MARCH TEST DRIVE MEME

TEST DRIVE
Welcome to Ryslig's test drive meme! If you're considering apping here, this is where you can try your characters out in the game's setting. A few things to note:

  • You can only app ONE character per round so choose wisely.
  • We now have a Quick Game Facts that simplifies the basic information about the game. Good if you want to see what the game is at a glance!
  • Ryslig's FAQ is located here, so please take a look if you have questions.

  • The Reserve date is MARCH 25th 12:01AM EST.
  • There is an Enable Me / App this Plz to see what some people are offering or would love to play.
  • Test drive meme threads can be used for your roleplay sample!
  • Players with characters already in the game can earn up to a maximum of 6 coins by replying to potential character threads! You cannot use this to go over the bonus 20 coins per month total, but you can use it to reach that coin total. Same rules as normal bonuses apply.

Sample scenarios:
SCENARIO ONE: So you've just arrived, and already SOME the natives are trying to get on your good side. Offers of food, shelter and other luxuries in return for hoping you don't eat them. They even have some helpful pamphlets to share with you. "How To Deal With Changes", "Alternatives to Human Flesh", "What to Expect When You're Expecting (to turn into a monster)" are all great pamphlets. There's even some detailing certain monsters, and the changes they go through. Some of these seem to have been passed down from one monster to the next.

Among these however, are some... not so helpful ones. "Bunnyipyips And You", "Axe Thief Axehounds," and "So you're becoming a Fur Bearing Trout" among others. Sometimes they have marks on them from previous people who had them saying they are lies, or pointing out good "jokes."

Then there's the people who aren't happy to see you at all. Glares and silent, judging stares if you're lucky. Torches and pitchforks attempting to drive you out of the town if you're not. You may need a friend to help you.

SCENARIO TWO: You've become hopelessly lost in Lager Woods. Paths don't seem to lead where you remember them leading, and you feel as if you're going around in circles. Childlike giggling can be heard from no direction in particular. Suddenly, you stumble upon another character, who seems to be just as lost as you! Perhaps you can find a way out together. Or maybe they want you for lunch...

SCENARIO THREE: The time has come and you've found yourself becoming a monster. Is the change instant, or gradual? Are you familiar enough with monsters to know what's happening, or is it a complete shock? NOTE: Feel free to pick any monster type for this prompt, but note that you may not get the same one in game.

SCENARIO FOUR: The claws, the fangs, the pangs of hunger - horrible as they all are, it's manageable given enough time and perseverance. Local monster hunters, though, not so much.

Maybe it started with a few wayward glances on the outskirts of town, critical stares and disapproving whispers, or just the misfortune of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Whatever it was, deserved or entirely unprovoked, you're being hunted: a handful of aggressive, well-armed humans doggedly chase your trail throughout city streets and out into the open, and if you're not careful (if you don't find help soon) you might wind up as the next trophy kill claim on one of those hunter's walls.

1-Training

[Karin doesn't feel like taking up on the locals charity. Gifts...offers for shelter... They didn't seem honest, somehow. The glares, though? That seemed more appropriate to the situation even though they were just as annoying.

She needed to do something. Laying the (worthless) pamphlets on a bench, Karin begins to do sit ups on the grass next to it.]

Fifteen...sixteen...

[Yes, that's a middle schooler.]

3--Werewolf Shenanigans

[Karin's practically at home in Bavan's park. It's a perfect area to jog around in. Even her new tail begins to wag at the very thought of coming up to the park. It's such a large pleasant area.

Wait. Is that ball? She's just going to try to catch it but it just bounces off her head.]
Hey--watch where you're throwing that thing!

[She totally meant to do that.]

Wildcard; network option

So. Let me ask you a question: does anyone know how to get a treadmill in a place like this? Or something like that.

I need to keep my training regiment during the day.

[Painful is probably an understatement, too. If her grimace is anything to go by.
Why. Why did she have to take a picture of his stupid face?
Especially when there's so many other stupid faces out there that are perfect for photos!!]

... Your face is asymmetrical. One eye is lower than the other.
Your hair has fly-aways that you probably have a lot of trouble keeping down without hairgel.
Your nose is too small for the size of your face, and your jaw is too round for your age.

As a photographer, I'd say your looks are comparable to nickel, at best.

[Maybe that'll teach him not to spout off conceited stuff like that. Maybe!!!]

