NAME: AgentKaz
CHARACTERS: Dr. Robotnik
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Dr. Robotnik is a misanthropic scientist who prefers machines over people, blah blah blah. He's a faerie, which is the one thing about this place he really likes. He spends his time trying to leave and also improve local tech but this place is so frustrating that he clearly hasn't made much of a massive dent in anything... which is itself frustrating.
WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: He's doing the usual try to figure out how to get out of here thing and dealing with all the various ways his work gets annoyingly interrupted as usual. His archenemy is turning into a robot, which is something he gets to study, so that's cool.
SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: He definitely needs reluctant friends despite claiming otherwise. Beyond that, other science types that he absolutely ends up having to work with is always fun. I'm also obviously up for negative CR, since he's not exactly very friendly. It's all good.

NAME: Naem
CHARACTERS: Marco Evangelisti (peccatore) and Vinegar Doppio (epitaffio)
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS:
Marco is the resident computer nerd and Fourth priest with good intentions and a never-ending guilt complex. He has some brain problems he's been doing his best to manage, but he refuses to leave the Fourth God despite the fact that it would be undeniably positive for him - this is because he's grown too attached to someone he sees as a boy who never had the loving father any boy deserves to have. He's joined up with the Lighthouse, but it seems like he hasn't done much strictly in its name since Fiddleford stepped down.

Doppio is an unassuming young man - older than he looks, in truth - who was once the most trusted subordinate of a mafia gang's powerful Don. Now... things have changed a little bit, but his loyalties have not. He also experiences blackouts sometimes. During those blackouts, which tend to happen every few fogs, a monster with the same weird hairstyle as him goes around feeding, being reclusive, and denying any relation he might have to Doppio. It's probably nothing.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:
Marco has been recovering from the hellpost in October where everyone just kind of shouted a lot in his head and also the Fourth God touched on the very thing he's most afraid of. Little by little, he's starting to engage with other people again, but I don't have any super specific plans!... Also I should probably mention the specter of the theater was TOTALLY modeled after him, you heard it here first--

Doppio didn't do much in October aside from a horrible guts-based Mana quest (from which he gained a very limited form of future sight), but I'm definitely looking to get him doing more this month! I'm not sure if this is when the whole Clinic Debacle is going to be resolved, but no matter whether he's ultimately fired or he quits for good, he'll probably be looking for a new job. Or, well, a new source of income. He has the only job he needs now.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: copy-pasting as usual wheeee

On Marco's end, there's his helpful nature, his fear of committing missteps or even just slipping up in a way that clues people in to what's wrong with him (did I mention he has tons of internalized ableism? Honestly, he could probably use some friends with similar brain problems) and his stubborn refusal to wash his hands off of god matters despite being unwilling to engage in violence or anything exceedingly assertive. His behavior can certainly get on people's nerves, even loved ones, as it can sometimes feel like he refuses to stop being paralyzed. He doesn't want to be pushy about recruiting people to the Fourth, but... he's been making a BIT more of an effort to spread the word, as of late. Just a bit.

On Doppio's end, there is still SO much to explore. He's still very attached to his life before Ryslig, and the fact that uhhh his life before Ryslig is basically here now does not help. He's genuinely good-natured, but at the same time, he can have violent mood swings caused by certain specific triggers that easily lead to turbulent situations, and his distaste for the gods could have unfortunate results as well - although... he may now be a bit grateful to the Fog for bailing the Boss out of a terrible situation? Also, he is still very much in denial about anything being wrong with him, now or in the past or ever, but who knows how long that will last now that the giant pink hangry deer that Doppio SWEARS isn't him has hurt someone he cares about. And speaking of which... I might appreciate some help in keeping Doppio involved with all sorts of characters! He has his dream castmate now and he is very devoted, but I have no interest in becoming insular. o9

And for both in general? Honestly, I'm always open to Horrible things. Funny things as well. ANYTHING REALLY?? which is not what we're supposed to say on these memes, but it's the truth, sobs.

ANYTHING ELSE: I try to get to tags at least once a day when I'm not swamped with work or familial obligations, and I CAN get a little neurotic about it when I'm not able to fulfil this baseline standard - I'm trying to get better about that, though! Most importantly, however, I absolutely don't hold it against anybody if they're slower (or faster, just for the record).

Also, keep in mind both of my characters have opt-outs in their journals that can be used for any reason. Thanks for reading! o7

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Nadia is the Countess of Vesuvia, a city-state in a faraway land that was once wracked by plague. Youngest of seven, royal by birth, and a widow after her husband the Count was murdered three years ago. Nadia spent those three years in a deep, magical slumber and has just now woken up to discover that new mysteries are plaguing her kingdom. Nadia is intelligent, a talented mechanical engineer, and very kind. She enjoys the finer things in life, but she is also quite reclusive without some kind of purpose.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Nadia has actually been very reclusive during her time so far in Ryslig, so I am hoping for her to meet some people that will get her out of her apartment and more involved in the plot!

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Tea dates, bath house meetings, drowning people and sucking out their life force, adjusting to a more modern world shenanigans? I would also love for Nadia to get to ride a horse at some point because she misses it!

