Welcome to Ryslig's test drive meme! If you're considering apping here, this is where you can try your characters out in the game's setting. A few things to note:
You can only app ONE character per round so choose wisely.

Test drive meme threads can be used for your roleplay sample!
NEW! Players with characters already in the game can earn up to a maximum of 3 coins per bonus coin group (so 6 total) by replying to potential character threads! You will need to have your normal 20 comment AC in the game. You cannot use this to go over the bonus 20 coins per month total, but you can use it if you are missing some threads to reach that coin total. Same rules as normal bonuses apply.
Sample scenarios:
SCENARIO ONE: So you've just arrived, fresh out of the hospital, and already the natives are trying to get on your good side. Offers of food, shelter and other luxuries in return for hoping you don't eat them. They even have some helpful pamphlets to share with you. "How To Deal With Changes", "Alternatives to Human Flesh", "What to Expect When You're Expecting (to turn into a monster)" are all great pamphlets. There's even some detailing certain monsters, and the changes they go through. Some of these seem to have been passed down from one monster to the next.
Among these however, are some... not so helpful ones. "Bunnyipyips And You", "Axe Thief Axehounds," and "So you're becoming a Fur Bearing Trout" among others. Sometimes they have marks on them from previous people who had them saying they are lies, or pointing out good "jokes."
SCENARIO TWO: You've become hopelessly lost in Lager Woods. Paths don't seem to lead where you remember them leading, and you feel as if you're going around in circles. Childlike giggling can be heard from no direction in particular. Suddenly, you stumble upon another character, who seems to be just as lost as you! Perhaps you can find a way out together. Or maybe they want you for lunch...
SCENARIO THREE: You've heard about the fog, but you've never seen it before. Now, the mist surrounds you. Barely able to see before you, you need to get home - and fast. It's far too dangerous in this situation.
SCENARIO FOUR: The time has come and you've found yourself becoming a monster. Is the change instant, or gradual? Are you familiar enough with monsters to know what's happening, or is it a complete shock? NOTE: Feel free to pick any monster type for this prompt, but note that you may not get the same one in game.

Bunnyipyip...?
[ she's still a fair distance out - hopefully, madoka's voice doesn't scare the newcomer. hopefully her appearance isn't too terrible either, come to think of it... ]
[She's not scared by the new voice, but her attention is drawn up when she hears someone repeating her words, and the first thing she sees is--] Antlers.
--I mean, I'm not staring! [She pointedly averts her gaze and bites her lip, realizing instantly that her denial is both specific and suspicious.
Nope. Not staring. Just... reading. Connie raises the pamphlet about "bunnyipyips" back up to her face and gazes at it intently, not really reading the words but just pretending to. Soon her eyes travel back to the tall, antlered girl over the top of the thick paper. She can't help it, but the pamphlet acts as a shield.]
[ she flushes a bit at the other girl's reaction, dropping her gaze down and away. so they're definitely new here - aside from the pamphlets, they can't have seen any wendigo around, right? ]
Um... hello, there. [ she brings a hand up, tentatively waving to the other girl. ] Did you just get in?
[She slowly lowers the pamphlet she's using as a shield as if oh, this is the first time seeing the wendigo girl, everything is normal by the way. She tries to just look at the older girl's face, but even then she has visible fangs, so she still feels like she's staring and being rude about it. Okay. Just... focus on the eyes, then.
She thinks her parents would disapprove of her talking to a girl with visible fangs. But... she seems nice.]
Yes, I did. I've just been... [She glances at the huge pile of pamphlets down on the bench next to her.] ... reading. Some of it is very strange, though. I'm not sure I understand it completely.

[ she tries to smile in connie's direction without looking directly towards her - lips tightly closed, not baring any teeth past her jagged fangs. she'd rather stay as not-threatening as possible. ]
Um- if you're confused, or have any questions, I can try to help! I've been here almost a year now, so...
[She pauses to think. She's not sure she'll ever get used to living with monsters, let alone becoming one. But then the other girl says she's been here a year, and that's certainly enough time to get used to something new. But it also concerns her, because a year is also a long time to be suddenly displaced from where you were, and she frowns. She frowns a lot.]
Am I going to be stuck here forever? Because I'm not sure I should be missing tennis practice, or school, and I'm pretty sure my parents will call an Amber Alert out for me.
