Soo...at first Waldo really needed to believe Rick was some kind of genius who could get him out of there. He still wants to believe that, but he's losing hope. Now he's torn between being all "no. we don't tear people apart for spare parts, are you insane!?" and thinking "yeah, I could see myself ending up like that guy and drinking to forget."

Pulling Rick's tooth made him feel weirdly responsible for the guy. Then there was the embarrassing "no I'm not in a barrel" first meeting.