Constantly running like 5 cons, all of which are doomed to failure because he's very good at starting things and very bad at sticking the landing. Has a lot of opinions, all of the time, and is not afraid to voice them. Sassy gay frenemy. Running PR for the Ring-Spirit's cult and planning an Event for the Lucky 38.
WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: This is a great month to obtain one's fog form! And by great I mean oh god make the pain go away. Once Marik is done having a crisis and has completed his transformation into a twelve-foot gold demon, he'll be learning how to navigate. Also he's getting the Demonic Evil Nature. This will be very hard to distinguish from his past behavior he just might have a little more fun being an ass.
SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: I'm up for just about anything, but I'd love for Marik to make some more terrible friends to not realize are friends and instead think he's really good at this minion-recruiting business. Alternatively, as he is currently under the impression his actions COMPLETELY lack consequences, prove him wrong. Kick his ass.

CHARACTERS: Ryou Bakura

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Ryou is (as indicated by his username) a generally softspoken, caring guy. He loves boardgames, sweets, and hanging around people he likes, though lately he's been going through some Stuff and it's made him a little extra snappy and prone to say things he shouldn't...and which he regrets almost immediately. So fun times!

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Ryou is temporarily a WEREWOLF this month, so he's going to spend a lot of time acclimating to that (esp once i get a log post up like damn bitch u live like this? slow???). He's going to be living his best life for a month (barring whatever happens midmonth), because he won't be forced to devour souls and honestly, meat-eating is the easiest and most accessible feeding type (minus blood) if you don't actually want to kill someone.

...Which he will. Because uh, hunting instinct. But he hasn't got there yet.

Also he is going to do a baked goods table in the 38-8 to apologize for screaming his head off while his head was off and also haunting the building when he got a power up. Literally so many people have told him he doesn't have to apologize but HE'S DOING IT ANYWAY!!!

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: I want there to be so much in this month. ;7; I'm considering extending the temp if I can't hit all the beats I want, but here's a few of them

-- Other werewolf interactions. I want him to meet other boofs and lose his mind to the instinct of just being PALS!!!
-- Hunting. Not even just people, he's gonna hunt for fun...but not for sport, because whatever he catches he'll eat. He's a little glutton.
-- Pet. Pet him. Pet the wolf. unless you are an enemy he will melt.
-- Baked goods, he's gonna be doin it y'all and I'll make a coinciding network post with that log so you can visit for free or cheap baked goods!
-- Help him figure out why he wants to chew everything or how to stop his tail from destroying everything in its path when he's happy
-- If you're good CR or he meets you and immediately grows fond, suddenly find yourself as part of his circle of friendship, which means you're Pack, and he will be really extra nice to you.

Negative CR is also welcome if it comes up, but talk to me about it, I want Wolf Month to be mostly positive esp after he firmly inserted foot in mouth on Aunamee's post recently. Let Wolfvember be good. Boy needs a break. His boyfriend's already gonna be Judge Dredd for a month and that's gonna be fun. :')

ANYTHING ELSE: RL has been rough lately, so I tend to enter MANIC TAGGING STATES and then just fall off. If you need me to prioritize something, let me know and I will oblige! Also this isn't a gif but I like it anyway.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: A magical former queen from an early 19th century nordic kingdom called Arendelle, Elsa has endured plenty of hardships and a terrible host of self-worth issues that tormented her for most of her life. Nevertheless, she's a deeply loving young woman with immense compassion, willing to make immense sacrifices for those she loves, and after several journeys of self-discovery and self-acceptance, she's finally come into her own as a guide and protector to those who need it.

She's been in Ryslig for years now, so it's hard for things to surprise her, and she's learned how to dig in and help others weather out the storm of events that befall them every month. Or, at the very least, she tries.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Elsa's getting married this month, to her wonderful werebear girlfriend Cassandra!! It's... tomorrow actually. That's the big thing of course. Invitations were sent out to all friends and generally positive CR to the two of them, and there have been notices around the Hyacinth House; it's a small casual party held at Solsikke, and pretty much anyone can come and party-crash or whatever! Elsa's happy to just see other people happy, so if you want a good chance to strike up some new CR or wanna rekindle some old stuff, this would be the perfect opportunity!

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Elsa really needs more folks to help bring her out of her normal mild-mannered shell and cut loose. She's been comfortable as she is and isn't opposed to joking and teasing with others, but she's still somewhat introverted and prone to simply working and spending time at home. She needs more people to drag her out and show her how to live a little!!

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS:
Beat's an adult on technicality only whose a full blown delinquent dork, with a heart of gold and a head of fluff. Seriously, the lad is dumb as bricks, doesn't understand idioms, but by god he will fight for your right to partybe happy. He has a lot of love to give and loves making friends. He goes into big brother mode with anyone younger or who seems younger than him, has authority and parental issues, and loves to give nicknames to anyone and everyone.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:
Beat will have gone through the first part of his monster puberty, so he'll be gribbling about Bavan trying to get used to the physical changes, while still doing his delivery job. The social need is going to kick in hard and he'll start gathering a (mostly npc) little gang of fellow idiots to take over an abandoned part in the mall and be a menace to mannequins in. And do gang things. Also tagging around to bring a little color to Bavan with stupid yet cheerful graffiti, then boarding away from cops while flipping the bird.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
I would totally love someone just joining in on the gang thing. Be a part of stupid shenanigans which is going to be mostly just hanging out, eating shitty mall food, and discussing things while riding shitty mall rides. I love casual and hand wave CR the most, cause lets be real, Beat will make friends out of a brick wall if you let him. Please also let him ride on your shoulder or head like a certain something. Eventually he'll get his oath-bound nature and I'd love to fiddle with that by getting him into Stupid Promises.

