It's no surprise then that this Great Witch feels more at home in the woods rather than not--even if she does lose her way more quickly than expected. None of her Shades are at work here, no author to dictate her fate. Just her and the other lost souls who continue to wander, wondering why they came in the first place. There's a ringing laughter in her ears that she can only interpret as mocking.
With frustration, Darklaw sighs, and Hershel may notice an arc of metallic gold shine in the distance as her hand streaks across to slam into a tree.
