[Ryuk meanwhile is attempting to snag another pamphlet. It's not that he thought they were going to be useful, or that he really even intended to read them. It's just that there seemed to be an entire set and if there was he wanted all of them. The only downside is he already looks a good way into becoming a monster, and that makes people a little more reluctant to deal with him, never mind give him anything.

This isn't stopping him from trying though - up until some hooded little thing shuffles up and speaks up suddenly, and Ryuk swivels bit by bit to actually look at who addressed him.

Yeah, that's right.

[For his efforts, or perhaps just for existing, or maybe for being dressed like that when for all Ryuk knows it's a nice warm day out, L gets a snaggle-toothed grin.]
