I play the faerie Josh Washington and the vampire Lucas Baker, and I'd definitely be thrilled to see others' takes on either of the two if any of said others would want to see me take a shot at their own beasties!

Lexil | L Lawliet and Elsa Mars

Hey! I am Lexil, and I play L Lawliet (demon) and Elsa Mars (lich). I've always liked to draw but stopped in high school, and I recently started up again. Here's a sample of recent stuff; most of it is L because he's VERY fun to draw, but I've branched into drawing Mello too! I'm unskilled and untrained but I think I'm noticing improvements every day.

I'd like to draw other characters, and I'd be very happy to take a crack at yours for a swap. :D

Here are things I'd really like to see for L and Elsa:

L

-Just anything! By now my concept for his demon form is pretty set in stone; he has Ryslig's shittiest-looking wings (think angel that was dragged through fire and brimstone); they're primarily grey in color and have patches of scorched or blackened feathers. I'd really like to see some art where some bone is exposed if you're good at drawing that kind of thing (I'm not!) His finished demon form reflects skin that's in a patchwork pattern (very pale with grey sections), his sclera are black with white irises unless he's feeding, and he has horns that resemble a male impala's and are a dirty bone off-white in color. His hands and feet are tinged black from the tip of his claws to about mid-forearm/mid-calf. He has a similarly black tail with a stylized point on the end (one side of the point curves more). OH also in canon, L's clothes are extremely plain and bland. In Ryslig I like the idea of him having to wear other things since his typical fare is a little harder to come by, so I'd really like to see him wearing a variety of clothing to suggest that someone with an actual fashion sense is dressing him lately (it's Light.)

Elsa

- Elsa's been assigned Lich! I love it and it's perfect for her, but this is a newer monster and I'm struggling a little to come up with a super clear concept of what I want for her. I know that I want her detached limbs to be her legs, but am trying to figure out how to make that work with the prosthetic. I want to go for a more ghostly and less zombie or skeletal aesthetic, but I'd still like hints of her more sinister side to show through. I'm playing with the idea of detaching her head and giving her a feather boa raiment, but I'm not sure yet.

Let me know what you want me to focus on and I'd be super happy to take a crack at it!

Carbon | AM and Rhoda Penmark

Hi guys, I play AM and Rhoda Penmark. I love to draw, and you can see my relevant Ryslig drawings there. I also have my art tumblr as well. I'm up for doing trades for people, so if you want to trade please hit me up!

AM

AM is a demon. He was an arachne for almost two years, but got resorted! I'm still in the process of finishing up his demon design, but he will look basically like this (and simply for completion's sake, here is the version without underwear - NSFW for male nudity). His skin will be a dark brown/greyish with scales on the knees, outer thighs and back of thighs, and shoulders. Large spikes are also on the shoulders as you can see. It's hard to see in the picture, but he has a beard, which is a few inches long and braided like his hair. There are also spikes next to the beard. This is why I need to finish the close-up of his face really soon.

The wings are basically bat wings with tatters, but the long spike on the end is prehensile and can grab things like extra hands. I might modify the look of these. (The prehensile nature is one of his Fog God boons.)

I haven't designed the fog form yet, but due to being a Tier 3 Fog God follower, his fog form will be at least twelve feet tall. I'm thinking it may have a more devilish, goat-ish appearance in the face to evoke something more biblical. It will also be super scary and horrifying and haunt your nightmares.


Rhoda

Rhoda is brand new, and got assigned troll! I find this hilarious because I think this was one of the monsters she certainly did not want to be. I honestly haven't decided much in terms of her troll design, but some of the rocks will be her birth stone, which I can't remember off the top of my head. (This is due to a scene early in the canon in which she receives a necklace.) I want to evoke something hideous but adorable all at the same time. The thing about Rhoda is that on the outside she looks like a perfect little girl, but her inner nature is what is horrible, so I don't want to go too overboard on the horrifying appearance. However, I am really excited that she's a troll so I really do want to get creative with it.... Hmmm...

I always try to hop in on the art meme train when these go up cause I loove drawing monsters for people, so I'd definitely be up for some trades! (And I might sneak around and draw people surprises, we'll see!)

Karamatsu the Faerie

Karamatsu's monster info is Here and he's fully changed at this point! He's recently lost an arm but will be regrowing it soon in a sort of different color, but since I haven't quite settled on how that should look yet I'm not going to bother with being fussy on the details for that for a trade. The only specification is that he does not have bug legs (I haven't had a chance to change that top image on his page yet) but instead has four human-like arms with a carapace.

He's got some scarring on his face due to an event he was in, but that's present on most of these refs.

Jimmy the Manticore

NOW JIMMY....he's a work in progress. I just found out he'll be a Manticore when he changes and I'm still working on his design, so nothing is set in stone yet. I've gone through a lot of cats but so far I'm on King Cheetah Jims which you can see HERE: BEEP

For Jimmy, you can draw this design I've done here, but I HIGHLY encourage tweaking and experimenting with his design! Change things at your leisure and help me figure out what the heck to do with this boy. You can also draw something totally new if you'd like!!

For trades, I'll draw you a picture of whoever you want of the same quality I receive (Sketch for sketch, flatcolor for flatcolor, etc)
