TEST DRIVE MEME
TEST DRIVE MEME | ||
Welcome to Ryslig's test drive meme! If you're considering apping here, this is where you can try your characters out in the game's setting. A few things to note:
Sample scenarios: SCENARIO ONE: You've just been released from the hospital in Vandare and no one really seems to know what to do with you. The locals offer polite advice but don't seem to want to spend a lot of time with you. You and the other new arrivals stick out like sore thumbs, so perhaps one will spot you wandering about town. |

Come on, dear. Lets see if we both can get out of this forest. [Milla wishes she could just levitate them above the treeline to get a good idea of where they are, but that's not going to happen.]
no subject
[It's felt like hours, what with how many times he's seen the same landmarks, and heard that awful laughter that seems to have been following him this entire time.]
Alright. My name's Dipper, by the way. I haven't really been here all that long.

[Milla easily starts to lead the way, pausing to check what she can see of the night sky for some sense of direction. Life of a psychic secret agent has its perks. Survival training is always a must.] Following the stars should be a good start to get us out of here.
no subject
Oh yeah. It's a little hard to get a good look at the sky through all these trees..

Normally I'd get a higher vantage point my way, but ah, we'll have to do it the old fashioned way. [for a woman in platform boots and a dress, Milla surprisingly is able to find some footing on a tree branch and pull herself up.]
no subject
Oh, uh- you sure you don't....uh...need me to help?
[Not that he's probably going to be getting up into that tree as easily any time soon.]
no subject
Just stay nearby, alright? [Though she's not vanishing from sight.]
no subject
[What he does do, though, is crane his neck and look up to the sky while she climbs, trying to see if he can get a glimpse of the stars at all from where he's standing. It's not much help, considering how much is blocked by the canopy above, but it's better than standing and listening to the children laughing in the distance.]
no subject
We're on the right track after all, dear! [She calls back down, already making her way back downwards. Only pausing when the giggling from earlier echoed through the forest around them.]
no subject
[...Giggling. Not so great.]
Guess we better get moving, then.
no subject
That would be for the best. I'd rather we not encounter whoever is laughing. [Milla has a solid suspicion that the laughter isn't coming from any actual children.] They seem to be having a good time on their own without us.
no subject
[Dipper nods, glad at least that the laughter is beginning to sound a bit more distant.]
Maybe we're closer to the exit than we thought, and they just think it's funny that we keep missing it.
