[The only reasons Osomatsu was wandering around here was because a.) he got in a fight with his brothers and needed a change of pace and b.) he heard it was newcomer time and was kind of hoping he'd find someone familiar here.... Iyami so he could bully him, Chibita for a shoulder to cry on, Totoko to flir... okay, he can't flirt with her anymore but it'd still be nice to see her in her cute glory again!! But unfortunately, his search was coming up zero and after wandering around and almost getting shot for a while, he was ready to turn in.
Except, while he was crossing the sands he heard something interesting. Someone talking about his "manga self" and yelling about being a protagonist on vacation. To normal people, that'd sound really strange but for Osomatsu: it's a comrade. He turns to see the silver haired man yelling at someone with a gun, and he knows that is... going to turn into a nasty scene. So in a loud, kind of off-key voice he sings a familiar song and it has the human with the gun slowly becoming hypnotized. His arms go limp and the gun falls out of his hands, and Osomatsu finishes off his song with an on-beat clap and walks over to Gintoki with a grin. And he points to the firearm on the ground.]
You miiiight wanna pick that up before that guy snaps back to normal.
