The giggling wasn't too worrying. He's already been told that there were things living out here. If you didn't show fear they would hesitate to attack you, just the same as back home.... but the spell or curse that caused him to get lost was something he hadn't planned for.
But instead of panicking he climbs up into a tree and waits, watching out for monsters. Eventually the sun will rise and he'll flag someone down- until then his dagger is out and he's more then willing to attack first if he has to]

[Ingway recognized this hunger- it was the same he felt after he had placed the Darkova curse on himself. A need for flesh, blood, death. To feast and gorge himself with no end. If he hadn't already been warned he would have laughed. Instead he had spent the time he had left as a human laying threads and honeypots. Making alliances with people on the 'network' without letting them ever meet him (or one of his alternate names) in person. People he had no issue attacking if he had to.
People that were outsiders like him, that would come back when he killed them. Probably. You had to break a few eggs.
The person he had arranged to meet didn't know him as 'Ingway'. Didn't even know him as a man at all. 'She' was a young woman that was dealing with the changes like everyone else- was too scared to meet people face to face before now... but 'her' hunger was starting and maybe one of her friends would help teach her to hunt? Sweet, a little flirty but not too much. Innocent.
The fact that 'she' went by Ariel meant nothing, nothing. Ingway fiddled with the charm he had bought from Mana, watching from the shadows, waiting for his 'ally']
