MONSTER DOODLE MEME

FOR THE ARTISTICALLY INCLINED

Or the not so artistically inclined. Since we've been shown what our characters are going to morph into, there have been some lovely displays of art and doodles as to the end results of that. But not all of us have the ability to do more than just scribble an angry looking stick man with horns. For anyone who wants to draw or wants to try to draw or wants to put up what they hope someone will draw for them, this is your meme. Post your character and monster type in the subject header. Link to a full body picture of your character (if available) or something close to it. Describe what you plan on having physically altered, including color, body positioning, and anything else you think is relevant. Go into as much detail as you want. This is your character. Go nuts. Or go into half detail, if you'd like a version not fully changed. Artists: Please put in what you are not comfortable drawing, ie; spiders, snakes, wendigos, etc. Requesting players: Please only ask for one drawing per character. Artists: Please only fill out one drawing per character for this meme. If anyone wants to set something up off the meme, that's up to them, but it might kind of suck to see someone getting five versions done while someone else gets nothing. You're all free to do as you please. These are just basic guidelines. Have fun!

Full Body Shot: One | Two
Changes: I'm going to be mixing her in with a Calopteryx Virgo damselfly, so she'll be having a double set of a really intense iridescent blue. She'll also get a very short set of antennae, which you should be able to see in the picture I'll post of the open wings. Her ears will be pointed (think elves in LotR), she'll have the translucent claws and her arms/legs will be a little bit longer/thinner than usual. She'll also have the compound bug eyes in a very bright blue, though they'll be in the same position they usually are and not on the side of her head. I'd like them a bit bigger than her usual eyes as well, please and thank you.

I feel weird doing this since my own drawing is "stick figure with horns" level and thus I can't offer much in return except admiration and tags...

Full body shot: One, two
Changes: At this point I'm planning to mix her with a clearfin lionfish, but also drawing a little inspiration from the Process. (note: the one in the link is a boss and possibly spoilery.)

- Glossy white scales with black stripes. Kind of the inverse of the actual fish I guess.
- Big frilly arm fins accompanied by long black spines. I haven't decided if they should be clear like the fish's or solid white to fit the Processed look, so you can draw whichever.
- Dorsal fin in her full merform, with more of the spines.
- Ear fins resemble the decoration on that reference image's hat- black and spiky.
- Webbed hands (she'll either cut the webbing to keep wearing her ring, or just stick it on a necklace, haven't decided yet), with black claws in full merform.

Snake Inspiration: Red-bellied Black Snake

If you're the kind to slap some color on your doodles, it's worth noting that Trip's blonde hair and blue eyes are artificial. Time and transformation will revert both back to their natural colors. He's actually a green-eyed redhead.

Changes:
- Snake tail! Long enough for him to coil up and be his own bed.
- Snake fangs, with the corners of his mouth extending back towards his ears so he can do the dislocating jaw thing. Otherwise human facial features are maintained.
- Slit-pupiled eyes (green, no sclera/whites)
- Claws
- Extra scales to your preference! I know I want them on him but have no visualization for them yet.
- Not the transformations's doing, but his hair won't be ridiculously styled anymore either because who's going to let him in a salon and mirrors shatter when he tries to look in them. :') So it'll be scruffy like his child self's rather than all upswept spiky.

My art level is less than a stick figure with horns, so I feel kinda bad asking since I can't give anything in return except admiration of art skills, buuuut if anyone feels like drawing a shinigami fused with a scorpion that'd be pretty awesome.

Body shots are here and here, sorry the second is a little dark and neither really show his legs but meh it'll just be his torso up anyway. Neither of those show his hands either, and the best I can find of those is one from the anime of him drinking. Typical. Hands!

He's gonna (eventually) gain the body of a black emperor scorpion, with his torso probably fusing just behind where the scorpion's headparts are.

He'll also have fangs in place of his canine teeth, and claws in place of fingernails! Other than that, he won't change too much physically. As if that stuff wasn't enough. xD

No hurry on this at all and no worries if it doesn't strike your fancy, just putting it out there in case someone's bored and wants to try!

Full Body Shot: One | Two. These don't really show how tiny she is; about 4'11" (just around 150cm).
Changes: All of them. She's turning into a wendigo, so she'll be getting the antlers of the now-extinct bush-antlered deer, pointy deer ears, either gold or brown deer eyes with horizontal pupils, hooves with a bit of pink fur that fades away before the knee, and a pink puffy deer tail because I'm trash. Additionally, her upper and lower canines are growing into fangs, her fingernails are becoming long and clawlike, she has bony protrusions at her elbows and shoulders, and her arms and legs are both growing thinner and stretching by somewhere around half a foot to a foot each.

If anyone wants to draw a bara covered in pastel gemstone seams...I have your guy! gosh bear with me I feel a little silly asking but I'm not exactly the best artist and would love to see someone else's take on spank! girl kanbe kuroda

Changes: Okay, so I'm a weenie for not realising sooner that I have an opportunity to go slightly oni-esque here. So basically Kanbe's going to resemble a pastel oni, covered in chalcedony; once the transformation's more advanced, instead of little lumpy knobs of the stuff, he's going to end up with full on, giant seams of it (mostly on his upper back, but I'm also thinking of putting a patch maybe on his face to be an asshole). And maybe a single, magnificent horn jutting out from his forehead. Possibly also made of chalcedony.
Just generic fantasy pointed ears is okay, I'm not fussed on earshape yet!