Negative CR is welcome as well, cause quite frankly, he does have a problem with authority and those who try to bully or otherwise negatively impact others with their attitude or demands. He will gladly throw down fists to defend others, even if it means getting his ass handed to him.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Atem's the spirit of an ancient pharaoh who died to save the world from terrible evil that his uncle was absolutely responsible for. He was sealed into an evil artifact that was split into a puzzle, and when a horribly bullied Japanese teenager solved it in the 90s, out he came, steeped in dark magic for 3000 years, with no memories of his former life but all of the memories of that teenager, so he decided the best thing to do was use the magic to torment and kill bullies with sometimes-magic, sometimes-just-dangerous games! Think edgy teenage Jigsaw, if Jigsaw were about punishing you for hurting other people's feelings and also was secretly lonely.

In Ryslig, he's still killing people with games, thanks to an apprenticeship to Amanda Sawfranchise for a while before she disappeared.
WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: This month, Atem's temping to nephilim by accident! He bought a neat little remote-viewing power from Mana, where if someone draws a symbol, Atem can see and hear what's happening around it for a short time, but a neph temp got mixed up in it. This means his plans to make himself into an urban legend (he's attacking affluenza teens/young adults behaving badly, especially at parties, and wants to get people to draw his symbol on their own in situations like that to see if he comes, so that he can decide if anyone here is hurting the people around them enough to eat them) have to be put on hold because he's lost all his stealth and usual abilities.

However, a nephilim's sense of swift and furious justice will lead to him making some bad choices. He can't do his usual careful research, and he'll assume he understands situations at face value: his victims won't be selected quite as carefully, and he'll be less willing to let things he doesn't agree with slide. All his traits that make him a bad fit for Ryslig will be amplified. He's gonna be judgy, and I apologize in advance for everything he's going to say.
SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: SO MANY. I only have this temp for a month, so please bear with me as far as this wall of text goes.
1. I want him to get into fights with people he thinks are bad. The kinds of things that'll raise his hackles are things similar to canon scenarios: people much stronger picking on people much weaker, whether that's physical strength, social clout, or money. Hurting people's feelings, telling their secrets, stealing or breaking something they care about, enjoying being cruel, all of this will set off the neph rage. I am absolutely willing to have him lose the fight if that's what you prefer, or to have your character get revenge on him for it later, once he's a less OP monster type. I expect this to damage his relationships. Again, he's going to jump to conclusions faster than usual -- you do not have to be bad for him to get into it, he just has to think you are.
2. I want him to use stigmatic healing at least once. This is a guy whose response to "you can save the world, but you'll die" was "guess I'll die!" He won't take just any injury, but I'm interested in having him do it.
3. People finding out he's a serial killer, but like, a flashy one. It's possible his murders have been on the news: the people he killed early last month had their ribcages opened and their hearts removed, and he's been cutting his symbol into the bodies. (This is part of a plan to protect his friends, if you'll believe it.) There have only been maybe half a dozen of these deaths, but like, they're attention-grabbing and the victims aren't low profile. Also, many had dirty laundry come out after the fact: scam charities, selling drugs around youth shelters for fun and money they absolutely didn't need, using connections to take advantage of people, etc.
4. Having to do completely normal things as a fancypants angel. I want big Cinderella-dress-at-the-McDonalds-soda-machine vibes. It's an incredibly over the top neph design and I want comedy beats of him having to deal with it.
ANYTHING ELSE: He has an opt out for the torture games and all the other questionable subjects in his canon and a remote viewing opt-out. Oh god this temp is going to be so messy. Oh god.

CHARACTERS: Abigail Hobbs
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Introverted, observant, vulnerable girl with daddy issues, unsure where she fits on the killer to victim scale.
WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:
Abigail just passed her one-year anniversary in Ryslig and definitely considers it her home now. She pledged to the Fog in the summer and is becoming something of a fanatic, though she doesn't realise that this has begun to alienate the people she cares about.
She spent the last event killing Night and Day followers in the past so they couldn't get to Elias' cube. She works as Javert's personal assistant and lives at the 38-8.
She spends her free time doing botanical sketches in the public parks in Bavan, as well as hanging around coffee shops, and honing her hunting skills. Her eternal struggle is with seeing herself as both a killer and a victim, and she's leaning hard into embracing her identity as a monster as a way to ignore the guilt she has about her involvement in her father's crimes back in her own world.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Friends, parental figures, good and bad influences, romance, enemies, you name it - but in particular friends near her own age, other Fog followers, and people with more of a darker moral compass to influence her.

