Sample scenarios:
SCENARIO ONE: So you've just arrived, and already SOME the natives are trying to get on your good side. Offers of food, shelter and other luxuries in return for hoping you don't eat them. They even have some helpful pamphlets to share with you. "How To Deal With Changes", "Alternatives to Human Flesh", "What to Expect When You're Expecting (to turn into a monster)" are all great pamphlets. There's even some detailing certain monsters, and the changes they go through. Some of these seem to have been passed down from one monster to the next.
Among these however, are some... not so helpful ones. "Bunnyipyips And You", "Axe Thief Axehounds," and "So you're becoming a Fur Bearing Trout" among others. Sometimes they have marks on them from previous people who had them saying they are lies, or pointing out good "jokes."
Then there's the people who aren't happy to see you at all. Glares and silent, judging stares if you're lucky. Torches and pitchforks attempting to drive you out of the town if you're not. You may need a friend to help you.
SCENARIO TWO: You've become hopelessly lost in Lager Woods. Paths don't seem to lead where you remember them leading, and you feel as if you're going around in circles. Childlike giggling can be heard from no direction in particular. Suddenly, you stumble upon another character, who seems to be just as lost as you! Perhaps you can find a way out together. Or maybe they want you for lunch...
SCENARIO THREE: The time has come and you've found yourself becoming a monster. Is the change instant, or gradual? Are you familiar enough with monsters to know what's happening, or is it a complete shock? NOTE: Feel free to pick any monster type for this prompt, but note that you may not get the same one in game.
SCENARIO FOUR: The claws, the fangs, the pangs of hunger - horrible as they all are, it's manageable given enough time and perseverance. Local monster hunters, though, not so much.
Maybe it started with a few wayward glances on the outskirts of town, critical stares and disapproving whispers, or just the misfortune of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Whatever it was, deserved or entirely unprovoked, you're being hunted: a handful of aggressive, well-armed humans doggedly chase your trail throughout city streets and out into the open, and if you're not careful (if you don't find help soon) you might wind up as the next trophy kill claim on one of those hunter's walls.
No, her wings are really made of dogs knocking over pikachu dolls
[Justine isn't sure what is possessing her to do this, but nearly everything she ever does is on a whim, so it's not out of the ordinary. Maybe she's just bored and wants to have some company. Maybe she'll lead him deeper into the woods afterwards and get him hopelessly lost. Maybe she'll turn him into a ladybug. Maybe she'll show him the way out. She doesn't know yet.
Either way, she wishes that someone more attractive had come her way, but beggars and choosers.
She flutters from her branch and starts to fly deeper in the woods towards the lake.] What would your name be, then?
i knew it
[Wheatley trailed after the fairy like a rat after the Piper, thinking of little but her kindness and how familiar this seemed. It was odd, really- hadn't he been the friendly little sprite leading a trusting stranger through a labyrinth once before? So this was what it felt like on the ground.
He didn't like it, but what choice did he have?]
Uh, Wheatley. I'm- I'm Wheatley. What's your name?
[He was Wheatley. Guide turned helpless, clueless follower.]

I am Justine Florbelle. I frequent these woods when the city has become too tedious for me. There are wondrous things out here if you know where to look.

Ah, um, right. Wondrous. Seems a nice place, you know. Picturesque.

Here we are.
[She lands lightly on a rock at the shoreline, grinning as she starts to pull off her shirt.] The water is always warm here. [It's actually a pretty lake with clear water that shows seaweed growing at the bottom. Maybe there's something lurking there? Or maybe it's harmless. Either way, the faerie is starting to strip.]

Wheatley eventually freed himself from the foliage and blundered after her, checking his bad eye for twigs.]
What was that, incidentally? Kudzu? Have you got kudzu growing around here, because if you have--
[Upon realizing what she was doing, which took a few seconds of gormless ogling, Wheatley politely averted his gaze and shuffled a ways down the shore, where he knelt by the water and stared at it for a bit. It looked real enough. He risked dipping two fingers under the water, then (if nothing grabbed it,) would have brought his hand up to his good eye to inspect it for waterborne parasites.]
Anyway, if you do have kudzu, that's- That's hardly good. My condolences. I hear it's a nasty bugger.

[She folds her shirt and puts it on the rock with her bra. She had at first been quite thrown off by the lack of corsets, but she had discovered it was nigh impossible to wear a corset with wings, so the future's underthings it is, then.
She looks at Wheatley, studiously avoiding looking at her, and frowns briefly before putting on a smile again.] A woman might think you think her ugly with the way you look away.
[He's ugly, with that empty eye socket, which makes it feel more insulting that he is not appreciating her form. She reminds herself to not take it too personally, because common people don't always recognize value when they see it. Basile was one exception, but Basile isn't here. She starts to slip off her skirt as well.] You can't go swimming with those clothes on. You'll catch your death once you're done.

I, um. You're not- You're fine. Didn't mean to, um, imply...
[He was doing everything right, wasn't he? Was he? No, of course he wasn't. When did he ever.
Wheatley cupped his hand, leaning over the bank to scoop water into his mouth.]
Is this- It's not chlorinated, is it? You said you've been swimming here before? Did you ever- Have you gotten parasites or anything? Infections? It's fine?

[There's momentarily an edge in her voice, but it disappears again. Pearls before swine. You can't expect ugly commoners to appreciate beauty when they see it.
She pulls off her skirt and knickers, folding them on the rock, before sliding into the water up to her hips.] Don't you have a sense of adventure? Don't bother so much over the details. I've never been sick here.

[Wheatley tried to look at her, focusing on her face as he wrung his hands. He managed a few seconds of sustained eye contact before his gaze dropped to the surface of the water.]
Right, um, well- Okay, why don't you soak for a bit, and then we- then you can go... forage, and we'll switch. And then we- And then we go home. Right? Then we go back to town. Just a- just a quick revitalizing dip in the- the, um, the forest water, and then you can show me how to go home. Right?
