No, they will not.

[It's a quiet agreement, but it's firm. Vocal advocates for violence tend to do more harm than good on both sides. She wonders how long these mobs have been hunting monsters, and how many monsters have fallen to them. Then she wonders how many humans - not the most vocal or violent, but the followers who had allowed themselves to be whipped along into the herd - have fallen at the monsters' hands.

Or claws. Or teeth. Or whatever they used to kill them.

It's not a pretty picture.]


Take out the leaders, and the rest of them may very well be scrambling to replace them for long enough to provide a significant reprieve. [Or long enough to swoop in and murder the rest of them but that's not really her thing. The assassination of a few key figures, though - that could save lives on both sides.

It's all a matter of numbers.

...maybe she won't have to combat her thirst for too long. If she constrains herself to the people who are actively putting monsters and humans alike in danger, that's not such a terrible thing, is it?]
