Souda isn't entirely expecting anyone to address him; being a scawy pink gargoyle usually keeps people off his back. But he's a sucker for anyone who tries to get his attention nicely, as deep down past the forced terrorism, he is still just a very nice boy who likes that he can walk the streets in the fog and actually meet people.
The crocodile-faced younger man tilts his head at Freddy with his question, perhaps more surprised that Freddy couldn't be asking a better person about faceplates— but when Souda gets a better look at Freddy he's just.. confused. This is a man in a bear suit.