[L's shaggy head nods once, very slightly, just enough for someone watching closely to see a confirmation regarding the name. He's quick to replace it with a new one, though, which should hardly be surprising given the number of names Light already knows to call L by.]

It's Linden Tailor, here.

[The words sound tense, slightly strained. L breathes only to speak now, to lend wind to the dusty bellows of his lungs. Otherwise, he's still in a way that probably counts as a crime against nature.]

I hope your trip was pleasant, Light.

[I can't say as much for your stay. When Mello finds out you're here, I wouldn't trade places with you for the world.

That's a secret for now though, a potential ace up his sleeve. No sense laying down every card that isn't completely necessary just yet.]

What is the last thing you remember? I wouldn't want to bore you by repeating details you're already familiar with.

[He can also tell by looking that he and Mello probably collectively hold the edge over him. He's not five years older, as Mello is; he's roughly the same he was when L last saw him. That could work in their favor if he tries to start trouble, or continue an old and vicious grudge now that he and L exist on the same plane again.

L thinks that he's above it. The tenseness in his shoulders and the way he stares with pieces of flint lodged in his cold eyes, however, suggest that he's doing his equal part in holding any grudge underneath the civil facade.]
orwhatever: a little bit sad (a little bit strange)

Wendy Corduroy | Gravity Falls

[personal profile] orwhatever 2016-03-12 04:47 am (UTC)(link)
Scenario 1
[Since a non-ruined city makes a nice change from the oddpocalypse, Wendy is pretty relaxed about this weird new place she's arrived in, even with some less-than-friendly-seeming locals. She could kick ass if needed, but it doesn't seem to be--yet. Even the pamphlets are somewhat amusing, since she accepted them good-naturedly and is now leaning against a building, leafing through them and laughing at some of the more amusing ones.]

Bunyipyips? Werewolves? Axehounds? Geez, Mr. Pines should get some of these people to come up with new junk for the Shack.

Scenario 2
[Wendy grew up in the woods, and knows how not to get lost in them. She's even been making little arrows out of sticks and stones to show which direction she's going. That's part of why being lost right now is so dang frustrating, because she swears she was just in this same clearing ten minutes ago, but the little rock pile she made is not there, so it can't be.]

Ughhh, what?!

[Taking out her frustration by kicking a nearby tree stump, she looks up when she hears someone--or something--else in the forest.]

Who's there?

Scenario 3
[Horns had been cool, like super cool (even though they had hurt and itched like crazy at the time, and she wonders if they have hunting season here and if orange means the same thing as it does back home), and while weird as all get-out, hooves and legs that bend the opposite way was actually also kind of cool. In a freaky way.]

[Wendy hadn't thought much of the fog rolling in at first, until she remembered what 'fog' meant around here. She's hurrying back to safety when a funny feeling starts in her chest, like something heavy is sitting on it, or like she took way too big a bite of food and it's stuck. So she stops, ducking into an alley to lean against the brick wall and try not to throw up like it feels like she wants to. The radiating pain that shoots up her back and into her jaw really, really aren't helping with that either.]

What the--!

[And this is how, at all of fifteen years old, Wendy finds out exactly what it feels like when your heart stops and your body transitions to a new way of being... well, not alive, exactly.]

[Sensation comes flooding back in the form of pins and needles in all her limbs, and a deep hollowness in the pit of her stomach. But Wendy's just going to be there for a long while, silently freaking out at the fact that she doesn't have a heartbeat anymore and what the heck is actually going on and why do the people walking past the alley look tastier than a double cheeseburger right now???]

[No amount of hypothetical or perceived coolness can save a man who has just been roasted.

He's silent for a long moment, as if frozen in place by her words. His smile is still there, but it's visibly strained because ow. It only lasts for a second, though.

And then, he says with a half smile:]

...but there is always room for improvement. Wouldn't you agree?

[But you also can't fix what's broken beyond repair.]

And besides...a nickle has some value, so not all is lost.

►►► scenario one.

[ It's really awkward to wake up in a place that you've never been in before. But what's more awkward is not being in control of the situation, and that disgusts her. Which is why she needs to turn things around and get more information. Which is why she takes the pamphlets willingly, to the point where she's carrying way too many.

She's really short (4'9") which means that the stack of papers is making her unable to see over her head, causing her to tumble across whomever is the first person she bumps into, causing her to tumble backwards and fall right on her behind. ]

—Kyaa! [ That definitely was A Thing. ] S-Sorry, I didn't— I didn't mean to... Are you okay? It was an accident, I swear. I'm really sorry!