ANYTHING ELSE: Warnings for murder and cannibalism in Abigail's backstory. And I'm in GMT so my tags aren't always the fastest.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Phil is an egotistical weatherman who gets thrust into an endless time loop during a routine report. He's been stuck in the timeloop for well over a decade at this point and hasn't been able to form relationships or dealt with consequences for so long that he has a hard grasp on both of those at this point. He is also struggling with his incomplete character arc and is desperately trying to convince himself that it didn't fuck him up horribly (it fucked him up horribly)
WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: This month Phil will be dealing with a lot of monster growing pains, as well as finally having jobs both as a theater actor and as a weatherman/radio host at the new Amusement Mile's broadcasting station! I plan on making a post about the later sometime later this month so look forward to this asshole yelling at everyone in Ryslig at 7 am
SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Give me some of that sweet, sweet negative cr, especially where Phil experiences consequences for his actions. Phil hasn't exactly been horrified by this place yet beyond a couple of panic attacks and I want him to Suffer a bit more than he has been.
I would also like to do more threads of Phil struggling to reintroduce himself to society in a normal way, along with time shit and confronting himself eventually that he is deeply traumatized and how he needs to verbalize that he needs help.

More specifically I would love to do some things involving either his new jobs or him testing out how he suddenly has weather magic!

CHARACTERS: Peter Halloran from Mine Own Brain
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Peter is a Catholic priest who accidentally stumbled onto an extremely violent Demon Situation 12 years ago and has been trying and failing to cope ever since. He's a fun mix of kind of goofy and fun as well as extremely traumatized and often unpleasant because of it. Since being in Ryslig, he's become Shadeified (tm) and is feeling pretty bad about it.
WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Right now, he's coping with his first monster changes! It's Quite Rough at the moment but he is practicing being more tangible and learning Shade Skills. More generally, he will be putting feelers out for potential jobs, as his previous career path is not exactly relevant anymore. He's on Indeed for Monsters.
SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: A few different things, though he's so new that anything is welcome! Peter is debilitatingly private about his personal life, so having him get Peeled by someone is always fun—he hates people prying into his shit, but I love it. He also generally needs more friends because he's a lonely, lonely boy, especially now that he knows literally nobody. He could also always use enemies, which is remarkably easy considering that he is both kind of rude and also will hold grudges FOREVER, even without the Shade revenge trait. Overall, having him do increasingly more unethical or just morally compromising things is the goal. Implicate him in some shit. Let's gooooo

She has done some terrible, horrible, no good, very bad things that ultimately laid waste to her once-happy family life, and instead of going to therapy like a normal person, she decided that it would be better to just run away into another dimension and leave all her mistakes behind. Now that she’s in Ryslig, she is… essentially doing that same thing again. Just with fewer jellyfish this time (long story).

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:
Lusamine will have gone through her first changes into a faerie (based primarily on Pheromosa and real-world cockroaches), which she is… probably a little too excited about. Her first changes are relatively subtle, so she will be eagerly (read: impatiently) awaiting her future, more dramatic changes as she continues to make a new life for herself in Ryslig (another thing she is probably a little too excited about, having little to no desire to return to her own world).

Aside from that, she recently moved in to the 38-8 Living Complex (to her chagrin; she is completely new to apartment living) and will be looking into opportunities to increase her social status in Bavan (getting a job, ingratiating herself with the elite, etc.).

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
Since Lusamine is new in town, I’ve mainly been focusing on just building CR of all kinds! Lusamine is very excited to meet all of the delightful monsters and animals that live in Ryslig… and I am very excited for her to meet as many characters as possible so her inevitable ventures into the deep end later down the line will hopefully have more horrified onlookers.

For more specific things…

Adopting more monster kids. Lusamine has a habit of asserting herself as a mother figure over… basically everyone and everything, but especially younger characters. If you play a sad child character, Lusamine is their mom now (unfortunately).

CR with other parental characters. Lusamine’s relationship with her actual children is complicated and strained, and her husband is also a sensitive subject, so discussing parenthood and/or marriage with others is likely to make her Feel Bad… and I’m always here for making Lusamine feel bad.

Semi-related to the previous point, I just really enjoy any opportunity to force Lusamine to reflect on herself and her past actions… Though she is generally friendly and polite (and private/understandably resistant to actually discussing her prior life), she is still prone to delusion and can say and do some very callous things that might unnerve or upset others, which... might lead her to think more about her inklings of guilt and reassess why she sucks so bad.

I really need to figure out where she’ll be working… There’s a lot of potential options with her (she’s interested in fashion and cosmetics, she has a background in the sciences and wildlife conservation, she loves animals, she has a bit of a gardening hobby she’s been neglecting, etc.), but I just… can’t… decide…! If your character has a connection to a business/volunteer opportunity in need of someone new on board, please let me know!

CHARACTERS: Riley Williams
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Former cheer captain living with homicidal ideation, not helped by The Monster Thing. Riley is very maladjusted but pretends she's not, preferring to put on a sunny attitude until she positively snaps. She's aware of all this and trying to improve but it's a long, long process. Constantly stressed, like palpably stressed. Someone get her some xanax.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: SO Riley is in a canon update coma until the 8th, at which point she's just going to be Really Not Doing Great. None of this is helped by the fact that she won't be able to reach her father figure, because he's not here anymore. I'm gonna have an open log for this, but a lot of sulking on building tops since she can fly again, being self-destructive, and murdering a lot of bad parents she spent the last month observing. The soup kitchen is going to get a very generous donation of mutilated bodies.

