TEST DRIVE : MAY 2016 EDITIOIN

- Test drive meme threads can be used for your roleplay sample!
- Players with characters already in the game can earn up to a maximum of 6 coins by replying to potential character threads! You cannot use this to go over the bonus 20 coins per month total, but you can use it to reach that coin total. Same rules as normal bonuses apply.
Sample scenarios:
SCENARIO ONE: So you've just arrived, and already SOME the natives are trying to get on your good side. Offers of food, shelter and other luxuries in return for hoping you don't eat them. They even have some helpful pamphlets to share with you. "How To Deal With Changes", "Alternatives to Human Flesh", "What to Expect When You're Expecting (to turn into a monster)" are all great pamphlets. There's even some detailing certain monsters, and the changes they go through. Some of these seem to have been passed down from one monster to the next.
Among these however, are some... not so helpful ones. "Bunnyipyips And You", "Axe Thief Axehounds," and "So you're becoming a Fur Bearing Trout" among others. Sometimes they have marks on them from previous people who had them saying they are lies, or pointing out good "jokes."
Then there's the people who aren't happy to see you at all. Glares and silent, judging stares if you're lucky. Torches and pitchforks attempting to drive you out of the town if you're not. You may need a friend to help you.
SCENARIO TWO: You've become hopelessly lost in Lager Woods. Paths don't seem to lead where you remember them leading, and you feel as if you're going around in circles. Childlike giggling can be heard from no direction in particular. Suddenly, you stumble upon another character, who seems to be just as lost as you! Perhaps you can find a way out together. Or maybe they want you for lunch...
SCENARIO THREE: The time has come and you've found yourself becoming a monster. Is the change instant, or gradual? Are you familiar enough with monsters to know what's happening, or is it a complete shock? NOTE: Feel free to pick any monster type for this prompt, but note that you may not get the same one in game.
SCENARIO FOUR: The claws, the fangs, the pangs of hunger - horrible as they all are, it's manageable given enough time and perseverance. Local monster hunters, though, not so much.
Maybe it started with a few wayward glances on the outskirts of town, critical stares and disapproving whispers, or just the misfortune of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Whatever it was, deserved or entirely unprovoked, you're being hunted: a handful of aggressive, well-armed humans doggedly chase your trail throughout city streets and out into the open, and if you're not careful (if you don't find help soon) you might wind up as the next trophy kill claim on one of those hunter's walls.

He sighs quietly, resolving to find a place to stash all the gifts and then he'll– He splutters and stumbles back when he suddenly ends up with a great lot of paper thrown right into his face.]

[Of course, any complaint that might have followed dies the second he catches sight of just who showered him in pamphlets.]

[It seems like the first plausible guess… it's not his present and it's definitely not the past either, and if something went wrong with the time machine and he came out– Well. Being dead would probably explain why he can't reach his Ki. And the presence of his father. Kami, please let his mom not have found his body.]

Well, if it isn't the brat from the future. [He sneers, fully meaning to take his rage out on a familiar face now that the pamphlets have been dealt with.] We have to be dead to be in hell, you idiot.

[But it's not like he knows what it's like to be dead! He'll have to defer to the older Saiyan's experience on that. And, well if it were his and/or his story's fault, shouldn't the rest of the group be around here somewhere too?
Trunks blinks, and stays still in place in spite of the sudden bout of nervousness tugging at his gut. This is his Father That He Has Only Met Once after all… who at very least knows when he's from, oh god. Goku, you promised!]

[Android, cyborgs, whatever. They're all the same to him. They might pose a threat to a bunch of humans, but not to him, especially now that he's had the years to prepare for the fight. Those buckets of bolts don't stand a chance.]
[Though he's a little cranky to have been suddenly thrown into another place or time where his powers seem to be inaccessible. Which means he gets to take it out on future boy.]

I've seen far more terrifying things than you could ever dream of, boy.
[So his future self had gotten killed. Big whoop. Vegeta bets his future self hadn't figured out how to go super saiyan yet, which puts him at an advantage in his own timeline.]
And you expect me to believe that. [Are you sure its not your fault Trunks. Are you sure.] Just like you expect me to believe you're a saiyan.
[He's not buying your fancy tricks, future boy!!]

I don't doubt the terror's you've seen, Vegeta-san. The androids are still a class of their own… they are heartless horrors that have no Ki to be sensed, yet never run out of energy.
[Trunks doesn't know if the Vegeta of his timeline had ascended to Super Saiyan, but Gohan had. He himself has and that's why he knows: one Super Saiyan alone just isn't enough.]
The time machine travels back and forth between timelines, but from what I have gathered so far we have been displaced to another dimension entirely. It isn't capable of doing or causing that.
[Hence, not his fault. As for his being saiyan… yea, no comment on that.]