►►► scenario four (werewolf)

[ Becoming a wolf was rather... ironic, really. She doesn't really mind, however. The hands that were padded, too big, and had claws, the pointed ears atop her head. The grays that made people believe that her head of hair was gray instead of purple.

    Sigh.

But these monster hunters were definitely a pain, which is why she decides to ask the nearest, person, frantic, tears welling up in her eyes: ]

T-These guys... they're- they're coming after me. They said they wanted to kill me and I- I don't know what to do... [ Little do they know she plans on picking Betray. ]

How many people are you use to living with.. I think back home.. I housed with about fifty swords plus our Saniwa. Maybe more.

[ There's a small pause, since the other doesn't seem bothered or worried about this place. ]

That makes me happy to hear, I'll have to alarm my comrades that we have a new visitor! [ It does, he's a helpful harpy when it comes to wanting to make sure others have a easier time with this place than he did. It's filled with mysteries and even monsters that he may need to be protected from, though that may be a bit hard when he's going to start living in an entire housing of them. ] They're all like me in a way, swords, spirits, others like that so I'm sure you'll fit right in. Some of them are human and some of them are like me.

[ Glancing down at his legs and tail before looking back towards the other. ] Within this place, there are a few minor changes that happens to one's body but I'm sure it's nothing you can't handle seeing on a daily basis. [ He's sure since the other is so keen on exploring and seeing what he can, he does feel bad to have such a positive outlook it had to be in a place like this. He's yet to remove his arms from his sleeves to show his wings, one has to take one step at a time when exposing that they're a monster. ]

As common as it is, when you're out the forest that aren't many voices messing with your head but then again, trolls have the ability to mimic so you should do your best not to get on any of their bad sides. It's rather rough when they can grow much, much bigger than you and want to impale one with rocks but.. I've always found dodging their attempts fun.

[All Mahiru can do is sigh at that.]

At least you show some humility. Jeez, it's like pulling teeth, getting guys to act like decent human beings...

What are you even doing this deep in the woods, anyway? Don't you know you're just a snack to the monsters around here?
If a harpy saw you out here like this, you probably would've been carried away!

Back home, I live with seven others, including myself. Living with considerably less has...taken getting used to.

[Eight people, including mom and dad. While most of their number would kill for space from their brothers, Karamatsu craves attention. Not to the same extent that Todomatsu does, but being with his brothers makes him feel like he belongs to something, even when he's constantly overlooked.

He can't help but raise a brow at Yamato's words, though.]

Fifty, though...that's, a-hah...quite a few more!

[As he says that, he follows Yamato's gaze down to his feet and...oh. Those. Those sure are talons.

Huh.]

...I've noticed that people keep mentioning these "changes". But they can't be that bad, can they?

[Sure, there's talk of trolls and gargoyles and everything in between...but he's also like, 80% sure that one of his younger brothers is part cat, and that's never been something he's actually questioned. Maybe he's not the best person to gauge as far as reasonable levels of concern go.]

[It's him. If there was doubt, then the name helped confirm it. It's one he remembers well, one that had helped humiliate him on national television. Was that some kind of joke? A reminder to that time?

No, that wasn't as important. L's presence changed things. He had a lot of questions to ask himself, but first he needed a starting point, a theory. It was easy to think this was some kind of idea, a plan laid out by L to get some kind of confession, but that doesn't fit. L was rich, but to pull this off felt impossible. It wasn't an idea to rule out, but you acted on the most likely and narrowed it down from there.

If they had taken Light, it was only natural to assume they could take L as well. But, assuming L wasn't in on some kind of elaborate prank, he could be a useful ally. It wouldn't be the first time he used L's ability in Kira's plan - after all, it was with his help that he had been able to track down and recover the note after he had lost his memories.]

I don't remember the trip. [He remembers waking up as if he had literally washed ashore. Did the question mean L had? The question was tucked away to be asked soon; he planned on having a lot of questions for him soon.] I had gone to sleep in your building, and then I woke up here. [L already had an alternate name here. Had he gotten out of the doctor sooner? Was that the reason he had managed to change so quickly?]

But, more importantly for now, what happened to you? [He takes two steps forward to resume his original position, and finally, his eyes take in the form of his rival. It was only yesterday that he had a plan in which to kill him, a plan that would soon be finished. While it wouldn't be his hands that dealt the final blow, it would be his plan that brought it about.

