So, whatever place you come from, that's one dimension. And the place I come from, that's another dimension. And where we are now, that's a whole other, separate dimension, that's sort of cut off from every other dimension, in that once you're here, you can't go back home. The reason we're here is because of some being or person who calls herself the Fog God, and she's literally fog but also a person and maybe a god, if you believe in that sort of thing. But anyway, she's convinced that she's somehow doing us a favor by kidnapping us and bringing us to this dimension. Except she's really not, because it's not enough for her to bring us here, she also turns us into cannibal monsters, too. Well, I'm not sure if it counts as cannibalism if you're a monster and the person you're eating is human, but the principle still applies, I think. The psychological trauma certainly does.
