[Even with his eyes bandaged, his sight still recovering from his bout with the (now former) Seis, it doesn't take Jellal long to realize that none of his guild mates are close; not Meredy, not Eric, Macbeth or any of the others. His disorientation is strong; he can't sense any magic at all… and the vague explanations from the hospital staff weren't much of any help at all.
It's not much better now that he's escaped and made it out into town – people keep trying to shove things into his hands, papers?, and nobody is actually explaining anything. Moving blindly is a hassle, but he doesn't dare to reach up and remove the bandages just yet; Meredy's warnings not to strain himself too soon still too fresh. One careless movement, a shove from somewhere in the crowd and Jellal is sent stumbling, hands reaching forward to catch himself on something, anything… another person, perhaps.
His head bows slightly once he's regained his balance and pulled his hands back.]
My apologies! Are you alright?
[ III – Goblin ]
[His sight has returned, and he has long been told the facts of what happens in this place, this dimension (parallel to Earthland like Edolas maybe? Was it truly the Fog God that called him here, if it was did She access an anima?), to realize that magic here works differently and his own not at all.
Despite all the warnings, despite knowing what the fog will bring, the change hits sudden and fast – forcing Jellal to double over in the middle of the streets, eyes wide as he twitches; his bones bending and twisting onto themselves into shorter shape. By the time awareness returns, his throat feels hoarse… has he been screaming?
Yet, the greatest surprise is the ice licking at his fingers as he right himself, grass and ground around him covered by frost in shape of his outline. For a moment he closes his eyes, reaching inwards for power like he's done it for near twenty years and surely enough he can feel something moving, a faint gust brushing over his hands. It's very little, much less than his true power is capable of, but…]

…So this is the magic of this realm.
[It's a start, something familiar to work with.]
