ONE

[ He really, really didn't want to deal with this right now. He's tired, he's sore. There's no other place Robin wants to be than his own bed, under the warm covers and getting sleep he desperately needs. He limps along, trying to ignore the fact that his legs feel like lead.

There are more friendly locals than bad ones, he notices. It's probably because it looks like he got the life beaten out of him...which, he kind of did. Robin spots cuts all over, bruises, a black eye that's almost swollen shut. He tries to show how calm he is (when in reality, he's not), but it's pretty obvious that he's exhausted. But this doesn't stop them from handing out pamphlets.

In no time, Robin has a range of information sheets that he can't take seriously at all. What to do when you crave Human Flesh. Harpy Feathers and How to Take Care of Them. Things that, even though he's fought giant plasma monsters and supervillains alike, he can hardly believe. Especially the fact that people think that he's going to turn into these things.

His tired brain tries to process what he can. Robin needs to find out where he is, why. Where the other Titans were. The fact that it's dark, with no moon to light the way, and in some deep part of him, he's kind of scared. ]

This is ridiculous. [ He'll just mutter that under his breath. Whether he's talking to you or not, that's something else entirely! ]

TWO

Who's there?

[ Robin wasn't sure what brought him out to these woods, but it was a dumb mistake. After wandering some time through the trees, he's lost. He scales the branches, looking to see which way would take him home. He tries to use every method he can to estimate the closest way to civilization, and even those don't work. The fact that he can't do something as easy as navigate his way through the woods is pretty irritating; Robin becomes less and less patient as time goes by.

And then he hears the children laughing.

It's...creepy. His heart pounds, his hands are clenched into fists. Robin's not at all sure what's going on here, but it can't be a joke. What child would be wandering around in the woods like this? Trying to imagine a child as lost as he was already alarming. Hearing them laugh like it was some joke didn't really help. If anything, it set him on edge. ]

Where are you? [ The giggling is heard from his right; Robin spins around to face the source of the noise. Nobody there.

Then the left. He turns, same result.

You'll probably find Robin standing there, glaring off into space. Normal stuff. ]