Still, the rivalry wasn't without purpose. Defeating L might be a point of pride here, but that would be all it was without getting home. Any desire to see him dead - or, for Light to win - was put aside for now, at least in terms of planning. He would have to adjust his original plan once he got back home.

As he spoke, his eyes went back down to the brochure. When turning into a monster? If this was real, that would imply the same would happen to him. No, he couldn't let that happen. He refused to let himself turn into something so ridiculously hideous, something so inefficient. Probably, the danger would go away once he made it home. That had to happen fast. With any luck, he could get adequate information from L.

Not that L was always the easiest person to trust.]

[Humility is a rare commodity in the Matsuno family tree. Some have less than others, but for the most part, it just doesn't exist. And Karamatsu obviously has no shame, so.]

I wanted to go for a walk, that's all. This forest is perfect for doing just that.

[SURE. SURE IT IS.

...and he's still hopelessly lost, so there's that.]

I would ask you why, as a monster, you have not eaten me yet...but I couldn't bear to compare you to such.

[Even though he sortof did just now.]
yasusada: (69.)

[personal profile] yasusada 2016-03-12 05:20 am (UTC)(link)
That's understandable, it's truly odd to live with less people than what you're use to. Luckily you'll have a fuller house to keep you going for awhile. [ Well, until his other brothers show up here but who knows if Karamatsu would want them in a place like this. From Yamato's perspective, he guesses that it must be his roommates of sorts and he's sure they must be worried about him. ]

There's quite a few more but I don't believe I've met them all. The Saniwa seems to meet new swords every month it feels like back home.. so who knows if it's the same fifty back home. [ He guesses it's about fifty, he's not about to count all his comrades on his talons. ]

You really are calm about all this, I've never seen someone remain that way for so long? [ Drumming his talons against the ground as he speaks up. ] They don't have to be bad but sometimes.. going through them is gruesome. I lost my normal legs by my flesh peeling off right in front of a friend of mine.. it was quite troublesome.

[ Maybe his brother is a manticore in disguise, bring him back to Ryslig perhaps. ] There's various forms here but.. would you be satisfied with changing and not staying the way you are?
kirlian: (5.)

The only reason I haven't eaten you is because I'm sure you'll taste horrible.

[No, that's a lie... He'd probably make the perfect snack for someone like her werewolf friend.]

Also, don't try and flirt with me. It's just annoying.

[... She's admittedly gone pretty pink, though. Compliments are rare for her!
Especially now that she's turning into a buff, furry Minotaur.]

Look, you're probably lost, right? I'll lead you out of here, so you don't turn into an easy meal for a nymph or something.
But I better hear a "thank you" for it, or I'll throw you into the lake.

[Karamatsu nods, seemingly satisfied with that. Fifty people...that is a lot to be living with all at once, but he imagines that the house must be ten times the size of his own back home. He might even have his own room! Now that would be something he could get used to.

But back to the matter at hand...]

Heh...my beautiful face cannot be marred simply by a few cosmetic changes. No matter what fate decides, I will still be Karamatsu.

[Shiny pants, painfulness, and all. He really does seem to be taking all of this well, but it's hard to say whether he really believes what he's saying, or if he's just trying to convince himself he does by repeating it aloud.]

[He sees that blush and smiles, any further insults passing right over his head as he carefully slips the photograph she took into the pocket of his jacket, lifting his other hand to push his sunglasses up higher.

He snaps his fingers and points toward the forest.]

Then lead the way, and I will follow!

[Incidentally, he's pointing the way he was headed, which is no doubt the path to getting even more lost than he already is.]

[There are a lot of reasons that L chose that name, and chief among them is because his rival, the person he marked as his intellectual equal just as much as his prime suspect, would immediately recognize it as L's very first calling card to Kira. Mello telling him what he learned from the Shinigami who was more forthcoming than Rem has confirmed something very important, but there's merit to pretending. There's merit to behaving, at least for a little while, like he suspects Light with infuriating tenacity but has still been unable to definitively prove it.

It'll be difficult, but he knows that if he comes out with guns blazing, he could lose his chance to pick apart one of the most devious and fascinating minds he's ever encountered. That, at least, is something that Light owes him, and he doesn't have to be aware he's delivering just yet.

Just because I know you're Kira doesn't mean there aren't more games we can play.]

To me...? What happens to everyone who arrives here the way we did, Light. No one experiences them exactly the same way, but the certainty is that it will happen. You're infected with something that will make you start to sprout teeth, claws, wings, antlers... any number of things you're not used to. It's uncomfortable, embarrassing and degrading for many.

