[It's a good point, strangely enough- Pucci interfered with things, that first 'go around'. Replacing those he'd killed, but more importantly allowing time to resume on course months earlier. If he did die after that fight...would he know? Oxygen poisoning was a silent killer. He was suffering those effects just as much as Pucci- Pucci was simply affected faster, and from there, killed even faster by Weather Report's fists.
