You know, I don't really get that way of thinking... What makes the weight of one life more than another?

[It seems like a landmine has been stepped on. Are we getting into philosophy, now? Oops.]

You say I have worth because I exist... and several annoying, nosy people would argue that my worth in this world is in the relationships I've formed. But what about the humans we eat? What about their worth? They exist, and they have their own complex lives and relationships. What about their hopes? Is my despairing situation worth more than theirs?

Do I deserve to take their lives, just to further my own pathetic existence?
