JANUARY/FEBRUARY TEST DRIVE
Welcome to the Ryslig Test Drive Meme! Below are a few prompts to get you started, but you may make up any prompt you desire! Please take a look at the navigation page for rules, setting information, and links to reserves and apps. Have fun!
SCENARIO ONE
You wake up on the beach thoroughly drenched, with your mouth full of sand. The salt water is making all the cuts and scrapes on your skin sting and the sand isn't helping. The air is slightly humid, ruining any feeling of refreshment you might have gotten from your dip in the ocean.
There are lights in the distance, but the unfriendly scent of gunpowder fills the air. If you're lucky, you're alone. If not - you might find yourself staring up into a pair of monstrous eyes or down the barrel of a local's shotgun.
SCENARIO TWO
So you've just arrived, and already some of the natives are trying to get on your good side with offers of food, shelter and other luxuries in return for hoping you don't eat them. They even have some helpful pamphlets to share with you. "How To Deal With Changes", "Alternatives to Human Flesh", "What to Expect When You're Expecting (to turn into a monster)" are all on the more informative end of the scale. There's even some detailing certain monsters, and the changes they go through. Some of these seem to have been passed down from one monster to the next.
Among these however, are some... not so helpful ones. "Bunnyipyips And You", "Axe Thief Axehounds," and "So you're becoming a Fur Bearing Trout" among others. Sometimes they have marks on them from previous readers saying they're lies, or pointing out good "jokes."
Then there are the people who aren't happy to see you at all. Glares and silent, judging stares if you're lucky, torches and pitchforks attempting to drive you out of the town if you're not. You may need a friend to help you.
SCENARIO THREE
"Seek us out," the voice whispers in your head, and before you have time to question it you've found yourself in someplace entirely alien.
Maybe it's the Fog God's ghostly town of Dyster, where exultant followers dance around bonfires and sing their praises to the skies above. Maybe it's the Fourth God's arcade, with small robots wheeling about amidst the lights and colors of old pinball machines.
Only one thing is certain: you are not alone, in this sacred place.
SCENARIO FOUR
The time has come and you've found yourself becoming a monster. Is the change instant, or gradual? Are you familiar enough with monsters to know what's happening, or is it a complete shock? Feel free to pick any monster type for this prompt, but note that you may not get the same one in game.

He didn't have anyone to serve here. He hadn't really in a while, but now he... didn't exactly have a goal.
"Hy dunno vhat hyu damage is, keedo, but battle ain't a place for keeds."
As if he hadn't joined the Heterodyne army at seventeen.

"You don't seem to understand. I may be young... but I have not been a 'kid' for many years. I have taken lives, both directly and indirectly. I've killed with venom and I've killed with blood. I have no fear of killing, not for my dream, nor to protect those who support it."
He is a killer, not for fun or joy, but for a cause he deems just. In that sense of justice he has no remorse for taking lives, nor does he entertain the idea of considering if he hadn't killed them. In the life he's lived until now he had two choices, kill or die, and he chose the former without regret.

"Hyu sound like a young recruit, keedo. How old are hyu?"
It's no talk a teenager should ever have to go through, but it's something that just... is so familiar. It was how he felt as a kid, it was something he saw among fresh faces that were just as tired entering the Heterodyne army.

"I'm fifteen. Not that it matters. Back home I was nearly to my goal... of becoming a top gangster." he says, trying not to consider how his friends were doing without him there. They could survive, they had to survive... but that didn't stop his concern for them.

"Hy dun mean to laff- hyu is too serious, keed. Dot's a pretty big accomplishment, beink a big top mob boss at hyu age. Hyu must be real schmott."
He goes to tap the side of his skull as if to indicate a brain, but his finger just... melts right into the head, touching not much of anything.

Oggie can't exactly straighten up, being made mostly of honey. He's never known much about the drug trade. It wasn't what it was in Giorno's day- in 1820, Cocaine and Opium were just sort of a normal thing. It was a rich academic problem, mostly.
"Ve alvays did our fightink real straight- beeg axes rich sparks und all."
