Sample scenarios:
SCENARIO ONE: So you've just arrived, and already SOME the natives are trying to get on your good side. Offers of food, shelter and other luxuries in return for hoping you don't eat them. They even have some helpful pamphlets to share with you. "How To Deal With Changes", "Alternatives to Human Flesh", "What to Expect When You're Expecting (to turn into a monster)" are all great pamphlets. There's even some detailing certain monsters, and the changes they go through. Some of these seem to have been passed down from one monster to the next.
Among these however, are some... not so helpful ones. "Bunnyipyips And You", "Axe Thief Axehounds," and "So you're becoming a Fur Bearing Trout" among others. Sometimes they have marks on them from previous people who had them saying they are lies, or pointing out good "jokes."
Then there's the people who aren't happy to see you at all. Glares and silent, judging stares if you're lucky. Torches and pitchforks attempting to drive you out of the town if you're not. You may need a friend to help you.
SCENARIO TWO: You've become hopelessly lost in Lager Woods. Paths don't seem to lead where you remember them leading, and you feel as if you're going around in circles. Childlike giggling can be heard from no direction in particular. Suddenly, you stumble upon another character, who seems to be just as lost as you! Perhaps you can find a way out together. Or maybe they want you for lunch...
SCENARIO THREE: The time has come and you've found yourself becoming a monster. Is the change instant, or gradual? Are you familiar enough with monsters to know what's happening, or is it a complete shock? NOTE: Feel free to pick any monster type for this prompt, but note that you may not get the same one in game.
SCENARIO FOUR: The claws, the fangs, the pangs of hunger - horrible as they all are, it's manageable given enough time and perseverance. Local monster hunters, though, not so much.
Maybe it started with a few wayward glances on the outskirts of town, critical stares and disapproving whispers, or just the misfortune of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Whatever it was, deserved or entirely unprovoked, you're being hunted: a handful of aggressive, well-armed humans doggedly chase your trail throughout city streets and out into the open, and if you're not careful (if you don't find help soon) you might wind up as the next trophy kill claim on one of those hunter's walls.

[A familiar voice rings through the trees, and black and red-webbed wings dart through the air - a hunter or two wielding the silver-shooting guns are toppled as what looks like a Grimm lands between Ruby and the pack. It certainly has a familiar enough mask and wings, but after the immediacy of the meeting it's not hard to identify Pyrrha, even changed as she is. She lands heavily, not quite used to the wings and how they brake yet, but it's still quite a graceful motion, and she turns towards the hunters without fear.]
I don't want to fight any of you, but I can't let you hurt my friend. [Even as she spreads those wings to cover Ruby, she bites her lip, the motion strange with the top half of her face hardened into the mask of a Grimm. Of all the monsters she could have become...]
YESSSS
But even with the exhaustion taking over so much that it feels like she's about ready to pass out, she snaps to alertness when she sees just who it is that saved her, and her stomach turns. No no no she has to be careful, That can't happen again...!]
Be careful, they know what weaknesses we have...!
[She's not really sure what weaknesses gargoyles have outside of the sun thing, but who knows what the hunters have up their sleeves...!]
I TOOK MY SWEET TIME BUT I AM HERE NOW...
If they have a chance of talking their way out of this, perhaps it's better to take that first. Singling out the apparent leader of the rag-tag pack, the one furthest to the fore and with the largest weapon, she meets his eyes with confidence and a head held high.]
I understand your quarrel with monsters, but we don't wish you harm. Or anyone. Please, stand down before we have to defend ourselves.
[The idea of that coming to pass scares her as much as it does Ruby, or maybe even more. She hadn't known her own strength enough to prevent a death in her own world - how could she be sure of it here, so soon after the change? But she doesn't let it show through, and though the pack leader's face is set and promising things to get ugly, her words seem to have a tangible effect on him. At the words "stand down", a small shudder seems to run through him, and despite his own look and the looks of every other human in the pack, his weapon lowers just a little.]
no subject
Normally, Ruby's a lot braver than this. But that's when she's fighting monsters, or people who are clearly bad guys. These humans... their anger at the monsters is justified. How can Ruby even try and make them out to be bad guys? And Pyrrha making a stand like that, it just brings her straight back to that horrible moment at the top of the tower...]
We... we can still run. We'll leave everyone alone, promise...!
no subject
The apparent dissension among the crowd gives Pyrrha a small surge of hope that talking this out might not be for nothing, at least.]
Right. There's no reason this has to come to battle - we can all just be on our way. Nobody needs to be hurt.
[She's still making eye contact with the head of the other party out of respect for the opponent, and again the words seem to puzzle him, make him pause. It's not exactly a clear opening, but his lapse in aggression seems to be bubbling through the crowd, a few of the others murmuring to each other as the ones with leftover aggression apparently wait for some kind of order to strike that's not forthcoming.
Sensing what might be an opening, Pyrrha moves closer to Ruby, an inconspicuous hand out in offer of help if they have to make a break for it.]
