with her now.

This also means he'll be buying holiday gifts for folks as well, so if he knows you (W.E.B. folks, anyone he's talked to more than twice in person) or works with you (The Lucky Crew) expect to get a scarf in some colour that is associated with your character.

Sure he misses them all terribly, but he's surviving. Is tiny and scrungly. Is a Shade. Hates being a Shade. Is going to somehow find out about Mana's 20% Off Permanent Species Change Deal next month and will be all over that like white on rice. He's also a newly minted Fourthie!

Horatio has been here two years! He just turned sixty in October and is having a Lot of Feelings about A Lot of the things that have been going on - both at large and with his friends. He's a 2nd tier Foggie with no ambitions to rise, but is more than willing to help others with their plans to that regard. He manages the Lucky 38 Casino and helps run The Lighthouse and its offshoot The Faros Academy.
Norman is a Fourthie, angling for Priest, and has been working on monster-safe psych meds at Oscorp with Emily Gray and is basically Science Dad to a whole bunch of teenagers. He's dating Otto Octavius and Bruno Madrigal, they're a very happy little circle of supportive dudes.
Ronstadt is still happily helping Mr. Oskar manage & take care of the 38-8 Apartments! He's got a radio show on Phil's station, has a little part time job at Wasn't Bound Yesterday, and is currently trying to pretend he doesn't have some serious feelings for his roomie Hanna.
Andrew works as accountant for Korra at The Devil's Nest in Djavulenstad, but is also doing a lot of research into Bavan economics and getting his foot in the door with a few investments of his own, starting this month. He is surprisingly easy to get along with as long as you don't try to recruit him for a God or start talking philosophy with him.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:
Horatio will be hosting a holiday party at the Lucky! I plan on having a big open log go up early this month so that people have plenty of time to tag in. He's also going to try to catch up with old friends this month since there are no newbies for the Lighthouse to deal with!
Norman will be taking it pretty easy this month, wanting to spend the holidays with his Hill House friends & family, but I intend to toss him at the log for some Nattensfest shopping shenanigans too!
Ronstadt is definitely decorating the 38-8 ... think Clark Griswold and you're about there. He's been through a lot of crap in his first year here, and really wants to make with the merry to try and offset it.
Andrew is a double-decker sauerkraut and toadstool sandwich with arsenic sauce, please antagonize the hell out of him.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
- I would love for Horatio to find some instructors of "monstering lessons" for the Faros Academy - he's going to put up a network post asking about it soon.
- Norman needs to get to know his fellow Fourthies a bit better: I'd love for him to run into a few in the Arcade or around Bavan ... or maybe even in Haftesal if they're still okay with the scientists there.
- Ronstadt is a bar-crawler, he should meet more party animals! I'm also going to toss him at Steven's craft night, where he'll be desperately trying to harness any sort of artistic ability and failing miserably. He's also an amnesiac and I really want to dig into that meatiness a little bit more with anyone who'd be willing to!
- Andrew needs more horrible business friends, partners in industrial greed and blatant self-serving tendencies, that sort of thing. GIVE ME YOUR NASTY FOLKS.

ANYTHING ELSE: Since the holiday season is a busy one at work, I'm back to mostly tagging in the evenings (EST), and I am going to start dropping some of the older Felfri stuff to focus on new things unless threads are really important to know where our CR is at. Also, I'm willing to share/stream canon for any of my four if the interest is ever there. Commissions will be opening soon as well!

He doesn't particularly care about humans since in his home world he was a demon and was very 'over' the whole being dead thing. It wasn't a big deal there so why should it be a big deal here?

HOWEVER. After experiencing human emotions for a while he's starting to develop a conscience. He's also got friends now and he cares about what they think. Oh no!

He's just a weird little creature of a man he will sniff you and maybe bite.

WORK - Beetlejuice has recently (as of the very start of December) become a bouncer for Korra at her bar in Djavulenstad! Come have a drink with him, get friendly and frisky--or get rowdy and see how dedicated to his job he is.

PLAY - BJ has friends in Bavan and it's where he does most of his hunting. He's always around sticking his nose into goings ons.