[You'll hate it. I'll love to watch you hate it.]

What was happening with the investigation, Light?

[He knows that Light could well lie about it, if he remembers L's death but doesn't want that information known by the detective. L figures that that truth will come out sooner or later, but he imagines that chances aren't terrible Light doesn't remember his death. Wouldn't he have looked much more shocked when he'd seen L if he'd expected the man to be six feet under?]

Amy Pond || Doctor Who

[personal profile] amypondtravels 2016-03-12 05:39 am (UTC)(link)
[1]
Amy's been a lot of strange places with the Doctor -- and without the Doctor, for that matter. Space Florida, the Byzantium, the moon of Gorgoror, and untold times, future and past on Earth. She'd been stuck, consumed, kidnapped, and separated from the Doctor and Rory more times than she could count, and this was just another one. Probably.

All she had to do was wait. So in the meantime, she observed.

A mixture of humans and... she wouldn't have called them humans but there were others with varying degrees of humanoid characteristics, ranging from being completely average looking with scales or horns to... well. Walking, talking rocks creatures among them. She closed the pamphlet that had been pushed into her hands, murmured a quiet "excuse me," and stepped out of one such creature's path down the street, and they passed by. If that didn't beat all.

Curiosity overtook her, and she stopped the next person (creature?) she was passing by. "Excuse me, I'm sorry, but do you have the time?" she asked, smiling pleasantly.

[2]
The city gave way to smaller, quieter neighborhoods, and eventually it all faded into quiet fields and forest. Forests had never been quite the same for Amy after getting lost in the Byzantium with Weeping Angels hot on her heels, but there was at least one thing about them that brought her a sort of comfort: the only water in the forest is the River.

She found herself lost quite easily -- or at least it seemed like she kept coming back to the same place. She knelt down at the fork in the path and looked around for a moment. There were rocks in the soil, if she collected enough, she could build a small cairn to mark where she'd been and which direction she'd already taken.

Probably should have done that to begin with. Better late than never. She could do with a sonic screwdriver right about now. (What for, she couldn't say, as it didn't do wood. But it was a right useful little tool, even if it didn't come with the Doctor attached.)

[3]
She'd been here too long, and this is what waiting was getting her.

First it was the teeth, which she could handle. No big deal, she'd lived through braces, she could live through her canines elongating. Vampire, they'd told her knowingly. Amy had seen vampires before, and they'd turned out to be space fish, so who really knew?

But she knew it had to be true when she started smelling the blood -- and not just spilled blood either, like at a slaughterhouse or a crime scene. She knew what it smelled like still in the vein. A human walking in touching distance was a temptation almost too great to resist. Even the tiniest, most delicate heartbeat called to her and she wanted to stop it. She needed to stop it, and feel the blood hot on her tongue.

God, it was gross to think about. But if she wanted to find Rory, or the Doctor, and leave, she would have to survive. She would have to succumb eventually.

[The blow hits Mello right where it's meant to, but it doesn't hurt nearly as much as it should and certainly doesn't cause him to loosen his grip. If anything, the feeling of being that much stronger than his opponent is exhilarating. Though he knows it's not a good idea to feel positive about any of these changes it can admittedly be difficult.

Light is at least in luck in that the blond doesn't plan to kill him. Not here, anyway. Not now. With L in the picture it wouldn't even be right of him to. The other man deserves full involvement. What he does aim to do is press 'Kira' up against the side of the building, holding his arm against his neck in a way that discourages movement.

Only when Light is right in front of him does he realize his mistake. In his desire to have this man at his mercy, he hadn't watched him long enough to realize that something was off. He looks younger - much younger than he should. Possibly younger than Mello himself. If what he's learned about this world is to be believed, then that means Light has been brought into it from an earlier time.

Meaning he doesn't know Mello at all.

Why?

His expression hardens, as the situation suddenly becomes so much less enjoyable and a hell of a lot more infuriating. Any victory at this moment means nothing, because in Light's eyes he hasn't yet earned any sort of notoriety. His face, his name, the scar that covers half his face and par of his back - none of it holds any significance to him.

He'll have to earn that all over again.]

Though, hopefully you don't become a monster that would just cover your entire face in fur. What would you do if no one could see you? Hm.. how would you be able to see, that sounds troublesome.