When she's not being self-destructive, she's going to flip rapidly to self-indulgent and just...start collecting things she thinks are nice. Usually sparkly things, bird instincts, you know? A lot of these are going to be cursed objects because Riley's very very weird.
SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Alright I actually have like. A list of various things I'm interested in this month, both types of characters and basic scenarios.

• Parental Figures
  Riley is going to be aching for parental approval even more than usual with Eridanus gone and some upsetting things in her canon update. I'd love for some adults for her to get her weird projection/attachment thing on, whether that's necessarily good for either of them or not.
• Murder Buddies
  Kind of self-explanatory. Riley's MO is going to be killing neglectful parents, maybe sometimes leaving one alive but maimed with a warning to be better to their kids. She's found her serial killer niche at last, and I'd love for her to have some people either to do these killings with or to talk to after.
• Mental Health Help
  As of September, Riley no longer has a therapist because hers was gaslighting her. She's REALLY afraid of medical professionals right now, and really hesitant about reaching out and being vulnerable with herself again, but if there are any out there, she's due for an actually good experience in trying to get herself "better."
• Musical Scenes!
  As of last month, Riley's got musical powers! I haven't used them much so far, but if you are interested in a scene where everyone breaks into song and (some) dance, please check this form! These are opt-in only so I'll never use them in threads with folks who aren't interested.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: A very quiet and soft wolf exterior that hides a deeply fucked up and violent teen who was a child soldier starting at around 13, then went on to kill and maim countless people before helping end the world for her sister, shortly before her death at said sister's hands. She's spent a few months finding her footing and learning how to like... exist, and now she's slightly more at ease with her place in the world.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Mukuro's growing into her life here in Ryslig, including dedicating herself more to being a Fog rep. She plans to keep tiering up and gaining power that she will then use against people who Deserve It, aka Aunamee and anyone else who threatens her small group of friends. Learning more about the peninsula is also something that interests her, especially after all that last month. She also works at the Lucky 38 as chief of security and lives in the 38-8 apartments, so it's easy to come across her there or in Bavan at large.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
-At this point she has a pretty solid group of friends, shockingly. I think it would be fun for the ones who see her as just a sweet fluffy puppy to learn about all the murders and war crimes she did. Complex Feelings/CR is always interesting!
-On that note, if there are other villains out there who want their shit to get wrecked by a vengeful werewolf, she's available!
-I also think it's fun when more normal people learn how absolutely horrible her life was, and she still needs to work on socializing and found family and such.

Once you get to know her, though, she's constantly stressed out because being Riley's best friend is stressful. Frequently looks at things and throws them over her shoulder to be a problem for future Cairo and is absolutely shocked when, like, it's a problem for future Cairo. She's bi as hell and DEFINITELY not in love with Riley. She has a boyfriend. What? His name? Sorry, she has to go. Someone's calling her name.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:
It's her birthday this month! Praise her!!! She's turning 18!!!!!

Anyway other than that, Cairo has gotten a part-time job at an antiques shop where she keeps bringing home gaudy costume jewelry. You might have seen some of it make an appearance as Giorno's Halloween costume! The reason it's not full-time is she's nocturnal so basically she works 2-3 days a week sorting through new finds and taking care of late-night, by special appointment transactions. Also routinely pops into various detective agencies, says a bunch of gossip things she's learned recently because of her job, chats for a few minutes, then leaves. Frequently now has a cat on her shoulder because she taught Maple bad habits and he likes to go Outside now.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
- Someone teach her how to fly. Preferably someone without feathery wings, bc sometimes Riley says shit and Cairo's like "I have no idea what you're talking about.

- Ask her about Riley's powers. She'll deflect like hell, because she's NOT having fun with people know that everything she said about her hometown is a lie.

- Twilight. "How is Twilight—" LET CAIRO TALK ABOUT TWILIGHT SHE WANTS TO RECREATE THE CINEMATIC CLASSIQUE, VAMPIRE BASEBALL. Despite a few emotional hiccups, she's a brave, reliable friend who cares far more than her serious, surly disposition might suggest, perfectly willing to jump to the defense and fight for her friends. After several years of emotional breakthroughs and soul-searching, she's finally become the person that she wants to be, and she couldn't be happier or more free.

Tyreen, born on a mysterious alien planet to the galaxy's first Vault Hunter, quickly decided she wanted to be a god and set out to do just that. She started the largest cult in the Borderlands, an endless horde of raving lunatics all worshipping the twin gods they followed. And Tyreen has just the right amount of playfulness and bloodlust to keep them in line while she throws endless bodies at her quest for godhood. It doesn't matter how many people die, just that she gets what she wants, also that it's fun.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: Cassandra's getting married this month!! To her wonderful Nymph girlfriend Elsa!!! And it's... tomorrow, as a matter of fact. Invitations have already been sent out to all friends and generally positive CR to both her and Elsa with all the necessary notes; it's going to be a smaller party held in Solsikke's garden. Even if you don't have positive CR with the girls, you're perfectly welcome to crash this party and strike up some new CR (or potentially have a werebear pick you up and bodily throw you out of her wedding).