MAYA! Used to be a medium in charge of a village, now takes care of a bar and a fisherwomen village. She usually comes across as a pollyanna, but she's been really down lately missing Dandy and her family from home, who she hasn't seen in five years.

KAZUICHI makes a better gargoyle than he did a dude, honestly, and still manages to continue his job as a mechanic here in Ryslig. Since he's so determined to "do better" despite the cannibalism, he spends a lot of time working on his projects— but he's very social and loves chances to hang out with the bros.

SPIKE was a bounty hunter before he got here and a mafia hitman before that. His past is catching up to him, but he'd like to continue running.

Finally ALUCARD is literally Dracula, but later on in life when he's been experimented on and repurposed to kill neo nazis. He has a special opt *in* on my HMD that you can access via the other three's journals for now, so you won't get any of the WWII-related content or the other sensitive Non-Dracula issues regarding Alucard unless you opt in.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: I personally am continuing to take it easy for December after some really hard months IRL, and so these guys will be continuing to be low key as well. But in particular...

SPIKE's lifelong bestie Vicious just remembered the part of their lives where Spike killed a lot of people to try and get out of killing Vicious and then tried to run away with Vicious's girlfriend. That was three years ago for Spike, but very fresh for Vicious! So Vicious was as he is named and killed Spike during the rage event. So shit's a bit weird, but it's fine. Spike's just going to spend a lot of time out on the streets, which means he'll be spending a lot of time bitching about being cold, because he's a nymph. Prime opportunity to get in on CR with him.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: while I really am up for almost anything (that at least starts out low key; we can totally plan for things to get more intense in a few months but I usually have to dial back on intensity through the winter) I also specifically want to make more connections with Spike and Alucard.... which I know can be hard because those two are the biggest disassociators and can be a pain in the ass to get close to. It's probably easy to get some good, fun-and-or-funny negatie cr with them too— and Alucard's drive for fighting ~~and masochism~~ makes it even easier.

Souda could also use some more connections, and Maya's always easy to work with. Maya in particular would like to keep better track of the lives and needs of those who work for her at Nai'a, and Souda could use more hands at Kazmotors garage.

Plus, while I'm starting plans slowly for now, I'd like to put in the work to extend Kurain's trade influence and get more business going and maybe make it a little more accessible to other monsters.

ANYTHING ELSE: YES around this time of the year like I said everything slows down for me for very much not rp related mental health reasons so I appreciate your patience through this time!! I am totally up for planning things that start low key and get more intense with time, but I don't want to let anyone down, so I'd rather avoid getting too involved in anything that's super time sensitive for this month and next month!

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Alfred is a former vampire hunter, now a Demon and a line cook at the Casino! He's a ray of sunshine without a mean bone in his body (unless you hurt someone he cares about). He's been in the game for a year as of today!

Kronid is a scrawny, filthy street musician currently hiding the fact that he was a thousand year old vampire before his arrival. He's an awful person, but he's playing nice for the time being. Don't worry about it. =)

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Alfred is one of those guys who is WAY too into the holidays! Besides just going all out with Holiday activities, he will be hosting an informal party at the castle just before the midmonth event! I will post the network invite sometime between tonight and tomorrow. (He has ALSO gotten his Fog Form for the first time and is convinced that he is a Krampus, but is choosing to cope by figuring it is Festive.)

Kronid absolutely loathes the holidays, but will be using this month as an opportunity to hustle easy money playing carols and offering music lessons to people gifting instruments.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: DO HOLIDAY STUFF WITH ALFRED! He'll have the party, but the answer to whether he would meet up with your character for some holiday fun is always YES. I would also like for someone to tell him what an Incubus is, because he genuinely has no idea why his fog form is so.........sexy, and not red-devil-scary like he expected.

I would love to get Kronid in the mix a bit more - follow through with some of the requested music lessons, so on, so forth. He's moving into the 38-8, if anyone cares to be neighborly! He's pretty easy to throw into lots of scenarios, so I would just like for him to dig more roots in.

ANYTHING ELSE: Usually this month is kind of crazy for me, so I do apologize if I'm a bit scattershot. That said, I'm home sick for at least the week, so I'll have a great foundation for once to do some stuff!

