TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTERS: Marco is the former CEO of not!Microsoft and a current member of the Ryslig IT Crew (tm). He's friendly, generous and kind, as well as neurotic and kind of a guilt-ridden sad sack. Also he's a merperson with the most inconvenient trenchcoat in history, on account of it literally being part of his body.

WHAT YOUR CHARACTER(S) WILL BE DOING:
So! I've mentioned this on Plurk and last month's CR meme, IIRC, but now I can be more solid about it: soon(-ish), Marco will have a psychotic break. He kind of already had problems before he came to Ryslig, the peninsula has not been kind to him, and now I figure the advent mask shenanigans could very much trigger something in him for good. For a little while before shit actually hits the fan, he will be aware something's not right, but eventually his sense of insight is getting shot to bits too (I have an idea of what could precipitate that, but that's not actually... solid).

Anyhow, I thought I'd say this because it's relevant to his CR, because his delusions may present opportunities for plotting (spoilers they're probably going to be religious and moralistic), aaand because I know some people might prefer not to deal with this at all, which is why I added an opt-out to Marco's HMD. And of course, I'm very much open to criticism on what I'm doing, too! I aim to be as respectful as I can, but in case I do anything wrong, I'd love to know about it so I can fix it.

... Also he's getting super swindled soon. That's also a thing.

SCENARIOS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Honestly, I want both the kind of CR that can legitimately help him and the kind of CR that can make things exponentially worse. My general goal for him is to have an arc where things get worse before they get better in the long term, so yes.

A handful of more specific scenarios I'd be interested in include:
- Recruiting people for the Fourth God! He's pretty sure he's on the right side, and by now he sees joining the fourth god as legitimate self-defence against the fog god, so, Y'KNOW. His feelings on the matter will probably get more intense over time. We'll see.
- Negative CR with fog god followers! I've considered having him go like "WAIT I KNOW I SHOULD FEED EXCLUSIVELY ON FOG GOD DUDES" but that'd be impractical and most likely short-lived, whoops. Still, negative CR is great and I'd be very interested in having him kill a fog-aligned character to go adept.
- ... Thief stuff? :U I'd be down to play with the mer's instinctual hatred of thieves; I've more or less decided it's going to be a thing mainly when it affects Marco personally (e.g. if you steal a trinket he had his eyes on, or straight-up steal from him), aaand I dunno, I feel like I haven't had enough of a chance to play Angry Marco save for that one network post where he was a minotaur, haha.
- Really though I'm open to all sorts of things! Feel free to hit me up if you have an idea I didn't mention, even if it's super vague. We'll work something out!

ANYTHING ELSE: I'm on GMT and honestly terrible at managing my time. I do my best to tag at least once per day, but sometimes I end up being too tired to do that consistently and skip the occasional day, so sorry about that! Also, I'm a master's student and things may or may not get super stressful in the second semester. I GUESS I WILL FIND OUT