[ A pause as he nods. ] Even if your head becomes a giant ball of hair, you'll always be Karamatsu... Karamatsuson. [ He doesn't know his last name, he has to think of something. ]

[ Getting lost isn't such a strange thing for her, not recently. Her head feels foggy from the flurry of activity, from the terrible things in Doolin and the Netherworld, to her arrival here and everything else. The looks she's been getting... They are so painful and familiar. It is difficult, even now, to convince herself not to shut away and run. That's what happens when things are too painful.

She hasn't run, per se. Merely...explored. And gotten lost. That's all.

The forest is pleasant to her, the quiet peaceful enough, even when she begins to feel antsy with how lost she's getting. Hadn't she just gone that way? Or...is she seeing things? There's chittering in the trees, like laughter, and she spins around in surprise. ]

Is someone there? Hello?

[ Are they faerys? Ellen peers around, seeing a shape moving in the underbrush. ]

Are you-- Are you a faery? Can you help me?

[ It feels like...slipping away. Like reality is slipping through her fingers and she can't hold on to anything tangible. This isn't the first time she's felt this way but she is no less frightened. Ellen stumbles as she begins to feel the world give way, the color and vibrancy of the world seeming to dim in the fog of her vision for just a few moments. She doesn't feel sick. She almost wishes she did, so that she might know what's wrong.

But no, her very form is beginning to lose its luster, fading into darkness and mist even as her eyes brighten in the blackness of the night. She shivers as if feeling cold - or perhaps her very form is briefly wavering - and she struggles to hold herself together. ]

What's... What's happening?

[ She knew about the changes. They told her. But the experience itself is terrifying. She reaches out for anyone, anything, because everything else seems to be slipping away from her.

This isn't how death felt. This was so much worse. ]

four; (gargoyle)
[ To say Ellen has difficulty with conflict is an understatement. She wants to help, wants to be helpful to people. Turning into something so horrible is bad enough, isn't it? But now she's in a heap of trouble, and it's not the easiest thing to manage her newfound traits. The wings are long but cumbersome; the claws only make her look more menacing than she actually is. No matter the scales or the odd look she has now, she still looks far more like a frightened deer in headlights when people start coming after her, all because she frightened someone by being clumsy enough to bump into them.

It's just the sort of thing that would be blown out of proportion.

She's running as quickly as she can out of the outskirts of town, climbing haphazardly onto a roof and then into a tree as a few people pass by on their way to look for her.

But others find her first, yelling, some throwing stones. Others are getting weapons. ]

Please, stop! I didn't mean any harm!

[ Her voice comes out strained and she leaps from one tree to the next, trying to buy time, to get away... She looks like the most unfortunate monster in the world, even if the desire to do more wells up within her. She clamps claws over her pointed ears. ]

Leave me alone!!

[...Oops. Well, he'll just fix that right now!]

Karamatsu Matsuno. It's a pleasure, Koizumi.

[Karamatsu pushes his hands into the pockets of his jeans as he walks, looking all the world like a guy who wishes he stepped right out of a magazine. Even the way he saunters and carries himself says that he thinks pretty highly of himself, despite the fact that he's about as big of a loser as you'll be able to find.]

A monster, eh...that's what people keep saying.

[And he sees it himself. After all, you only have to live here for a day before you start noticing them.]

Like an epidemic. How soon did you start to feel a change...?

[The irony here is that will likely be exactly what Karmatsu turns into, but...well, he'll have to cross that bridge when he gets to it, won't he? That very furry, furry bridge.]

There is always a solution, my friend! I could always style my hair to suit my needs. No problem.

[...he does hope his face doesn't get covered in fur, though. That would be a little problematic, considering. But if he had silky, beautiful fur...hm...]

[She's all too aware of Sora's lookalike. Everyone had seen fit to tell her about him. To worry and fret. The moment she hears his voice her eyes snap open, white and all too wide, the edges of panic on her face likely far too obvious. She's not good at hiding how she....she's not good at hiding.

It's hard to tell where exactly she's looking, with those eyes, but her head tilts to look at him. Her concentration shifted, the black suddenly lurches up to her elbows and knees, streaking up her hair until it was all that wisping grey and black drifting about her head like she was under water. As if she noticed all at once what happened, she let out a tiny horrified noise and the shadows drifting up and over her seemed to halt as if she'd forced them into an absolute stillness.

Her voice sounds strained when she speaks, but she is not about to lose to this, not like this. Now that she's fading she'd do anything to make it stop. How strange.

I'm not- Don't call me that.
