Video cameras are how people manage to get moving pictures like on these televisions, however. Where I come from, they can take hundreds and hundreds of photos a second! Though, really, screens to display them don't refresh fast enough for motion at that high a frame rate...
But that means they're essential for keeping security tight. No security system is complete without cameras to record what happens while people are away! Or even better, live feeds to keep an eye on everything even when everyone's around!

... Basically, it means the owners of the shop can watch a recording of what happened on a television like these - so if you're in the building while the camera's going, there's no way you won't get caught.
