They are. Though I have not been here long, no one bothers with the beach and the docks. They've been emptied out, actually. The "shadow king" Katsuie rules this kingdom of no people.

I am one of two subjects, apparently. Oh. And all the cats are part of it too, I guess. But past the empty docks is the city of Vandare full of lovely people all alive and well. You're better off there than here. I can lead you there, if you like. Wandering won't do you any favors.
