[ When Rey had awoken on the beach, she'd immediately searched out things that were familiar. She came up... alarmingly short. The Force was gone, her ship was gone, her lightsaber was gone. She was able to find a long piece of driftwood to use as a staff, so at least that was somewhat familiar. She trudged along the beach, looking for any sign of the ship that she came here in, presuming that it crashed here, throwing her from the wreckage.

She happens upon a man, also washed ashore, and begins to walk towards him, but when she sees the telltale reach for a blaster, she tenses, staying put a good five meters from him. ]

I don't know. [ She answers truthfully. ] I was looking for my ship. [ Or any ship, really. A ship, so she could get off this planet and continue... running away. ] It must have crashed somewhere nearby. If I can find it, maybe I can repair it.