OH AND okay last thing. Once he goes berserker for the first time, he's gonna bust his shackles (and once he starts growing rocks, he's gonna remove his chest armour and either go around barechested or look for new clothing since armour hurts like a bitch on fresh backgrowths). So don't worry about drawing that stuff!

Changes: I'm not perfect but I tired drawing my envision (HHAHAHA.....). As long as Valvatorez follows the rules of his new monster fourm he should be growing healthier, thus tyrant!Val. After all, what he's like in-game is an extremely malnutritioned Valvatorez. Keeping his pointy ears and sharp teeth, add the fins and scales. Whatever colors you think mesh well with him are cool too~
- Long, flowing, tyrant hair.
- Claws.
- Fins/scales/gills.
- Webbed fingers/toes.

Full Body Shot: Here!

Changes: As for general changes, he's getting paler blue eyes, and little sharp claw like nails (think thinly filed and dainty as opposed to beastly shredders though). He's gonna get some additions courtesy of this crazy tropical grasshopper. Those will be his wings when in flight, and when resting, they'll fold flat against his back and be covered by the two opaque green upper wings, like so. (Yes I know the second image is of a great green bush cricket, but Lophacris cristata is pretty rare and hard to find living, at rest pictures of.) He'll also be getting medium length spindly antenna (see either grasshopper pic), and small thin backwards facing spikes protruding from his forearms from wrist to elbow, and his legs from knee to ankle such as the ones on the legs in this image. He's also getting segmented and clawed grasshopper feet. His jumping ability will be increased, but after researching how grasshoppers work that's actually an internal muscular change, so no outward visible change there except maybe an increased preference for squatting and sitting with folded up legs.

Changes: Tonika is going to be getting the whole package! She will be based off of an Austrian Lipizzan horse with the mane/hair the texture of Pink Seaweed (except blonde). She will have a centaur form she'll mostly default to during Fog days. In addition, she'll have sharp, jagged teeth, pointed ears, elongated limbs, hooves for feet, and dark seaweed tendrils sprouting from her back-- in addition to tinted green skin. I'd be very pleased with art of any of her forms!! Be it Centuar, Horse, or 'Normal'. Here's an inaccurate representation of her so far, and a full list of changes.

Would be happy to do a sketch in return for any that I get! c:

I can't draw for beans, so I can only give love and admiration and tags in return for any drawings, but...

Changes: He's becoming a Gargoyle, and getting all of the changes possible except dragon facial features (and maybe spikes everywhere, I haven't decided). His feet are turning into something like this while his hands are remaining mostly human aside from fingernails becoming claws. This is the closest I could find for how I imagine the scale pattern on his body's going to end up being like and this for the wings and horns. He's going to have a tail at least long enough to shut in doors four feet long.

Changes: Okay, so Ryouta's shadow form (so default) is going to come out of this transformation with a body that looks like it's fragile. Essentially, like he's always got smoke coming off of him, but it's not smoke, it's shadow energy, as demonstrated in the Consistency references below. Important shadow form notes:
- Normally, he will not have them, but his preferred shape-shifting form will retain his wings - though they will be tattered. See references.
- One wing (the right one) will be more tattered than the other. Think holes, constantly falling apart, pretty awful stuff.
- His tendrils will manifest in his shadow form. Obviously they will be dark and shadow-like, but they will almost appear as ovular bird head-necks? Use Tendril references below. Dark black/blue-ish.
- He retains the shape of his hair, mouth, nose - basic facial features, but in shadow. His red eyes glow.
- The form defaults to having a broken crown on his head. The right side appears like it's been torn apart. See King Ryouta reference for inspiration.

In human form, if that is chosen to be drawn, it's much like the changes on the Bestiary entry, including:
- Sharp claws, thought more like talons on his arms and feet
- Sharp teeth.
- Glowing eyes, like his shadow form.
- A shadow aura. Reference can be drawn from some of the consistency pictures - it's like he has shadow energy coming off him, but he's not made of it. Again, moving like a strange form of smoke.

Other ideas for on fog days, etc. but man this is complicated enough as it is, so here we are!

Changes: I actually doodled them myself, but I'm having problems with art lately and I always have problems with human bits anyways, so it's more of a color and shape guide than an actual representation of how he looks. Extra notes on texture/stuff I couldn't figure out how to depict here, and the patterns on the fins and golden scales are supposed to evoke this gorgeous thing.

Do you mean only do one drawing period, or don't do a drawing for someone if they already have one? Because there's gonna be more requests than people to fill them.

Sorry I didn't clarify. Yeah, I more or less meant don't do a drawing if someone already has one since it might come across to anyone that doesn't get theirs filled as unfair. But like I put at the bottom, they're just guidelines and it's up to you guys to do whatever you want. If you see something get filled and you really wanted to draw that version yourself, maybe send it in a pm? I know it seems like more work, but I was trying to come up with a polite way to suggest not making any one person seem more 'popular' than any other. Which I know is dumb, but it could easily be taken that way by some people and I was trying to stave off people getting upset over "They got more drawings than me".
