She watches the Haruspex fall backwards with a mixture of sadness and worry. She's come to expect reactions like this, even if a bit more subdued; still, she can only be so surprised when people are horrified at the thing she's become. But that sort of thing hurts to think too much about, and there's a clearly sick man in front of her. She kneels down (still at a safe distance), keeping him in her sights in case he pulls something out of his pocket, and speaks in the most reassuring tones she can manage.

"I promise I won't hurt you. I just want to help."

It comes out a little quiet - she's nervous, true, but more than anything it's the idea that someone might refuse aid because of the thing she's become. Just how sick is he? He's losing balance, she can tell that much, but he's still got enough energy to put up a fight. She could pick him off easily enough,, she thinks, and when she realizes the way her mind is trying to view him her stomach turns.

"If you need water, I have some with me." He's not likely to take it - but then, she has to try, right?