Tyreen, is going through her first round of Faerie changes, which I think will involve gaining a distaste in lying - which will noticeably frustrate her. But mainly in general she's still new to Ryslig and is getting a good scope of the place while she thinks about getting in with the Fourth God.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Cass owns a private investigation office!! So if your character needs to hire a detective for any reason, feel free to drop into her office, or even inquire about a job if you're looking for work! Also please send her CR that will get her to live a little more.

AM is a supercomputer created for war, but whoops he gained self awareness and nuked every human except for five, and tortures the five for over a century, planning to torture them for basically eternity because he really, really, really hates humans. He turned into a demon here and he still hates humans and loves torturing people.

Phoenix is a young defense attorney who is very moral and always wants to fight for good and defending the weak and blah blah blah! He is very much not an ambulance chaser, as he will absolutely only defend those whom he truly believes are innocent. He's also kind of sarcastic at times and past his canon point becomes a weird hobo. But here in Ryslig he instead became a harpy.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:

AM has been... around. Doing stuff. He always has the greater plan of usurping both gods and becoming a hellish god himself here. Otherwise he manages the second Liewen Labs location and is the Punitive Director (see: torturer) at La Forteresse.

Phoenix was recently violently killed by Aunamee while trying to help out the Fourth God in the last plot. He has been through a lot lately and is not doing very well mentally. He's trying to hold it together though! But having to eat people to survive is really hurting him to his core, and then dying because he was trying to save someone... not fun! So he's dealing with that. This might spur him to get a legal system off the ground.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:

AM - I am interested in commiserating with or inspiring fellow villains. I am also very much in love with negative CR and would love to have him bicker with people. If you want anything horrible to happen to your character too, AM is your guy. I also love having him appear as an innocent, charming demon guy to others and slowly warping their minds or playing puppeteer.

Phoenix - I would love more negative CR for him too. (lol I love negative CR, what can I say?) More villains to dunk on him, perhaps, or people to argue with, or someone to shove him into a trash can. Also people for him to play dad to. TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Mobius is a former agent from the Time Variance Authority who recently found out they're full of shit and maybe one single timeline is not the ideal. He's analytical and curious, and while that tends to make him empathetic to people as it means he is interested in understanding them, it also means he can be a little manipulative in his efforts to gather information. Most of the time, though, he just seems like a nice older guy with a mustache. And now he's a nice older guy with a mustache who's half spider.
WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: I have no SOLID plans yet, but largely Mobius is just figuring out what he's doing with his life now that he has one. He's also kiiind of avoiding Loki. (For reasons yet to be threaded.) He's going to be trying a bunch of different hobbies and jobs because when you literally didn't really think you were an actual person until recently, you don't exactly know where to start. I think the time shit will particularly be drawing his attention to the Historical Society and to Elias because what's his deal tho.
SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
-Mobius tries a new hobby. For this I'd be looking for people who are part of/host clubs or other hobby-type activities Mobius could get into. Ideally things that allow and spark conversation about both of them, so not just, idk, competitive sports. How does a spider play basketball anyway. I'm up for lots of instances of this and chances are Mobius will keep revisiting these since practice makes perfect and all. He's canonically interested in jetskis so anything water-adjacent is probably more likely to draw his attention and be *fucking hilarious* because he doesn't know that's an arachne weakness yet.
-Mobius tries a new job. For this I'd be looking for people who are up for Mobius working at their PC-run businesses for a hot minute and whatever the fallout might be for that. He's smart and all, and suddenly very spider-meticulous, but I can imagine there's certain jobs he would not be good at in the least lmao. I'm up for multiple instances of Mobius popping up at different businesses and having it go terribly or him just decide he isn't into it...but hey maybe he'll like it. We'll see!
-Mobius tries out his new spider powers. I have his new abilities for the month listed on his monster info, but he's still working on the web stuff tbh lol. TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Javert; a self-hating cop finds who new life as a morally dubious but still bizarrely principled Monster prison warden. Lawful Neutral sometimes swings hard for Evil or Good, depending on how much his feelings hurt. Bitter when he perceives others pretending to be what they are not, or enjoying a relatively charmed existence by behaving like it's possible to be both A Good Person and a Monster. Deeply confused and wounded at heart. Doesn't shy away from doing what is necessary (read: monstrous) to teach his enemies a hard lesson.
Father Gascoigne, blind bird-man who is completely not self-aware. At all. Faintly recovering memories of his life now that he's been forced into a detox from Yharnamite blood.
WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: I'm on hiatus right now, and don't have much to say right here. Javert is fixated on finding creative ways to bring monsters to justice while adhering to his own twisted moral code -- by his own brutal hand or by society's judgment. Gascoigne has a few 'beasts'/monsters on his list he is intent on hunting, and I want to move him toward a monster-hunter-of-monsters status.
SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Honestly... as much as it's nice that Javert has moral struggles going on, I really like playing a villain. I like it when other characters don't trust him and he surprises them occasionally. I like it when other characters have damn good reasons to hate him.