Also, I would once again like to stress that Kronid is a BAD MAN currently playing at being good. His permissions go into detail about the kind of stuff he is capable of, and I just want to be very very upfront so his inevitable betrayal won't catch anyone off-guard! CHARACTERS: Michael & Ingo
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS:
Michael is a former demon turned Heaven Head Honcho who is now a werewolf! He's currently living in the 38-8 and working as a bartender at Horatio's casino, and is not aligned with either of the gods because come on guys we as immortal beings should be better than this.

Ingo is an amnesiac Pokemon trainer from the distant past but also the present at the same time due to time travel he didn't realize he did! He's working in the Bavan subway right now due to his brother, and also living in 38-8 with Emmet and Gladion. He's a manticore, but hasn't had any changes yet.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:
Michael doesn't have anything huge going on, but he will probably be doing his first hunt early this month! As an ex-torturer, he won't have much trouble with the practicalities, but he'll definitely feel conflicted and bad about it afterwards! While he doesn't celebrate any holidays of his own, he'll likely toss himself into Nattenfest as a distraction and because sweaters are funny.

Ingo is going to get pretty much all of his manticore changes at once this month so he's going to be experiencing a whole lot of pain! Afterwards, maybe someone can teach him how to fly before he just jumps off a roof to do it.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
Michael could use some friends and possibly a werewolf pack! Hunting is more fun in a group! He's also starting to drift towards being involved in Peter Parker's potential God Murder Squad, possibly as the only responsible adult involved, which is......genuinely terrifying tbh

Ingo also needs more social connections outside of his little Pokesquad! As mentioned before, he may need some monstering lessons this month, so that might help!

NAME: Nichole
CHARACTERS: Altair
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: A former shadow mage now turned troll, which is perfect for someone with a ton of repressed anger at the world. He doesn't trust easily and he tries to keep people at a distance with a cutting words and a violent attitude. Despite the walls he puts up, he truly appreciates anyone who manages to sneak past them.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Sulking while he tries to get rid of his artist block. He lost the memory that sparked his love of art and it feels empty now but he refuses to lose art on top of the precious memory. Winter is also his least favorite season since he grew up in a desert so he's extra grouchy. Nattenfest is complicated for him. The friend that taught him about Christmas died a year after she shared the holiday with them so it feels tainted. He was starting to get past that but losing his love of art has made Christmas planning a nightmare and reminded him of that loss again.

As far as general plans go, he went on a bit of a murdering spree thanks to the red haze so he's avoiding Bavan for awhile.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: My plan is to take it easy for December but please drag my grinch into some holiday fun! He needs it!

In general I want to start playing with Altair's thoughts about his true inhuman self more. He has kept it hidden for a long time but recent events have reminded him of his true self. (thanks Felfri) Also I love sharing lore and Altair has opened up/doesn't care about hiding anymore enough for him to share some. My other main focus for awhile will be his art so anything with that would be great! Losing his love of art is huge for Altair and I want to play with that more.

As always I would love to do more with his dark side. He has too many good influences lol. Friends are always welcome though! I love how much his friends here have helped him grow.

Other than that the usual suspects are: rivals (particularly with characters from a more elite background. He loves tormenting nobles), chess players, fellow criminals and thieves, fellow artists, detective cr! He works at Cassandra's Juno Steel Investigations and I would love more cr with his coworkers and it would be hilarious if his secret side job as an art thief got tied into it somehow. Also bakery cr! Altair has taken over Annie's Loaves of Love with Peace's help and he has secret love for baking. It's a great opportunity to see a gentler side of him, as long as he can stay in the kitchen and not deal with customers. He doesn't have the patience for that.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Atem's an undead pharaoh who wasn't buried right and is making it everyone else's problem, current Fog priest and monster swiss army knife. Sherlock Holmes is Sherlock Holmes, but 21 and suffering from hallucinations, amnesia, and false memories. Frogwares looked at season 4 episode 3 of Sherlock and said, "I can fix him," except instead of the plane is a girl!! WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Atem turned his brain off for December and is being a little shitlord of a pooka. Not much to say there! He's on vacation.
Holmes is going to act as coroner in La Forteresse and is currently wrapping up the Red Haze event cleanup and categorization. He is trying to figure out what happened while he was blacked out, and find the people whose blood he woke up with on him.
SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: I have plenty planned for Atem already, but I wouldn't mind opportunities for him to be unhelpful to someone in trouble and "I-told-you-so" vindictive. He's not aggressive, just...selfish.
Holmes is the one I wanna focus on! Please let me know if he can recognize your character from their kills that pass through the morgue! He's going to be keeping a mental catalog of all the human remains from monster attacks, noting sizes of claws/teeth/etc, and will be comparing these profiles to the people he meets. He won't be able to tell anything about monsters who eat their prey whole or don't leave anything behind (or bring the remains to the soup kitchen), but kills that leave a body will be observed and categorized.

