"Right." Dio hesitates but ultimately takes a seat a couple feet away from Claude. His legs still ache, but he'd like to preserve their respective personal space as well. No sense in projecting the frivolous idea of wanting to be so buddy-buddy with this guy right off the bat, even if he isn't particularly obnoxious.

"I suppose if it's all a load of nonsense," he decides with a sigh, "then these fairy tales are at least amusing if nothing else. A pleasant laugh for a Saturday morning."

He frowns. "Though I must say, this is a rather elaborate prank in such a case. And does poking holes in their own informational material create a further authenticity in their ruse? What a pointless effort... I will have little hope for the residents here if this is how they spend such lengths of their time..."

He admittedly hasn't seen anyone particularly unusual yet, but even then, a monstrous appearance can be chalked up to superb costuming. What an exhausting conundrum indeed.

Dio straightens his back and removes the pamphlets he received from his own pockets. One or two of them might be different from those that Claude has acquired, but it's largely the same information. "In case it all somehow isn't a bunch of looneys pulling legs, though, being armed with the most reliable knowledge will prove beneficial."