I don't know if I necessarily want him to be saved, even, and I think maybe he's already given up and doesn't think he is able to be saved, though I can easily see him pushing others to take a different path from his. He doesn't 'love' murder and he doesn't 'love' torture, but he does get a monstrous and disturbing satisfaction from treating people with brutality when he deems them worthy of it. He found some renewed purpose with the latest 'time bubble' event where Elias played his hand, and he explicitly offered himself as an agent to quash rebellion amongst Monsters. He would do whatever it takes to stop another war like that from happening. I've always been interested in playing an unrequited ship or complicated friendships/romances with him, if anyone feels like they have someone who will fit the bill.

Right now he's in a dark place after Black Hat held him captive and Rey (his pretend-daughter from an AU event months ago) was murdered by Aunamee, and my head's a little addled from exhaustion. If anyone feels inspired by this and wants to offer up something, please let me know. I'm happy to work with anyone who is interested in playing with me!

Gascoigne is still kind of getting his feet wet, but I want him to go hunting with a few people (and maybe turn on them if he goes a little... off the rails). I'm also working on recovering his memory slowly and starting up some more birdlike habits, like nesting in the belltower of a cathedral or church-equivalent in Bavan. :)

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Ben Solo is the son of Han Solo and Leia Organa, who from ages 23 to 30 operated as the darksider Kylo Ren. First as apprentice to the Supreme Leader and then as the Supreme Leader himself. In the final hours of his life he turned to the light and reclaimed his birth name before giving his life for Rey.

Ben is very much his father's son, without the guise of the darkside and needing to be dark and brooding, he's kind of more of a himbo than he once was. That doesn't mean he's not without his anger, or guilt or regret - he's just gotten much better at masking them.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: After Rey's murder he kind of went off the deep end and publicly announced his intention to find whoever killed her and bring them to his own kind of justice. He is also looking for more information on the God's and wants to speak to their followers.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: He needs friends. Or enemies. Or frenemies. Would like for him to get into more trouble. I'd also like for him to slip and get a little murderous and have to wrestle with that vs who he's now.

Altair Altair is a shadow mage that was stranded on Earth with his friends after their world was destroyed. Altair comes from a nomadic desert world with a steampunk-like noble hierarchy. He was the first and only commoner to be chosen as a mage. The years he spent as an outsider among a vicious noble court because of a choice that was forced on him and the consequences of being a shadow mage have left him scarred. He is haunted by the dark choices he has made to protect his friends. He’s very secretive and distrusting, especially towards kindness. It’s safer to keep people away but he also desperately wants to be accepted so he ends up caring for more people than he should and he’s fiercely protective of the people he cares about.

Soo Won Soo won is the charismatic young ruler of Kouka who likes to hide his secret cunning behind a friendly face. He is a lovable martyr that will do whatever it takes to achieve his goal, even murder if he has to. His kingdom comes before everything else.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:

Altair - continuing his quest for answers with the Sea of Stars while trying to balance his relationship with Annie with everything else. He needs help on the relationship side. He doesn't know what he's doing.

He has been trying to be as much of a ghost as he can. He doesn't have to worry about enemies if no one knows who he is but his time as a ghost is coming to an end. Ryslig has forced him to be more active lately and his circle of friends and acquaintances have grown, especially now that he in a relationship with Annie. Altair has always lived in the shadows and he is very nervous about stepping out of those shadows. A huge step towards this goal was finally telling Annie about his dark past. He's still very anxious about her knowing the truth and he's worried that Annie will be hurt by being with someone like him but he's trying.

It got lost last month but Altair is finally going forward with his anonymous artist persona. I will get a network post with that up soon.

Soo Won - Soo Won is still new so he is still settling in and getting a feel for the place. He has been spending a lot of time with humans to try to understand how things are from the human's perspective. His main goal is to get back home but he is very sympathetic to the humans and wants to try to make their lives better while he is trapped here. He can't help himself.

He is also going through his first changes where he may have accidently given a bunch of humans terrible nightmares, and one unlucky monster. He is going to do something to apologize for that but I haven't decided what yet. He also needs a job.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:

Altair
- Now that he is less worried about being a ghost anymore he will be more tempted to go
back to one of his favorite coping mechanisms, fighting! (the kid event was a fun lead up to this) He loves to fight and he has gotten rusty. While he would prefer find a private sparring partner so he can keep his weaknesses hidden, sometimes the thrill of a fight is enough to forget being careful. (especially if his opponent is entitled or rich. Please give me rich people to torment!) I'm interested in both options. The sparring partner will have to be someone he trusts but we can work up to that if you are interested.

- reluctant relationship advice. Altair is clueless about how to be a boyfriend and I would love to play with that more. He is usually very confident and I'm excited to play with his awkward cute side more. Just being known as Annie's boyfriend is going to be very weird for him. He's used to people hating him not this. He likes it but it is completely uncharted territory and because of his past as a hated shadow mage, he's worried he will hurt Annie's image because she is with someone with him.

- I would also love for more people to stumble on the dark side he keeps hidden. Altair has a nasty habit of leaning into his dark side when someone accepts that side of him. Now that Annie knows his past he will be tempted to slip back into some of those habits. He destroys his museum exhibit every month so people don't find out about it, if that interests you. I'm also considering having him embrace hunting more as a way to deal with his darker impulses.

- other people interested in ryslig lore, specifically the sea of stars and fellow artists or clients for his secret paintings. I'm determined to do more with his art.