Other than that, I encourage everyone to attempt to get him to be social, instead of hanging out with corpses and then going home to an empty apartment!

I need to specifically note that I am delighted with Tom & Jerry nonsense thus far but Ianthe is also very used to handling someone who is dealing with hallucinations and false memories. So like. Perhaps over time fondness will grow from The Goofs, permitting he is able to take responsibility for murdering her in the street that one time.

some general stuff about Harry’s MO for Holmes! Sorry there’s a lot here I had fun thinking this over. TL;DR his behavior isn’t necessarily horny but it isn’t not horny either. He contains a multitude and some of that multitude is weird psychosexual fixations.

At the moment he needs to eat a living person at least once a month with his big stomach mouth, but the number will increase as he’s messing around with his god boons + is becoming addicted to it. Just hauls people to his tummy to get chomped. Effective and simple.
(Still enjoys cooking and will do the whole butchering thing in Dyster with Dyster people, so no remains for Holmes there.)
Religious fixation on lungs. Will carefully remove them and eat them if they're clean. Will discard lungs if 'unclean.' Treatment of discarded lungs ranges from sentimental, careless, or actively spiteful. (might tear them up or stomp them into the ground)
Leaves IDs on victims, takes valuables or things that catch his eye.
Victims tend to be younger than him and conventionally attractive.
Touchy and sentimental with corpses he makes or just finds around. Will sit with them, stroke hair, clean their faces, touch their chest for an Elysium burial rite etc. Depending on how his conversations with them go.
Example: will wash the calloused hands and feet of a manual laborer or paint a woman's nails with polish he finds in her purse. Regardless of how old or nasty a corpse is.
His behavior isn’t 100% consistent because movie event really fucked him up and he has his pre existing religious fixations. BUT he is always touchy with remains and generally brings an upset and confused vibe to murders.

edit: just want to add a general note that Harry is particularly violent with the older and disabled because he cannot stop projecting his self hatred on folks for even five seconds.

Some of the exsanguinated corpses Holmes gets will vary from all other vampire kills! Notably in the following ways:

- Visible tooth marks in the neck vertebrae, consistent with bite marks on the neck, suggesting that this vampire has ... really really strong fangs somehow. (Hint that he can figure out somehow if you like: they're made of iron.)
- ALL victims are low, low, LOW class, found in areas where homeless people, charity cases, and beggars are particularly prevalent
- In at least one case during the Red Haze, whole nuclear families were found together in this way. Time of death analysis will show that the youngest was the first to die, and then the killer proceeded in order of age through the other victims.
- If Holmes knows his folklore, congratulations, he's discovered a Russian Upir!

CHARACTERS: Bucky Barnes
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: A sad scrungle who landed in Ryslig immediately after falling off the helicarrier at the end of CA:TWS. Recovering from brainwashing, torture, and HYDRA in general, and has issues with Hollywood DID, PTSD, abuse of pretty much every kind, and general trauma, if any of that's offputting.
WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Bucky declared his intent to give up on soldier'ing and become the June Cleaver of single dads, having more or less adopted Leo Hamato (the little green turtle fairy that he currently is). But SURPRISE, turns out Bucky's got a unique fog form where he turns back into the Winter Soldier...but the Winter Soldier is currently confused and bewildered because no one's around to hold his leash. It's a time.
SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Bucky's struggling in general with life. He wants to just hunker down and hide from everything going on with the god war and people's dogs in that fight, and raise his newly acquired troublemaking kid, but let's be real: trouble finds Bucky. You want to be involved in/cause some trouble? Bring it on.
