TEST DRIVE

Welcome to Ryslig's test drive meme! If you're considering apping here, this is where you can try your characters out in the game's setting. A few things to note:

• You can only app ONE character per round so choose wisely.
• We now have a Quick Game Facts that simplifies the basic information about the game. Good if you want to see what the game is at a glance!
• Ryslig's FAQ is located here, so please take a look if you have questions.


• The Reserve date is 01/29.
• Test drive meme threads can be used for your roleplay sample!
• Players with characters already in the game can earn up to a maximum of 6 coins by replying to potential character threads! You cannot use this to go over the bonus 20 coins per month total, but you can use it to reach that coin total. Same rules as normal bonuses apply.

Sample scenarios:

SCENARIO ONE: So you've just arrived, fresh out of the hospital, and already the natives are trying to get on your good side. Offers of food, shelter and other luxuries in return for hoping you don't eat them. They even have some helpful pamphlets to share with you. "How To Deal With Changes", "Alternatives to Human Flesh", "What to Expect When You're Expecting (to turn into a monster)" are all great pamphlets. There's even some detailing certain monsters, and the changes they go through. Some of these seem to have been passed down from one monster to the next.

Among these however, are some... not so helpful ones. "Bunnyipyips And You", "Axe Thief Axehounds," and "So you're becoming a Fur Bearing Trout" among others. Sometimes they have marks on them from previous people who had them saying they are lies, or pointing out good "jokes."

SCENARIO TWO: You've become hopelessly lost in Lager Woods. Paths don't seem to lead where you remember them leading, and you feel as if you're going around in circles. Childlike giggling can be heard from no direction in particular. Suddenly, you stumble upon another character, who seems to be just as lost as you! Perhaps you can find a way out together. Or maybe they want you for lunch...

SCENARIO THREE: The time has come and you've found yourself becoming a monster. Is the change instant, or gradual? Are you familiar enough with monsters to know what's happening, or is it a complete shock? NOTE: Feel free to pick any monster type for this prompt, but note that you may not get the same one in game.

SCENARIO FOUR:The claws, the fangs, the pangs of hunger - horrible as they all are, it's manageable given enough time and perseverance. Local monster hunters, though, not so much.

Maybe it started with a few wayward glances on the outskirts of town, critical stares and disapproving whispers, or just the misfortune of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Whatever it was, deserved or entirely unprovoked, you're being hunted: a handful of aggressive, well-armed humans doggedly chase your trail throughout city streets and out into the open, and if you're not careful (if you don't find help soon) you might wind up as the next trophy kill claim on one of those hunter's walls.

[ When she spots a pamphlet that talks about eating human flesh, she starts to wonder... is it allowed to eat humans here, and these people are like vegetarians who tell you how to replace meat?

She's curious, so when the next person passes her, she grabs them and bites right into their arm. ]

[ If you thought the children giggling was creepy, they are now joined in by someone else.The children's giggles feel like a challenge to her, and Gekikara is looking for them, giggling and sounding insane.

She can feel that someone is coming closer, just behind a couple of trees, and che charges, aiming a punch at whoever's showing up. ]

three - demon
[ Okay, she's not at all sure what is going on, but the pain is pleasurable. It feels good as hell, even if it isn't from a fight. Her teeth are sharp and her eyes are red, her toe nails have turned into claws, poking holes through her leather boots. She laughs loudly, as she rips her finger nails off, one by one.

That, or you might catch her sticking her body parts into open fire. ]

[ Now... that was a surprise.. Red turns his eyes to silently look down at the girl, and he seems entirely unfazed by suddenly being bitten. As if it has happened before, or something. ]

[ Well, that just results with her biting down harder. She is aiming to bite the flesh off his arm after all. ]

[ Children prone to violence.. What is he to do with them.

Well. For now he pries her mouth away from his arm. ]

[upyour]

[ The question is; will he be able to, what with him only having human strength now?

She tries to catch his fingers as well when they try to move between her teeth and his arm. ]

[ Don't underestimate him just because he's human again. He was strong even before he became a märchen demon.

He's dealt with kids that bite before, he can keep his fingers from getting stuck, just as much as he can get her teeth out of her arm. ]

[ He won't get her off until she's gotten at least a little bit of flesh off him, especially since every time he manages to budge her, she bites down again, and at some point it's a small enough area that it's easy for her to rip it off.

With his meat between her teeth, she grins, taking a step back to cackle. ]

[ To be totally honest, he doesn't even care all that much. He might not have the same healing capacity as when he was a demon, but that didn't matter to him. ]

Are you done now?

[ She chews, and properly makes sure to taste what human meat tastes like. It tastes pretty much like most meat. ]

You taste like pig!

Is that so.

[ He's never really been interested in human meat. Besides the part where he has had to consume a heart once in a while. ]

[upyour]

[ The blood drips down her chin, and she swipes a thumb to wipe it off, sucking the blood off her finger. ]

Stupid people, like little papers are gonna stop me from eating humans now!

[ He calmly wipes away the blood from his arm with his sleeve. He’ll treat it later.

He doesn’t say anything, but he does think that she could avoid eating people as much as possible, papers or no papers. ]