- I also would like to do more with his cr in general. I think I've made him a bit too much of a ghost but I don't have that excuse anymore so I plan to have Altair do more with people. No more ghost for him. He has to interact with people more, the horror!

Soo Won
Everything! He's new and I'm really excited to see what he gets up to. As a well intentioned murderer can go both ways, dark or light and I would love to play with both types of cr. Negative cr is really fun with him and this lovable martyr needs friends that will bully him into thinking about his happiness for once.

I want Soo Won to get involved with the humans. Soo Won has always prioritized his people over everything so he is going to take the humans side over monsters and I'm excited to play with this perspective.

ANYTHING ELSE: Altair past comes with some dark subject matter. He rarely talks about his past and I try to gloss over the darker parts rather than go into detail but he has an opt out on his journal just in case. Soo Won also has an opt out. He has a spoiler from the manga that I try to be vague about but it is hard to leave out completely.

Due to health reasons my tagging isn't always consistent and I have too much fun writing. I tend to be overambitious and turn into a snail. I apologize for being slow and thanks for being patient with me.

CHARACTERS: Niina Yamada from Blue Reflection Ray
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Niina is a tsun teenage girl who tries to hide her lack of knowledge with edge. She used to be a Reflector, a magical girl that ostensibly protects feelings. Except she was running with a group of Reflectors who were stealing feelings and leaving the majority of the teenage girl population in her city in comas!

Then she decided wait feelings are maybe important and she switched alignments. She's turning into a robot here and is sincerely missing her Oneesama--er--sister, that lead her into that magical girl business. So she joined the Fog god to try to regain that sense of purpose. She might have a guilt complex about hurting so many people.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: She's just started her journey to become entirely inorganic! It's painful and yet she's trying her best. She's got a job at a local grocery store in Bavan and moved into the apartment complex.

Niina also, unfortunately, is also going to spend a lot of time in Dyster because her small apartment there gives her far more comfort. This means she'll be growing more swayed to the Fog cause even though currently her thoughts are 'we don't have to be serial killers to serve her, I just want to be strong enough to defend my important people'.

She's also going to probably get some inquisitiveness later this month so she'll be asking for trivia friends.

Also Marik thinks she's his minion when she was trying to sass him.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: She needs to bond with more teens, honestly. She's wary of adults as a rule (though she's lightening up on this) so she'll let her guard down more with other teenagers.

That said, because of her abused background she does lack adult role models so if you want a sulky teen robot daughter? Niina is insanely loyal if she likes you and honestly, even if you have ulterior motives as long as you're nice to her? She'll do a murder for you.

She also likes poetry and will find a love of trivia (because robot) so finding similarly minded people will make her happy.

Also for someone to find out about her Dyster hopping habits. Enable her? Stop her? Both? I'm up for it.

Basically I'm eager for CR and for the future.

ANYTHING ELSE: Niina has an opt out post because she does have a backstory of neglect and abuse. She doesn't like talking about her past but due to this past, she grew up fairly isolated so I won't dive into it too much without warning.

CHARACTERS: Maya Fey & Souda Kazuichi
TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Maya Fey— former spirit medium & legal assistant, current mascot of a bar and leader of what is essentially a fisherwoman commune. Born to be comic relief and assist other characters, Maya's learning after four years here that her pollyanna disposition and allergy to confronting her own feelings is only going to get her so far— oh, and on top of that, she's also just recently joined the Fog God for a whole host of reasons.
Souda Kazuichi is a reformed (really! he swears!) terrorist & Ultimate Mechanic staving off the holds of Despair (capital D). In Ryslig he's been able to devote a lot of his time back to inventing, but now that Komaeda is gone, Souda's left with a bunch of plans and half-finished models of water-proof prosthetic arms. His Exhibit has recently appeared in the multiversal museum.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING: I personally have been hit bad by the SAD stick so I'm going to take it easy. As a result, if you super need something done, I'm willing to plot them through with you so they can be handwaved if need be, or to thread out slower stuff over the month.

Maya is known for her unyielding forgiveness and ire toward vengeance in canon, but Ryslig is a lot worse than her home. After her best friend, other-world-sister, and now Phoenix have all been murdered at the hands of Aunamee, Maya's battling her own rage and lack of power against other monsters— and after a bit of moping, she's going to determine the only way to get back at someone you can't kill here is to intimidate them. Since Maya lacks shame and Aunamee doesn't, her focus will be on finding a way to humiliate him (and as a result either make him think twice about attacking her friends— or take the target off of them and put it on herself)— so as a result, she'll be busily trying to monitor Aunamee's daily patterns to look for an opening.

That leaves more time to focus on Souda, who I haven't done as much with these past two months, oops. Hopefully this month he'll be more active with the garage, which has plenty of room to work on up to two normal-sized vehicles at once (or one larger-than-average vehicle at a time). Sometime during the month he'll figure out he's got a museum exhibit, but alas, he can't do anything to obscure his sins!

With Maya I'm as always interested in keeping up her current cr and meeting new folks, but I'd like to focus a LITTLE more on Souda— for whom I'd love to grab new job opportunities, and perhaps to meet new pals or reconnect with old ones as he's been cooped up working on re-starting his Nanamibot project. Ofc, i'm open to both positive and negative cr for both of them as well.
